Really filling out. Not a lot of height but that's to be expected with this strain. Starting to get a dank smell already. I'm confident this is gonna be a good grow.
Second week of bloom stage, and all is well. Third transplant of the grow beginning of the week. Bloom stage nutes from advance nutrients. These girls are under Lumenater 2x from Lush Lighting. I'm very happy with the results all the way round.
Really got some height out of these girls this week and foliage. Buds starting to come in nice as well. I'm wondering if I should have kept this strain and the sky/tri in veg a couple more weeks instead of starting them off under 12/12? Oh well, I'm confident it's gonna be quality flower. Didn't have the room to use Lst on them properly so we'll see what happens.
Week 4 of bloom stage and all is well. Buds are developing nicely, and both girls are healthy and happy. Good results and looking forward to some dank smoke.
The Dogstar is shining. Same with these girls. Finished up the Big Bud cycle. Decreased humidity which I believe really caused them to suck some serious nutrients through their root system. They're getting thick, dense, and frosty. Probably gonna knock the temp down a couple more degrees this week as well to increase trichome production. Another good week!
Another great week. The dogs are barking. Getting a good smell to them. Pistils are turning. Buds are dense and getting frosty. Good and strong structure.
Last week before flush. Buds are big, dense, and frosty. Trichomes are starting to get some color. All is well. Flush for a week. Watch the trichomes and get ready to harvest these dogs. Good aroma too!
Okay, so flushed the dogs all week. May have started the flush a little early. Still not seeing as many amber trichomes as I would like so gonna flush a few more days, keep an eye on trichomes, then it's lights out for a couple of days and harvest time. Really smelling dank and looking good!😉✌️
So, these Dogstar girls were started out 12/12 from seed. Started adding the nutes, and gradually increasing light intensity around week 3. For a sativa dominant strain, it seemed to me like these dogs grew more like an indica strain. Great grow. Exceptional flower. Great experience! Another great pleasure and experience to have shared this grow on GD.
Thank you to the entire GD family for all of the interest, likes, and comments. What a great social experience to have a common interest with, and be able to share it with all of you great people!☺️
