Dec 7th Day 63 now I'm reassured and started using GH feed chart.
Dec 8th Day 64 still battling higher than wanted PH of 6.5 instead of 5.8 to 6.0. PPM is now dropping to wanted levels of 700.
Dec 9th Day 65 started to flush again to resolve PH problems
Dec 10th Day 66 still battling high PH of 6.5 and still feeding around 5.2
Dec 11th Day 67 high ph and ppm is dropping low 400 now
Dec 12th Day 68 thinking my distilled water is not maintaining a stable ph. I will have to fortify my distilled water with natural water to maintain a stable ph in the root-zone, I guess.
Dec 13th Day 69 continuing with experiment ph is now 6.3, and ppm is 423
My runoff EC keeps climbing, I've watered just plain water in between feedings to try combating it but it climbs back up. Am I doing that right? Should I be diluting my solution and keeping the ratios the same? Please, any advise is welcomed
Coco needs nutes every watering so don’t give plain water and your nutrient levels are way too high for autos, look at my diary for the nutes I’m using (also using GHE trio) and you can see how much less I’m using. The high levels could be causing lockout therefore increasing coco EC, that’s what was happening to me early on. Also your pH should be 5.8 for soilless in veg and 6.2 for bloom. Happy growing bro
Hallo.
Was hoping to get some advice.
I have 2 Big bud fem autos in week 8 indoor, coco/perlite. 200 w LED Lumatek growing. Canna Coco nutrients. Seeds by MSNL. They are now 2m and 30cm tall. Still not convinced they are autos. Did your girls have obvious flowering signs in week 7/8?
Notice your grow took 15 weeks. If I am to experience the same time scale it would make sense that they are slow showing flowering.
Apart from the height they are healthy looking girls.
I am worried i have to put them through a day or two of darkness to provoke flowering incase they are photos. Downside if I am wrong is damaging end result/yield.
Thank you.
Happy growing.
Hi @Jfmart420. Those are some very nice looking buds. I am also using General Hydroponics nutrients, and am using two Bloom Plus 1500 LED lights. I think these are great lights because the have a full spectrum, including Infrared, which most LED lights lack. The light is also water resistant, and very cheap. I began my grow with one of these lights, but later noticed that they are rated for 3'x3' for veg, but only 2.5'x2.5' for flower. I also found a youtube review video that shows the Par rating for this light which confirms this. I have included the link for the video for you to check out. I think these are great lights, but from my experience and the information I have seen, you may want to consider getting a second for your next grow. Actually, when I purchased my second light, it was $30 off on Amazon that day, so I was able to get it for under $110 with free shipping. I thought this information may help you make a good decision concerning your lighting for your next grow. Keep up the cool grows man!
