My 1st autoflower grow and I can only say good things about the whole experience. Great seeds with great outcome and so easy to grow. I did get a small amount of bud rot but that's definitely no reflection on anything but the environment. I'd recommend this strain to anyone novice to pro it's all round a lovely plant to grow and smoke.
So easy to use. It saved the trouble of having to ph my feed all the time even though I check my ph every feed..but in saying that I think the plants could have handled more than the max dosage recommended but I didn't push it being my 1st auto grow. But definitely happy. Ps my dry weight is just a guesstamate I don't have scales.
Well for my 1st auto grow it was full of surprises wow how quickly they grow,it's like growing just the crown of a photo in the last 3mnths..overall a great time had but as usual for me I do get sad when I have to chop them, I tend to get quite attached to my girls..circle of life hey..peace love and lotsa buds guys and dolls. And thanks for all the help and encouragement.
Is it doing any major harm moving my pots from 1 spot to another a couple of times a day. I keep them facing the same way but i read they don't like being moved so thought I'd ask.
Yes that's right they don't like to be moved around, everytime you move a plant it has to reposition and adjust it self to the sun/light which takes time and energy so everytime it's moved it will slightly stunt it's growth. You can move it but keep it facing the same direction as the sun/light.
I'm using flairform greendream for veg period and wondering if I can use reiziger brand for bloom stage. Will using 1 brand for veg and another for bloom be ok? I would think so but a 2nd opinion would be appreciated. And I know it's probably not recommended but gotta ask. Thanks
Yes... It's all mostly water and salts to varying degrees. Some have dyes some don't.. But your plant can't really tell the difference and as long as you plan on using them at different times I'd say your okay to grow :).
I noticed some canoeing at the very top of 1 of the girls and I'm thinking its bcoz of the heat..I can't see any signs of nute problems or ph..I'm at 700ppm and I'm about to start dropping it 50ppm a day..any thoughts..
Your nute level your running now is ok even 100 ppm higher is ok for mid flower. Late flowering is when I cut my nutes back. Canoeing near the top of the plant is usually caused by excess heat., whether it be to close to a light or a hot day outside. Cheers
I noticed a tiny amount of bud rot on a separate plant than my girls but we've just had a ton of rain and now I'm worried. I'm tossing up chopping the girls while the going is good..hot humid and wet perfect for rot and I can't change the environment. Any advice.
@STICKY67, hey sticky. There are plenty of good ideas online for staking and trellising cannabis plants, just google. You can stake on the outer part of the pot without damaging roots too much. Some techniques drill holes in the rim of the pot and slide stakes on the outside. I reckon one bamboo would do it as its an auto and full size now. Its in good shape, good luck mate 👍🏽
@STICKY67, right! We do get those small wingless grasshoppers here in SEQ. For the outdoor grower, bugs are just all part of the challenge hey. Its a good set up matey 👍🏼🍻
@Shooey, thanks bud..we get a lot of ghoppers this time of the year so it cuts the % down a bit. I've caught a few having a wonder around but they don't last long 🤣.
@STICKY67, I know mate I live in south east qld and it's already reaching 35 here, last year it hit 43 where I am so I feel for you buddy but this year we might be in for a wet one because La Nina is brewing out in the Pacific and supposed to be heading our way was going to put in a outdoor crop but not so sure now.
Congrats on the harvest Sticky!!
Well done mate, and just in the nick of time with the weather too bud.
It looks awesome, enjoy the home grown smokes matey.
Look forward to the next grow 🍻
Beautiful sticky, it looks awesome mate. Can’t be too much longer to go.
Shattered about the rot, but can’t believe just how much rain you guys are getting atm. Hope it settles down soon enough.
Cheers mate 🍻
@Shooey, thanks mate yeah luckily it wasn't to much rot but safe than sorry hey. I'm giving this one as much time as I can. And luckily I'm getting mostly sun during the day a rain at nighr and she's inside by then. Nice choof to mate so can only get better.
@Shooey, I'm thinking the same a couple weeks to go and it's more the humidity I'm worried about like 90% sometimes and yeah I've got cover for them. I've snipped a bit of the bottom of the small one and it's a lovely choof but I'm not touching the bigish one or the main stem of either I'll wait. They already have a nice weight to them so yeah patience hey..
@heizen, thank you. I'm loving it. Only thing is I wanted them for Chrissy but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. It looks like they have a couple weeks more to go.
@windy, thanks mate I'm up cairns way and was great weather until a couple of days ago started raining so no sun well not a lot but it beats the heat you guys are coping down sth..This is my 1st grow in donkeys and sxxt I've missed it. Previously always grown in and outside.Anyway if you ever need any help bud don't hesitate hey. And thanks for the tip on flushing after rain. It makes sense but we growers stress.👍🤣
She's still going strong. I'm giving her her final couple of days flush and thinking Friday will be the day. Getting a mix of clear cloudy and amber tric's so that'll do me. I'll put some pics up soonish.
Ok so some how I've got my weeks wrong according to my calendar I'm at 10weeks but my diary here says 9wks not that it makes any difference. So 10wks it is..I might start flushing at the end of this week but see how they are first.
