Beatrix the Gelato

What a sad week, almost lost poor Beatrix. I made mistakes training the new main colas and weakened them without realizing it. Then one morning the cat startled me, I moved when I should not have moved and one of the branches snapped clean off. It was totally detached. I tried to fix it with duct tape. A few hours later the whole plant began wilting. I was worried I was going to lose the entire plant. The next morning I gave up on the broken branch, and let her put all her energy into the rest...hoping she might recover. After a few days I saw a bit of new growth - she might make it after all.
