This is the beginning of my Northern Lights grow series. I will also post the Zkittlez grow as well. The PPP did germinate but was lost weeks in due to a mite infestation. No Dogs In The Grow Room!!!! :)
I popped 1 seed and it germinated no problem within 24 hours and was planted directly from distilled water, in a shot glass, into a 4.5" pot.
Vigorous growth since day 1! Took less than 10 days to transplant. Once my seeds germinate, I place those small pots on top of where they will be soon. I prep the main pot with distilled water to get it ready for the seedlings. If humidity is an issue, the bottom of a plastic bottle works great to hold that humidity in for the seedlings.
Training really takes well with her. Very tightly stacked nodes. Very strong stalk and inner nodes! Overall height isn't too bad as I train to keep the low and wide. Have only fimmed the main top so far with LST all around.
1 week into flower is when I like to defoliate. I wait until it has fully kicked into flower and take them during the stretch. It helps develop a lot more bud sites as well as keeps bugs away.
So since I do a defoliation after the first week in flower, not much to see this week. But now that I defoliated, time to increase that cola production! Started with 5ml per gallon of Bloom Khaos to really help with growth.
She's really filling out! Colas are swelling. Was bunched up a bit, so had to do some minor lst to open the canopy a bit more. Great air circulation now! Half way done!
This week had a ton of growth!!! Swelling and trichome production was out the roof!! Colas are already hard as rocks and filling more daily! Amazing plant!!!!
She's looking amazing!! Had thought about giving her the chop, but still so much growth happening! She's rated as a 7-9 week plant from Nirvana...Gonna see how long she goes! All of her branches are like carnival style mini baseball bats! Super hard and super dense! For a smaller growing plant, she trained exceptionally well and could out produce my larger Zkittlez...which I'm also doing a diary on here soon.
This is definitely her last week! As you can tell, she's coming down. Scrog nets are removed and ready to go to the dry tent. Currently in dark for 4 days until chopped and hung. I couldn't have been happier with this plant! Amazing genetics! I've never seen bud so dense! No, this was not an auto! Regular photoperiod plant. I'll be doing some hand trimming as well as some bowl trimming with her. Should have an amazing yield!! I'm guessing 8-12oz. Any bets?? :)
