I've started with 4 seeds in soil. After 3 days 3 of them they germinated. The slow one came 1 day later. The grow area is aprox 0,6m².
The lights are Viparspectra's 450w led (2 pieces). 1 Viparspectra draws 200watt true power so there's 400watt shining on the plants.
That's with veg+bloom switch on. The first 3 weeks of vegstage only the veg switch was flipped on. Then I gave them 4 weeks with both switches flipped on. So the first 3 weeks they've got around 200 watt and from then on 400 watt.
You'll notice that I use very small doses of fertilizer & additives. Also the EC is low because I use rainwater(EC of 0,1) & soil that's fertilized for 6 weeks. Once into flower I'll slowly rise the EC, week by week.
This was disaster week! After I've put them in 11L pots, they've started to show burned leaves (well, 2 outa 3).
Guess I've damaged some roots there...
After 46 days of vegging, I've flipped to 12/12.
I didn't wanted to veg to long because of the Sativa dna in this strain. It gets quickly too crowded 😬
The real flowering begins. Canopy spreads practically all over the net.
From this point on I'm going to leave them alone. Saying that they may flower in ease without me pulling the branches through the squares 😏
Week 5 of the flowering stage. Trichomes become more visible, buds developing pretty good 😁
In the start of this week I've added Canna Terra Vega for the last time this round. It's going to be Flores only from now on.(with CannaBoost). Cannazym I give seperatly once a week.
I'll be adding PK 13-14 within a week or so (could be 2).
Week 6 of flowering stage. Some lower fanleaves turn a bit yellow, upper leaves are still ok.
Buds getting bigger day by day and the smell is getting noticeable, not really strong but it's starting.
Week 7 of the flowering stage and buds are stacking up. Lower leaves are turning more yellow, could be some nutrition problem or the lack of light these leaves are receiving. Think it's a bit of both. I'm gonna give them some more nutritions this week anyway.
Week 8 of the 12/12 light cycle. More pistels turning brown, but still a lot white ones and new ones forming.
Buds getting bigger each day, smell is getting more intense. Lower leaves getting more yellow with some purple into them.
Week 10 after the switch. Buds are ripening, trichomes are turning milky. Leaves are showing some beautiful autumn colours 😃
In the start of this week I've added CannaBoost for the last time. At day 66 of flowering I've started flushing with pure rainwater.
Harvest is scheduled at day 77, could be sooner or later, but it will be around that day.
This is the last week for the Liberty Haze. Just waiting for the perfect amount of amber vs milky trichomes.
I'll probably be harvesting the plant on the left first cause she's ripened faster. Then the middle one 2 days later or so and the plant on the right could take some more time. I'll be harvesting that one beginning next week.
I've flushed 14 days with rainwater, so all nutrients are gone. No bad taste left behind.
Liberty Haze is a marvellous strain to grow. Beautiful colours will appear during flowering stage, going from all rasta colours to dark purple leaves. 4 out of 4 seeds germinated within 4 days.
She doesn't need to much nutrions during growing as well in flowering stage. EC-levels never got higher than 1,5. I've used fertilized soil, so if you're a coco or soilless grower you might want to think twice before taking over these EC-levels. 😉
There were no problems with mold or diseases. Just some leaf problems after repotting them, but that was my mistake. I repotted them a bit too soon and they suffered from root damage. But they recovered perfectly within a week.
They're also easy to scrOG and do not stretch to much in the first weeks 2-3 weeks of flowering.
The dominant smell during harvest was fresh lime. The smoke is soft in the throat.
The taste is a bit sweet, lime/lemon with woody undertones & the effects are at first more high in the head and then fades into a relax state of body & mind that lasts pretty long.
The first plant was harvested at 74 days of 12/12. The second one was harvested 3 days later at 77 days and the last one at 79 days. Actual flowering, counted from when the buds formed, took 8-9 weeks.
Final weight of the dried buds was 160 gram or 5.6 oz after 5-6 days of drying in the closet. Curing in jars will take more weeks and will affect the final taste.
Shoutout to the Liberty Ladies!!!! Looking extra sticky man! I can’t imagine how that smell is kicking in with so many dank looking nuggies!!! Happy 4/20 man!
Well - this diary talks by itself.
Nothing more to say than AMAZING
i like your setup
i like your diary, your photoshoots and results are amazing
you are worth the prize.
i had LH a few times in the past,it is one of the most potent strain i knew.
WellDone
@Grow06, Welcome! I'm trying to update 2-3 times a week so you 'll be able to see the whole progress.
This strain also caught my attention, more specifically it's dna. G13 X ChemDawg 91 😋
@@can33333, Nice! Altough I think the purple colour is not strain related. Maybe it got a bit cold?
My previous grow was Purple bud (Sensi Seeds) had 2 of them in the same set-up (and 1 Somango) but none of them turned out purple. Just the Somango got a bit pinky colour. Not bad tough, but you get quickly used to the buzz. Well, I am 😇
