Thanks to the good folks at PEV Seeds. I will try to do their genetics justice. This is my first PEV Seeds grow. I'm excited and can't wait to see how she develops.
She's coming along nicely. Super vigorous growth so far. Of the four varieties I'm growing she is by far the largest girl in the tent. A little weirdness on a leaf. Dry looking spots. Not sure why, but not worried yet.
She's still growing vigorously. Transplanted her to a 4 gallon pot with a coir/perlite mix. The dry brown spots haven't spread so I'm not going to worry about it. Still much larger than the other plants.
She is growing so vigorously and looking so healthy I thought she would be a prime candidate for mainlining. This is only the second time I've mainlined a plant. Worked well the last time. She had the beginning of the sixth node growing. I topped her down to the third node and removed all growth below that. Here's hoping.
She's bouncing back quite nicely after the topping and defoliation. It's always a scary and extreme process. I kept the top portion of the plant that I lopped off. Got her in water with some rooting agent. We'll see what happens.
Well, she's growing really quickly now. My mainlining is looking pretty good. She's the tallest plant in the tent by about three inches. I will be switching her over to a 12/12 light schedule this weekend.
She has grown much taller than I anticipated. Not sure if the main-lining contributed to this or not. Maybe just got a tall pheno. I think she's finally done stretching now.
Nice smoke, but it was such a tall plant that it created problems in my tent. Also, its producing male flowers and knocking up itself and its neighboring plants really made me unhappy. Now I have beany buds and that sucks.
