Nothing special about this week. Dropped seed into small cell pot of fox farms ocean forest and she took of very quickly. Sprayed medium with water mixed with liquid seaweed and urb natural.
Still not much growth. Transplanted into a 7 gallon pot and praying this girl starts looking more promising. Watered with vermisterra earthworm tea to activate the microbes. Fox farms ocean forest soil amended with Azomite, fishbone meal, microryzee and flower girl.
After so much complaining, I finally did some research. LOW PAR!!!!!!!! She was stretching because she was trying to find more light. My goodness. I low stressed trained her all the way down flat. Basically mainlined her but without cutting. Started to move my light down about 5 inches a day and also crank the power up slowly to 100%. Needless to say light was my problem. I moved the light about 20-22 inches from the plant and day by day there was an explosion of growth. Once I felt she was ready I untied her and installed my trellis net. I've been training her branches down daily and am so happy with how she is growing now.
I'm being very consistent with training her under the trellis. I'd say she will be ready for flower in about a week😀😀😀. I'm so happy for how she pulled through my bullshit. Not to mention my 3 year old nephew got in my tent and tore what little leaves she did grow in the beginning. Man this girl is a survivor. Watering every 10 days or so with a light compost tea to keep the microbes on point.
This week has been nice and smooth. Watered her with a special flowering tea and will give it to her for the first 3 weeks. She responded so well to the Scrog training and is stretching nicely.
Very easy week. Fed 2/3 flowering compost tea. My lady is stretching nicely and really enjoying life. I water her with molasses and seaweed every other day.
Fed my girl her last flowering compost tea about 3 days ago. She is absolutely beautiful. Loving her environment and thriving. Bud production looks lovely and even producing tricomes already. I'm very please with this week. Will water with recharge on day 21 and then one last defoliation. Very easy going plant.
This week has been great. Amazing tricome production happening. Everyday the buds get chunkier and chunkier. The plant is extremely frosty. Will get amazing trim for edibles from this. Watered with recharge and will do this once a week until about 3 weeks before harvest. Still watering with molasses and seaweed every other day.
Began flush last week. The colors are so beautiful. The plant is beginning to swell and buds are getting heavy. Had to tie some of them up to help support the weight. Will continue watering with plain ph balanced water.
More of the same. Buds not swelling the way I wanted them to. Starting to realize I pushed this low yeilding plant to it's max. She is not meant to be grown this big seeing as how she is a lower yielding girl. All and all the buds smell amazing and are frosty. Will be chopping her soon. Her tricomes are about 5% amber.
The plant superseded my expectations as far as growing. I made so many mistakes but this plant was able to bounce back. She had a pretty decent stretch but not too bad.
This grow cyle was quite long due to my mistakes in the beginning. Very little par caused my plant to get very thin and lanky. After realizing my mistake my plant quickly bounced back. I may have pushed this plant a bit too hard though. I noticed the buds not getting very big and I believe that was from a low yeilding strain being vegged out too long. Maybe I will use a smaller pot next time I grow this girl and also only veg her for about 30 days. All in all this has been my best grow so far. I am using a cross between Caligreen and Canucks grow as a template.
