Germination
Soaked in tap water for about 15 hours, then put in Root Riot starter cubes that were also soaked in tap water. Germinated in a sunny spot in a dome, with a warming mat. After first serrated leaves appeared, transferred into solo cups of coco coir/perlite and watered with 1/4 dose of nutrients, moved into grow tent with lights at 20% power.

Watering every other day with the suggested week 1 Advanced Nutrients amounts. Had the LED light on 25% at first, but after reading more on this specific light I set it to 100% and 30 inches away. With the light at full power I had some temperature/venting problems which I sorted out. Got a little bit of yellowing at the tips of the leaves at the end of the week but I'm hoping doubling the nutrients for the week 2 amounts will fix it if it's a nutrient deficiency issue. One of the plants that stretched too much during germination got too top heavy and flopped over so I propped it up with some wire.

Waited for the third node to start showing up in the middle of the week and the leaf coverage to reach around the diameter of the solo cups, then transferred to 1 gallon smart pots of coco/perlite mix. Also switched to week 3 nutrients since if anything it looked like the plants were a little deficient up to this point. Buried the stretchy plant deeper in the soil so that the damaged bent part of the stem doesn't take any more abuse from it tipping over, and it looks like it doesn't need the wire to hold it up anymore. Still watering every other day until runoff although it did look like it was drying up a little too quickly right before I transplanted. Overall things look like they are going well, no major issues so far assuming the stretchy one keeps growing fine.

Moved to a slightly bigger tent where I can actually fit both plants in for flowering and upgraded to more powerful LED light. Upped the nutrients to the full suggested level for vegetative cycle and started watering every day. Topped after around the 5th node in the middle of the week and defoliated a few of the old leaves that were stuck down in the shadows at the end of the week. One of the plants seems a little yellow-ish, not sure of the exact cause but hopefully the full nutrients and more frequent watering will help.

They both seem healthy at this point, no obvious signs of deficiencies. They started getting pretty dry in the one gallon containers even with watering once a day, so I moved them to the final five gallon size. I might top one more time this week and then flip to flower.

Topped the two main branches this week, took them a while to recover it seems so not much new growth. Leaves are all looking good still though and watering every day, plenty of room in the tent still. I think I might give them a little more time and defoliate this week before flipping to flower next weekend.

Defoliated heavily early on in the week. A lot of good growth, maybe even getting a little too big considering the flower stretch but we'll see I guess. Both plants looking healthy though and fully recovered from the topping and defoliation. Putting up the scrog net and flipping to flower today so next week will be the first full week of flower.

Flipped to flower right at the beginning of the week. Also installed a scrog net to try to keep both plants lower and wider. It's somewhat hard to fill up the whole square space with two plants but it also leaves plenty of space for the tower fan which is nice. Some of the tips of the leaves yellowed a bit and there are some yellow spots on some leaves as well, possibly due to switching from the vegetation nutrients to the flowering nutrients and the pH going up a little. I have been trying to just stick to the nutrient schedule and not do too much to try to shift things so far so I will just keep going and see if things get better or worse. Getting plenty of growth out of both plants, I will probably need to lift the light up soon.

Getting a lot of good growth as expected in the second week after flipping to flower. All of the leaves look pretty healthy at this point, no obvious signs of deficiencies. It's still a little difficult to keep the canopy at the same height and fill the tent space with just two plants, but most of the bud sites should be getting around the same amount of light with the taller branches on the sides of the tent and the light in the middle. I moved the light up a few inches to keep it at around 12 inches higher than the canopy since there was so much growth this week. I also removed some of the fan leaves, especially the lower ones that are not getting much light, but I tried not to defoliate too heavily at this point since I don't want to stress the plants much during flowering.

More growth this week again, hopefully they won't get too much bigger or I will run out of room to lift up my light. Also the flowering looks great, they have progressed a lot over the past week and a lot of the grow sites that looked like they might get big enough are already looking much more robust. I defoliated more this week than I have been in flower so far, mainly because a lot of the leaves in the interior of each plant were dying off on their own, and there were a decent number of small branches that were never going to be able to reach the canopy and get enough light. No signs of deficiencies at all which is great, and I've hit the max concentration of the flowering nutrients at this point.

Not much change this week, the stretch seems to have slowed down quite a bit. A lot of good flowering happening at this point and it seems like there will be a nice amount to harvest when this is all done. The leaves are thinning out but no major signs of deficiency still. Overall I'm glad I managed to get this far on my first grow without anything major going wrong, hopefully it will keep going smooth all the way to harvest.

Getting good progress with flowering. The trichomes are still mostly clear but some of them are getting cloudy, and no amber ones so far. Some of the big fan leaves are starting to turn brown and get crispy but I think that may just be the plants getting older and I'm going to start reducing the nutrients soon anyway to get ready for flushing.

A lot of the fan leaves are starting to look bad but I'm dropping the nutrients down at this point anyway and will be flushing soon. I might harvest as early as the end of next week since most of the trichomes are cloudy at this point and some are getting amber. Still want to wait on some of the clear ones though. Hopefully the next update will be after harvesting.

Going to go ahead with the harvest today. Flushed this week and the TDS dropped pretty well although I could probably flush more next time. It seems like both plants are in slightly different flowering stages, one has fully cloudy trichomes with a decent percentage of amber and darker hairs, whereas the other one is a mix of fully cloudy and half-cloudy trichomes. But I will harvest them both at the same time for both laziness reasons and because I'm new to this strain so I'm not sure what level would be optimal anyway. I should get way more yield than I need even if I'm not absolutely maximizing THC content. Overall I'm very happy with this as my first ever grow. I still need to figure out the drying/curing process especially since I'm at pretty low humidity indoors this time of year, but I was not sure going into this if I would even get anything usable out of it. I did not run into many issues and even when I did see small signs of deficiency I mainly just tried to keep watering regularly and get plenty of runoff. I definitely learned some things for next time, I will probably be a lot more aggressive with defoliation during the veg stage since the end result was very bushy and I didn't want to mess with it much in flowering. I also will come up with a better germination process since I got a lot of stretch early on before I had the seedlings under a more consistent lighting setup. The pH readings I was getting the whole time seemed high to me and I don't necessarily trust the "pH perfect" stuff to get it exactly right, but on the other hand nothing really went wrong either so I might just keep the nutrients the same next time. For this strain at least it also worked fine doing no LST or anything to affect the shape, and the scrog net system worked fine for getting the canopy to fill up the tent. I'm definitely happy with the amount that just two plants produced in a relatively small tent with a relatively cheap LED light.

Seemed like a good choice for a first grow. Didn't really have to tweak the suggested nutrient schedule very much, and they spread out pretty well without any training. No major issues with the plant health or with herming.

Everything went well considering it was my first grow. I will definitely defoliate more aggressively next time, I knew I would probably not get the best yield but I wanted to avoid stressing out the plants too much for my first time.
