Good start, plant stretched quite a bit at first, might have to do with the genetics but I'm keeping my light slightly high this time as i want a bigger plant. I will start nutrients in week two.
So far so good, everything looks good except the temperature is peaking quite high and is expected to get even higher. I might have to consider a cooler. Started nutes this week, plant is responding well so far, I'm planning to keep it fairly low doses. No surprises so far, textbook grow.
Plant looks very strong, it recovered straight away from topping and trimming. Going to let the branches grow longer a little more and start training this week. So far, everything is straight forward.
Plant is very healthy and I'm attempting some interesting training. I'm having to use wires to hold the big leaves down to allow more light on the canopy. I also topped most of the top of the plant so the bottom can catch up. I'm not sure what this will look like in the end but I'll do some minimal cutting from now and use a scrog net to level the canopy better eventually. Next feed will probably be tomorrow and I'll increase the nutrients level to normal feed, i have been using only low feed so far. I also lowered the light drastically this week where the to of the plant is receiving 35k LUX, it seems to be looking it.
Plant grew exponentially this week, i didn't cut or top anything, it's getting bushy and i just want it to get a little higher to introduce a scrog net. This week, i increased nutes, lowered the light, added a humidifier and started watering more often. Plant looks very healthy. You can also notice in the pictures a head germinating from a sectioned stem, never saw that one before, there's actually two, a second smaller one.
The plant has too many small heads under the canopy that i had to open it up with a scrog net asap. Those are growing very well in the middle of the canopy. Plant is very resilient and healthy, quite easy to manage.
Plant is very healthy still, i defoliated a few days ago and have a few days to recover while i was on holidays to come back to a fully refoliated plant, I've trimmed again, will give one day to recover and put in flower tomorrow.
I moved the plant to the flowering stage about 4 days ago and still no pistils. But plant seems to be stretching faster. Having to trim almost every two days and watering has also increased respectively. Will introduce a second scrog net soon, just letting the plant take some more height. So far so good
Growth is still going strong, i think the stretch phase begun and it's just going up now. I started seeing pistils after 10 days. Trying to not trim leaves but the plant is just too bushy, I'm having to do it almost every second days. Not doing much at the moment, just letting the plant do it thing and it seems to be going well. Still too early to add a second scrog net for support, may be in two weeks.
Plant is still going strong, is not missing anything it seems. It is stretching well, feeding on more water which is all expected. More and more pistils buildup everyday. I introduce the second net, not to even the canopy but to support some big branches on the sides that were not getting enough light, i also cleaned up the top to ensure they are all receiving a reasonable amount of light. Everything looks alright so far, I'm going to change nutes next time.
I'm not having much time for the plant at the moment, just managing to water it on time everytime. I also changed nutrients last feed and i started very low, will gradually increase. I mistakenly feed the plant pk with vega the feed before, no problem to report. Plant is growing wonderfully, i thought it finished growing but I've seen more growth over the last few days. I'll have to raise the top net accordingly. The small is not very strong however when the trichomes smell good lemon. I'm so satisfied with this grow.
Still going strong, plant started showing some burns at the tip of the leaves. I get that everytime, doesn't get any worst. Let me know if you know what's causing it. Increased dosage of nutes may have contributed. Microscopic image of the trichomes shows that they are mostly clear. Just a few in the big leaves are turning closely. Looks like plant is on track, probably one or two more weeks with nuts and then 2 full weeks of flush. I'm almost there, just a matter of time until i can enjoy those sticky buddy.
Red trichomes started showing since last water. Next water i will start the flush for two weeks. I'm going to harvest right on time instead of being greedy and push it a little more. It's probably going to swell up over the next two weeks.
I've started the flush with flawless finish and doing a full in flush every single water. I'm aiming for smoothness and not quantity, I'm already happy with where it's at atm. I think there's one last week, but from Saturday, I'll start inspecting the trichomes on a daily basis.
Harvest was alright, didn't water the plant for 5 days before harvest, and with the flush, it didn't take long for the buds to dry. I'm now curing. I got 150+ grams but i expected more from this plant but I'm satisfied. Vaped it already and I'm unsure if the high, still trying to figure it out.
@Smokwiri, thanks mate, it's stretching good and pistils increasing on a daily basis. Hoping it takes some more height in the next few days but I'm very satisfied thanks
@heizen, thanks, appreciate your comment. I've introduced a scrog net this week, the plant is very resilient, making it very easy for me. This grow is a lot of fun, good genetics.
