Im growing these in promix and have given light teas a couple of times. They are on day 33 in the pictures and the last time I gave a tea was day 26. It gave a couple some nute burn and so am only going to give water for the next 4-5 feedings. Plan is to change to HPS at 7 weeks. Giving High N teas till week 7 as well that are roughly 4-1-3 from TLO style by The Rev. Dont know if these look good for 4+weeks and wondering why their is so much difference in the PE's. I know Genetics but I thought good breeders stabilize somewhat in the autos now. Just wondering how these are looking and if you think I need to change anything. Appreciate the feedback

Do you know why all the Pineapple Express in the bottom row are so different? Is this expected in Auto's?

During the end of the plants life cycle you will see lots of vibrant colors. Ever look at trees in the fall? All the leaves turn yellow, red, well this is basically the same thing that happens to Cannabis. When they flower, the plant things its life is ending soon. The plant basically think's its entering fall season, it will change color leaves, they will fall off, and you are now at your harvest window. Leaves in your photo look very crispy as well. Does your light have a good distance between the plant? Looks like it may be a little close, again just a guess. Another thing to remember when you see these colors is to be mindful of your flush. Did you start your flush yet? If so this could have kickstarted your color change as the flush removes salts and other minerals such as Nitrogen. Once this is removed you will see a rapid change in color and is helpful for creating a smooth smoke! Hope this helps!

Every seed is so different even amongst the same strain from the same set. You could do 3 pineapples and they may all turn out completely different. A bit frustrating really. Your bud sites are looking good, but could you not lower the light hours maybe to 15 and see if that gives her a little break and also a flower stretch?

These are photos from day 39 so I guess this is week 6. unfortunately I found this site too late but will post a full grow next time. They look quite good but I have noticed a lot of yellowing starting in lower fan leaves. I took these pics after feeding and i;m getting a little concerned about the brown bits in the yellowing leaves. I am also concerned about height as some are still quite small. Hopefully these sprout up in the coming week before I switch to HPS light in day 42. Just wondering if you guys though these are still looking good. Also, I added cyclorganic by millinator to the tea this time at a very small dose as I treated it like a "full" fertilizer that is already in the recipe. The recipe I showed there is what I add to 1.5gal and then bubble for 24hrs before diluting to 3gal. My purified water comes from the cold water so I let it warm for 2hrs at RT in the grow room so I dont shock the roots. Anyone ever used cyclorganic? This will be the last veg tea and the next tea will be a flowering tea. I am going to see how they react to this tea and then decide when I will give the flowering tea. Appreciate the feedback if anyone has comments concerns.

Kinda worried about all the yellowing I have seen and the fact that a lot of these are quite short. Not sure if I affected them by perhaps not providing enough nutrients. I saw some burn on the edges in week 4-5 so I have water for 4 waterings straight and I think I may have caused nitrogen deficiency. I have been feeding teas since and changed to flowering tea now. I checked PPM when I did last veg tea and it was 330 which would I think be in the right range for autos as you try and do 1/2-1/4 of recommended amount. I forgot to check the flowering tea but will do so next time I make it. going to do as it is recommended and see what ppm is and how they react. I added recipe above and it is for 1gal which you dilute to 2 after 12-24hrs bubbling. I make 3 gal total and give 1-2L depending on size of plant. usually dries up in 2 days where I feed again. I also changed to HPS on day 42 and to 18hr. I know Auto's dont react too much about 20 or 18hr schedule from what I have read but I wanted to give them a little more rest time while they are flowering. I would appreciate any feedback as I would like to know if I messed up or not. Im fully willing to learn so dont hold back lol Thanks again for any feedback. I truly appreciate it Cheers

This is Day 52 and I have started to feed them more food in the teas. I analyzed the NPK of the flower tea I was making and it was 2.23-1.3-1.7. Obviously this was too low as it was giving me really low ppm as well. I looked around at organic flowering liquid fertilizers and they were about 2-8-4. Therefore I added individual components so the tea had about 185ml of mix per 3 gallons. This is now giving it about 1100ppm. I should mention I am writing this about 8 days later. long story. So prior to this it was receiving about 600ppm. Ill follow up how they are now in the next week post. So I definitely messed them up by not paying enough attention to what I was doing and checking the NPK of the teas I was making and not putting together a better soil. Certainly a learning experience. However it has taught me a lot so in the end I think its worth it...... They are definitely suffering from N deficiency so I am going to give an organic 5-1-1 fish fertilizer with it's full recommendation as it says to only do so every 3 weeks. If it looks like it needs it again I will do so. I also think that because of this I cant accurately tell how much variation was the pheno's vs damage from N deficiency. However youll see from the pics for next week they are looking pretty frosty so I may have rescued in time to still produce something nice. Just at a much lower amount. I appreciate everyones feedback as it put me on the right track to see what I was doing wrong and take the steps to fix it. Cheers

These are day 60 here so getting close. Some are still looking a little rough but most of the buds are looking nice and frosty. I am giving a custom tea every feeding right now that has about 1100ppm. It is around 2-7-4 if my math was right, I posted the recipe as well. Debated giving a bloom fertilizer but I figure it may be too late for that. I can see a lot of green coming back int the veins of most leaves, Dont want to over do it though so last time I am giving them the 5-1-1. Looks like it did the job though. Blue Dream #1 and PE#2 have a lot of yellow leaves so I hope those make it. Apart from those though my only concern is how skinny Blue Dream #2 is. Probably not going to get much from her.... Not sure if you think their is anything else I can do at the moment. Always open to suggestions so thanks in advance. Cheers

These pics are all day 70 and we are now on day 71. So it looks like I should be close to harvesting some and I would appreciate some feedback on when to harvest. I know it is more of a personal choice at times but I guess I just want to confirm that. I think PE1, AB1 and BD1 are pretty close if not there. They dont have many amber trichomes so was wondering if I should wait for a certain ratio. I do like the more uplifting so I dont think I want many amber trichomes. However, I have read that they contain more CBD which I am nor sure is correct as I thought that was more strain dependent. CBD does help me relax and help with anxiety though..... All are getting water now except for BD2 and AB3. These are clearly not ready and I am still feeding until I see them develop close to 20-30% red hairs. Does that sound right? For an all organic grow I am somewhat happy. I learned a lot and although I would have liked a better yield it looks like the quality will be there and I am super excited to see what all organic grow tastes like. If it wasnt for you guys I would have likely failed so I really appreciate everyones help. Thanks again and as always I appreciate your feedback and input. Cheers!

Harvestes 4 so far as the trichomes were all cloudy. Other ones look like they will be ready in 4 days and then their is a Blue Dream that looks like it is 2 weeks away. Crazy for an auto but I am not complaining as it is getting big and full!

So this is the first harvest of two Blue Dream seeds I grew and it looks amazing. These pics are right at harvest and it has been drying for 72hrs now. The smell is really unique and Im super curious to see what the flavours and buzz are like. The second Blue Dream still has a bit to go and I wonder if it is the growing technique rather than the variation. It looks like it will be the biggest out of all of them. Already tried the Pineapple Express plant #1 and Auto Berry plant #1 and they are so flavorful and smooth. Will never grow anything other than organic after this experience. So hard waiting for the dry and cure but I know it will be worth it. Once again got you guys to thank for the tips and getting me back on the right track. Got some TLO soil waiting for the next round and am going to experiment with some other organic mixes I have read about on grasscity forum. Appreciate all the kind words and wish I could share some of these nugz with you guys Cheers

Thanks for the replys and thoughts. I elevated the smaller ones to get closer to the light as one PE monster in the bottom left was so tall compared to others. and in case some were cold although it is a carpeted floor..... I have been careful not to overwater and i let the bags basically completely dry out before watering again. It was 1L every3-4 nights but they are drinking more now so I am going to go to 2L and no more. And will water based on needs and not schedule. I think it is overfeeding as I have read autos are very sensitive and you need to do 1/4-1/2 what is recommended. I am doing all organic as I have just given teas a couple of times at 1/2 recommended dose. looks like this was even too much and will do 1/3 next time. I can see edges of leaves "burn" a bit so its why i think its that rather than overwatering..... but it is my first so Im taking everything into consideration. Thanks again for the feedback and please dont hesitate to let me know if their is anything else I should be doing/trying. Cheers

@Dre11, Hey dude, the reason why I suggested they look overwatered is because of the way the leaves are drooping, if the whole leaf stem (petiole) is bending down, this is because the leaf contains too much water and is being weighted down at the tips. Overall they all look really healthy. The plant at the front left looks how they should all look in terms of leaf position. At the front right of your tent it looks like you have a heater? Where is the intake for your tent? is that also at the front left!? If you're growing organically you shouldn't have a problem with overfeeding as the nutrients need to be broken down before the plant absorbs them and in this case it she will only absorb what she needs. Naturally it's up to you the decisions you make, again they look great you just need to make sure you don't do anything drastic like flushing the medium👍🏼

Thanks for the feedback guys! So day 69 today and this is when the pineapple express should be finished. Checked trichomes on most advanced and dont see any brown ones yet. just mostly cloudy. Gonna wait till I see about 10% darken and then will cut. One of the Blue Dreams is much more advanced than the other so will monitor that one as well. Started it on water and still giving the other one nutes as it is still developing from what I can see. Ill post more pictures tomorrow to show this. still amazed at the variation with all the lines I used this time. My bad for not using Cal-mag or equivalent throughout the grow. Thought it would get it from ground oyster shell and azomite. Doesnt seem like it was broken down enough for them to use though. Having said that though it is curious that some show this deficiency and other dont. Would appreciate your advice later as well on harvesting as perhaps some are ready now. I am in no huirry and just want to do it at the right time. I have made my "Living Soil" the other day and waiting for it to cook over the next month for my outdoor babies. Followed the TLO book exactly so looking forward to this as I should not have to make any teas unless I see some deficiency. Gonna start those babies soon inside and hopefully this Canadian weather makes up its mind so I can get them outside! As always thanks for your advice and ill get those pictures up soon. Cheers

Hey Pharma, Good to know about overwatering and will definitely keep my eye on it. At the front right I have a humidifier as it generally is about 25% without it, Though it only gets it to about 35 so not sure how needed it is. No heater though as I find the heat from the lamp is enough to keep it around 24 and it only lowers to about 18 at night. The right side bottom flap is open and is where the fresh air comes in. I dont have an intake that is forcing air in. Ya wont be flushing unless I see something that needs drastic measures but if that happens it may be too late as you dont have a ton of time to recover with auto's. Giving a tea today and will see how they react. Thanks again for the feedback! Please dont hesitate to suggest anything if you see something I have missed. Cheers!

I only just realised you have been putting your feed regime in the pictures 😬 As long as you don’t feed too much N Through the duration of flower it’s fine. If you ever see yellow in the first few weeks of flower give them a veg feed, it’s no problem. I’ve done it many times, I’d rather have a little def than a toxicity any day. As @Humboldt_Seed_Organisation said feed them N, Calcium and magnesium in a higher% it should be used from veg to flower helps with stems, branches, transport of nutrients around the plant... Feed until the last 2-3 weeks. Though Some of the plants are clearly ahead of others. Buds grow in stages, don’t feel like you have to stop feeding once Brown hairs develop. Aside from yellow leaves everything Looking good dude✌️🏻

@Dre11, for optimal harvest window you would be better going of trichome colour and development my friend and not the pistol colour :) Some strains pistils can turn orange/Brown quite early. This does not confirm that the plant is finished just maturing ;) Do you have access to a microscope to check trichome development out? Blue dream sure did get huge mate ;) Nice work! Kind regards Mark..

@Humboldt_Seed_Organisation_Seed_Organisation, Thanks! Super excited to try the finished product and experiencing some other Auto's from your crew Ill posted some of the second one as well. It is still probably 2+ weeks away from harvest but gonna be huge I think if they swell up like this one did. Out of curiosity, since it seems growing form seeds youll get some variability from plant to plant, is their something you notice on them that gets you to start flushing? Ive still been giving her a soluble kelp and high P guano Tea with molasses added. Added cyclorganic a week ago as well in a tea.... With the others I just started when 50% of the hairs were orange....

@PharmaZ, Hey thanks for this. Once I saw they were all cloudy I harvested. The Pineapple #1 is an awesome high. Not heavy at all which is what I like. The Auto Berry taste and smell are amazing but it is a little heavier than what I would prefer unless I am having trouble sleeping! Barely any amber trichs on PE but there is maybe 5% on the AB.....

@Experimentgreen, Thanks! Onlyt got 25.5, 30, 32 and 38 from the 1st 4 I harvested. Dry/cured weight. Figured it would be low but not disappointed as the quality is there and it was a huge learning experience. Appreciate the kind words!

For 45 days in your showing some nice bud development but to me (and this is just my opinion) your plants look hungry. Personally I would increase feed and introduce more nitrogen and calcium into your nutrient feed :) Apart for that progressing well :) Nice update I'll check you out on the next :) Kind regards Team- HSO..

Hey Dre what’s up? I would say that 300ppm is way to low at this stage. You want to be feeding at least 500 no more than 800 will be fine for the whole grow till flush, the bigger they are the more they need. But as you were feeding plain water with no nutrients the soil has nothing to work with. Organic you feed the soil not the plant remember you generally use a higher volume of organic nutrients because they do not contain strong chemical forms of what the plant needs. Your pineapple with the odd leaves that looks like Phosphurus def coupled with N def. you need to feed all your plant👍🏼
Humboldt_Seed_Organisation
Nice to see our Auto blue dream in your grow room and from what I can see she is performing very well indeed :) Now I've found your diary I'll keep dropping by to see how things are going :) So far very nice work :) Kind regards Team-HSO..

@Dre11 Make sure you move/switch/rotate your plants frequently so they can all enjoy every area, and wont stay too long in corner/shadow. However it’s a normal thing to see different phenotypes for the same strain. Seeds does not share the same parents. I’ll be around, enjoy your beautiful harvest!! 👊

They are running out of steam so I would increase ppm to 1400 for 10 days the cut it back in prep for a 10 day flush. This will take you to 80 days total which is perfect :) Some maybe finished sooner for this I would recommend that you check trichome colour and development for the optimal harvest window (for you) Kind regards Team-HSO...
