Seems to be a week behind the Northern Lights, but that makes sense. Flowering for the Candy Kush is 60 - 70 days, whereas the Northern Lights is 50 - 60 days.

I know the plants need a wet/dry cycle in order to keep the chances of mold to a minimum. My question is, how dry? If I stick my finger in an inch and it's just slightly damp, but still a bit heavy, do I water? Do I wait till the top soil looks dry?

early on, i'd wait... later on when it can actually drink a quarter of the weight in day, i'll consider convenience, maybe water in evening. Or, will i wake up in time in morning before it wilts? lol... rather it not wilt, personally. Learn the weight of a dry pot. Start learning how much the plant drinks relative to size... being consistent with size of plant, pot used etc can make it second nature.

Started LST this week. After a few hours they already looked to start growing upward. Now feeding every day but in smaller quantities. Should be able to keep the nutrient balance right in the media without lockout. Looking forward to explosive growth.

LST - How far down should I pull the stems? If the leaves touch the media, too far? Try and go down as far as possible without breaking? Or just as long as the upper leaves aren't casting shade below?

My rule of thumb is to bend them to the edge of the pot. I would recommend putting a tie around the base though - opposite the direction you are bending - to support the base and the root structure. The idea is for the stem to bend, not for the plant to uproot or tip over. As for leaves touching the media, it's okay, as the leaves will usually perk right back up within the day.

Couldn't find time to LST them as much as they need. Ended up snapping the top half of one of the plants, luckily it's still slightly attached... Not sure what to expect from that plant, but live and learn. The main stalks are very strong and thick, so next time i need to make sure to move just the top inch of it when tying down. Overall, I'm happy with their growth and recovery. Moved the light down a bit to get more light to them. I think they're about to be in pre-flower, but not sure what to look out for to know they've reached that stage.

Added the scrog. Seeing a little bleaching and brown spots on some of the leaves. Not sure what it is... Going to post a question about it though and see if I can get some feedback.

Seeing brown spots on the leaves. Assuming it's a calcium deficiency. Added another ml/gal of Cal-Mag for the daily feeding. Besides that, what else could it be? Also, at what point do you water plants in coco twice a day?

That looks like some older growth. New growth will show you if a problem has been corrected. Old damaged leaves won't fix. As long as it's not spreading and it's only one that one or two older leaves I'd just keep going. 🤘😤
