So this is my first time doing clones myself. I decided to use aeroponics for cloning. To me, it just seems simple. I did let the water sit for 24hrs before using it. I also added the nutrients listed above to it. The reservoir holds 3 gallons of water. That puts the water below the misters and gives plenty of water around the pump so it doesn't get too hot. On Sunday I cut the clones from the 8 plants in my other grow, 2 per plant for a total of 16 clones. The clones wilted at first but within a couple of hours, you could see life coming back into them. After 24hrs they were all up and looking pretty good. On Wednesday I changed out the water, added the same nutrients as listed above plus Fox Farms Wholly Mackerel, 1.25ml/gal. ***24/7 light using agrobrite 13"x21" 100w FL fixture, 8" above the top of the clones ***24/7 misters ***Water temp is taken in the mist, not the tank water itself. Mist is staying a constant 78*F ***Using the Fox Farms feeding schedule for the most part Germination week ended on 11/21/20 with no roots showing

After the germination week ended with no roots, I decided to change the water out. I removed all nutrients from the water and just correct the ph. The clones still appeared healthy and the stems were not soft or rotten feeling in any way. By the end of this week, 11/28/20, there were still no roots showing at all. I decided to change my method used and get away from the aeroponics unit. I had obviously done something wrong I felt like. I got some Vita Grow Rooting Compound, recut the stems, trimmed the leaves up more, then dipped and planted each clone into peat pellets. I also grabbed 6 more clones from the plants before they flower, cut, dipped, and planted them into solo pint cups with mild dirt, and got them under a light. We shall see how it goes, keeping my fingers crossed.

Nothing to really report for week 3. The original 16 clones are looking bad but I'm still holding out a little hope. The 6 clones that went straight to soil in the pint cups are looking good. Gonna remove the domes for 20min up to 2 hours and see if they wilt or not. If they wilt I will spray mist them again and put the domes back on. If they don't wilt, then I'll leave the domes off and see how they do.

So the original 16 are still holding themselves up, so I'm holding out some hope. The newer 6 are looking good. They started showing signs of what I believe was light bleaching, so I moved the light up to 16" above them and the discoloring in the leaves stopped.

Started off week 4 on Sunday. Nothing much to report. On Monday I figured I had nothing to lose, so I trimmed pretty much everything off of the original 16 clones. Hoping they would really try to just grow roots. In the mid part of the week, all the clones were getting dry and needing water so I was just misting the dirt each day. On Saturday I figured that I needed to just trench the soil again but this time with just a small amount of nutrients. So I added a half dose of Big Bloom and Kangaroots and Ph'd the water. We shall see how they do.

Not much to report for Sunday and Monday. I just gave them all a misting twice a day. On Tuesday I gave the original 16 just a little PH'd only water. On Wednesday it was just a misting for all of them. On Thursday I gave the original 16 a half does of Big Bloom and Kangaroots. The other 6 in the pint cups I gave the same but also added a half dose of Boomerang and Wholly Mackerel. They seem to be doing fine. The original 16 I think are a lost cause, not sure why I keep watering them, but who knows, maybe I'll get one or two out of it. But the 6 in the pints cups are doing fine with new growth on them. I think this next week I'm going to try and get them under their own light and get them moving forward. I think they are going to be ok.

The original 16 clones have pretty much all died. There are about 3 that look like they might make it, maybe a couple of others, but they are long shots at best. These other six clones are looking good and I'll probably start a separate grow diary for them. Because of the timing of the grows in my room coming up, I may have to keep these 6 clones in veg for the next 4 to 12 weeks. Just depends on what happens in my room but I'm thinking 12 weeks or even more. That should be interesting. On Sunday I just gave them all a light misting. On Monday I watered the original 16 with nutrients. Tuesday the newer 6 clones in the red pints got watered with nutrients and a foliar feed. Nothing but a misting on Wednesday. Thursday the original 16 got watered again. Friday the newer 6 got watered. On Saturday they all got a small foliar feeding with Flower Kiss. I didn't add it to the nutrients above because it was a very minor amount.

On Sunday I just watered them with pH water. Misted twice on Monday. Foliar feed with Flower Kiss on Tuesday, mist Wednesday. On Thursday I foliar fed again and transplanted the 3 good clones from the original bunch into solo cups. Misted twice on Friday. On Saturday I fed them all the seedling/cutting nutrients at 1/2 strength along with CaliMagic. The old leaves I'll trim off soon. Still waiting to transplant these into larger pots. Not sure of the next size, I may move up to 1-gallon pots next. Try to keep them small and growing slow if I can.

These little clones are doing pretty good. On Monday I waters with full strength nutrients. They looked good on Tuesday so I trimmed off the older yellow leaves. On Wednesday and Thursday some signs of nutrient burn showed up. On Saturday when I watered I dropped the nutrients back to half strength. I think I'll probably top or FIM the larger 6 clones this next week. Still trying to decide which one I want to do.

Not much this week. Kept up with a misting twice a day. They didn't need water until Thursday and I decided to give them a week off from nutrients and give them just pH'd water. Same day I topped the bigger six clones. The other three clones got topped on Sunday, which is really next week, but I didn't get pics until after they got topped. The bigger six definitely responded well to getting topped.

Gave them some water on Monday with 1/2 strength of nutrients from Fox Farms. At the end of the week, I decided that it was time to transplant them. Soon I'll be drying and trimming another grow and remodeling my grow room, and I wanted to get this done while I had some free time still. So on Saturday I did the transplanting into 3 gallon plastic pots figuring that I might transplant again into larger fabric pots later on. After I was done transplanting I went ahead and mixed up half doses of nutrients. I am switching nutrient lines to General Hydroponics FloraNova 2-part Grow and Bloom with Floralicious, Liquid KoolBloom and CaliMagic. I used the General Hydroponics nutrient calculator to come up with a simple schedule and I'll be using that. I used a 1/2 gallon of water per plant when watering and wow!!! it was amazing how well it drained compared to my other grow using just Ocean Forest by itself. I'm very happy with the soil mix so far. Soil mix: 50% Mother Earth Groundswell 35% Happy Frog 15% #2 Perlite
