14 day from open packet pretty impressive growth thus far. Up till now always grow in coco, soil seems to be providing fast and strong growth. No additional nuits given just tap water at 6.5ph.
Healthy growth continues with very little in put from me. Plants are getting .5L of tap water every 2 to 3 days as needed. Plan to move into final pots this week a 20L airpot, but the grow room is a bit crowded at the moment. The big plant is a lovely looking whitewidow with a few weeks left and a funny dwarf Cheese that I'll cut in a few days to make space for the fastbuds seeds to upgrade into their larger pots.
Week 3
Day 22, moved into final pot a 20L airpot, probably slightly delayed by a couple of days but I was holding on for a royal cheese that I was flushing before harvest to allow space.
Continued with 75/25 ratio of soil/vermiculite, running side by side experiment with difference between vermiculite and peritle to see how it affects drainage/grow conditions.
Day 28
Great growth over last 7 days, Brita of a PH being to high, will adjust over next few days. Pistils just starting to grow.
Do you think this is Nitrogen toxicity? I'm going in soil that has pre-added nuits, so only giving plant water PH6.5
Considered raising PH to 7 to reduce absorption, or should I just continue and plant may get use to the medium?
Although clawed tips of leaves is usually nitrogen toxicity, yours does not have the burnt tips to go along with that assumption. Did you check the ph of the new soil before planting? The brown spots on your leaf looks like a ph caused spot. Best to check the runoff water for ph and check the ec as well.
Going well really strecting loads doing 4-6cm in a day. Done some more LST probably enough now, getting SOG effects without the screen. Stems on these are thicker than I've grown before maybe it's the soil
Beginning to develop buds, LST paid off now have nice wide crown and lots of exposed bud sites.
Did some defloation on lower stems and plucked off the mini buds site close to the bottom of the plant.
Think the tents is a bit tight for all these plants, this plant would use half the space giving the chance.
Posting 3 days late was away for a few days, some small issues with PH from my watering care taker but going well.
Added some biobizz top max to water yesterday, being new to hot-mix soil don't want to go over board with nuits but also want dense buds.
Did some defoiation of the lower buds sites that were in the dark.
