Week 3
Day 22, moved into final pot a 20L airpot, probably slightly delayed by a couple of days but I was holding on for a royal cheese that I was flushing before harvest to allow space.
Continued with 75/25 ratio of soil/vermiculite, running side by side experiment with difference between vermiculite and peritle to see how it affects drainage/grow conditions.
Day 28
Great growth over last 7 days, Brita of a PH being to high, will adjust over next few days. Pistils just starting to grow.
Do you think this is Nitrogen toxicity? I'm going in soil that has pre-added nuits, so only giving plant water PH6.5
Considered raising PH to 7 to reduce absorption, or should I just continue and plant may get use to the medium?
Although clawed tips of leaves is usually nitrogen toxicity, yours does not have the burnt tips to go along with that assumption. Did you check the ph of the new soil before planting? The brown spots on your leaf looks like a ph caused spot. Best to check the runoff water for ph and check the ec as well.
