Starting these Autoflowers in glasses of water for 15-20hrs, then will go in a paper towel for another 15-20hrs before potting into small pots so they can grow a bit before transplanting into final pots. Will only be giving dechlorinated two water for the first week or so.
UPDATE - November 21st All have sprouted and doing great.
Officially started veg(full fan leaf) on 3rd December.
Topped them when they hit the 5th node. Transplanted them all also today(6th).
All look well, will be watching them for the next few days.
Update: Started LST on all girls and they are already showing vigorous growth.
Week 2 of veg and these girls have started to really grow!! Keeping up with LST as I know these can be really big girls.
No defoliation yet, will do just before flower.
UPDATE: LST everyday in preparation for them to switch. Only tucking leaves atm.
Will defoliate and lollipop by the end of the week.
UPDATE: the girl are showing me their sex with the pistil hairs coming out. They’ll be starting there stretch in the next day or so.
I also broke a stem clean off which I’m very annoyed about as it was because I simply wasn’t thinking. UPDATE: The stem has bounced back and is growing good now. Leaves on that stem look abit ruined but I’m guessing that she took the energy from the leaves and just directed it the recovery of the node.
All girls have started their transition 😁
All but one has started stretching also. I have defoliated and lollipopped only what I deemed unsatisfactory popcorn nodes. The structure on all of them through the LST’ing previous are great and I’m very happy starting the flower process.
Now the real work begins.
Girls are doing great except for one 😔. She had a stunted growth and now the other girls tower over her.
Nevertheless they are all going well through their cycle. The smell is strong already and I’m happy.
UPDATE: Girls are looking healthy and amazing. Unfortunately the girl that stunted has now been towered over completely so therefore will not live up to expectations 😔. But the other girls are bigger then I thought they would be! So I’m hoping on an increased yield in them.
Girls are doing great. Little nutrient burn but nothing too bad. One of them had a calcium deficiency but foliar sprayed and got ontop of it.
Let’s go with Week 4 of flower!!
