Broke the soil 11/26. Starting off the same as any other. Going to start feeding/ foliar spraying come week 2, both of my other girls this cycle took it very well. Water pH 6.3, EC 0.1. Feed pH 6.2, EC 0.41.
Following a feed and foliar she doubled in size! Everything looking good so far. She’s starting to pick up speed here approaching 2 weeks old. Feed pH 6.2, EC 0.41. Microbial pH 6.5, EC 0.47.
Started some minor leaf tucking this week. More foliar sprays and feeds! Started foliar spraying daily and increasing feed strength. Feed pH 6.2, EC 0.44. Flush pH 6.0, EC 0.35.
After a long time of growing very slowly she’s starting to blow up! Got her trained out, and the side branches are getting longer already. Feed pH 6.2, EC 0.6.
Was sick for a few days so forgot to update, but she’s still going strong! I’ve been much better able to pull out branches and defoliate to reveal flowering sites in the last week as she has stretched. Probably going to end up a lil squat plant, but I’m excited nonetheless! Feed pH 6.1, EC 0.98.
She’s been stretching out and shooting out flower sites like crazy over the last few days, and she’s finally taking shape! Looking like she’s gonna be one big flowering site after all in said and done, and I don’t think I mind that! Flush pH 6.2, EC 0.35.
She’s finally starting to flower! With no effort at all on my part all the leaves around the flowers and the pistils themselves have taken on a purple hue; likely genetic and highly exciting! Been feeding heavy as can be and she’s eating it up. I have to go in every other day or so to defol just to keep airflow and light penetration on bud sites throughout the whole plant. She’s turned into a little bush of flowering sites. Decided to stretch her apart one last time as the trichomes are coming on quick and flowering sites turning purple. Feed pH 6.3, EC 1.7. Microbial pH 6.5, EC 0.6.
She’s been steadily blooming! As she’s gets thicker and thicker her calyxes show off just how much purple they have in them. Still going in often to trim her up and give her room to breathe. Feed pH 6.3, EC 1.9.
She’s been stacking up lil chunky colas nicely! Very good trichome coverage and terps as well! I’m really enjoying the ease and joy of growing Mephisto strains so far. Moving faster than even my blueberry that’s two weeks ahead!
Slowly but surely these purple, chunky buds have taken shape! Plus they’re hard as a rock, and they smell like cologne and sweet fruity candy. Extremely excited to chop her down within the next couple weeks as she ripens.
She started out pretty slowly, but blew up around preflower. Soon her side branches has matched the canopy, and soon after that every flowering site had matched the canopy. Crazy density and trichome coverage, all the buds turned either a deep purple or pink hue. Smells like fruity candy and floral cologne. Will not train her next time around, just let her do her thing since she’ll stay naturally short.
