First time grower, long time smoker... so far so good... all 5 have popped out of the ground.. the longest tap roots popped out the ground first with in 24 hrs...the very next day the second one popped up... when I woke up on day 3 all were popped up out of the dirt... the tent runs 70-74 degrees with humidity just under 50%... I’m excited for this journey that awaits hopefully I can get some help from this post... no questions yet but I’m sure there will be plenty to come
12 hrs it makes a week since the seeds were planted in the dirt... the first 5 days I watered them twice a day bc I didn’t want them to dry out bc that light dries up the dirt quick being 1000w.. cut down to watering once a day when I get up and it seems to being doing ok... I’m growing in black and gold natural and organic potting soil with 25% perlite... with that being said when does everyone think I need to start with nutrients???? I have the big 3 from fox farms ( grow big, tiger bloom, and big bloom).. my plan as of right now is to hold off til they r a lil bigger, I was thinking of starting nutrients when they turn 2 weeks old... when I do start them I’m thinking 1/8-1/4 strength... what do u think???
So we r 2 weeks in the dirt today... I’m gonna wait a couple more days before I water with small amount of nutrients bc I don’t want to hurt my little girls.. it’s crazy the growth that happened this week... it really started taking off on popping out new leaves... is it safe to say some vertical growth will come this week with all the new leaves soaking up the light??? Is the tips pointing up on the leaves a bad thing???
Nothing really exciting this week other then giving it nutrients for the first time and burning 2 out of 5 plants.. on a better note I noticed something the other day on one of the plants I think is a pistil... so if it is a pistil that would make it female right?? Last question when I’m saying days on my plant should it be from when I planted it in the dirt or when it sprouted up???
