Hello there!
I wasn't able to start that diary earlier so we start from week 3.
It's day 20 today, i just added humidifier yesterday as I had humidity issues, you can see leaves are wrinkled a little.
Except that she's doing very well, very vigorous strain.
Hi there! I had no electricity for 4hr this morning. Is that can indicate flowering on my plant or cause any other problems? It's 3rd week of veg now, normally plant has 18hr of light, today only 14hr.
Your goodπ As long as she had more then 12hrs of light it shouldnβt trigger flowering. Next time this happens if you are aware of it at the time you can add some high power flashlights over them to keep the light going. I actually have a UPS backup power supply bar on both my tents that power all my pumps for my RDWC and also a couple of lower powered compact led lights that I can power up off them in the event of a power outage. Always a good idea to have a power backup of some kind for just these occasion. Cheersπ¨
Hi there!
Guys I'd like to ask you what's the best time to start feeding plant with nutrients for blooming in your opinion. Just after you switch the lights to 12/12 or when plant produced first preflowers? What can give better results?
I wait til i see the first sign of pistils before introducing bloom nutes. I use green leaf bud explosion using the K.I.S.S. Method ( keep it simple stupid) not saying that to you. Lol
Hello everyone. Exactly 2 weeks ago I switched lights to 12/12, I found 1st preflowers yesterday. My question is how much more she can stretch yet? She doubled her size in 1 week, I got like 30cm left for my light. What to do if she won't stop stretching? Can I still supercrop?
Pre-flower stretch usually lasts about 1-2 weeks so you're probably nearing it's end (considering she also doubled her size).
if she still rapidly stretches you can try more tying and spreading for more lateral growth, it might be difficult with the limited space you have so be careful!
Super-Cropping is a HST (High Stress Training) which means it'll cause immense stress on your plant and may stunt growth for a few days before it becomes beneficial, this may be manageable while in veg but when flowering it most likely will harm your plant and diminish yields.
I do not recommend Super-Cropping after 1-2 weeks before flowering is induced!!
You can also check my Super-Cropping experience in my Diary and get an idea of what it is.
Hope this helps! Good luck and happy growing :)
@TrilliumTrichomes, humidity without humidifier was 45% and you can see looking at the plant that it was to low. I'm still working on set up of humidifier as I installed it yesterday, it's around 60% now.
