Banana Blaze Auto - First Grow Strain 2

This harvest entry is a bit late, been having some technical issues with my diaries they are trying to fix I ended up harvesting this girl the same time I harvested my Sour Diesel She was a weird looking banana but she tastes wonderful and full of flavor! Honestly this is officially one of my favorite strains I have ever smoked. All my mates have been impressed with the high THE DEEP DEEP PURPLE WAS GORGEOUS Even though she was the plant which suffered the worst of the root rot I had so stunting etc, she represented in taste and effect. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The harvest week was a bit rough I have met SATAN AND HE IS CALLED BROAD MITES A few days ago I discovered broad mites had gotten into my plants and were causing havoc. (confirmed under a microscope, small translucent bastards) Also covid has hit some of my family members, so I didn't really have time to do much or notice the progression due to time limitations. Which left me with some decisions to make since most of my plants are flowering (I couldn't really treat them) The two closest I did an early harvest, the others I treated with a light mite killer that is non toxic to humans... So I did harvest this plant, but thankfully almost no buds were lost (caught early) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BUDS Honestly quite airy, but Il take that from lack of experience and some earlier troubles But...but They were full of beautiful trichomes They smell flippen fantastic They looked incredible, the purple was such a beaut!! and since this harvest they have cured nicely ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Soil My soil was not great, honestly it was so hard when I worked on disposing the left overs to get mites away from my other plants The roots hardly had any growth to them which I assume was both the soil and root rot doing its work, but honestly half the soil was like brick... not good I am changing soil completely for my next batch. Lesson learnt. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Routine pest control Something I was not doing which I will be religious about for my next batch, my garden is ALIVE and I will need to counter that.
