Frigaultanswered grow question 4 years ago I do it. When it gets to bushy crazy i remove everythingbthat are griwing inwird. Sucker shoot groing inward befor they get big and really in thevway and inward ponting leaf. Thuscway i can get better air flow while maintaining the canopy at a manageble shape.. like ither mention. Its better to do small at a time. Try and understand where and how a leaf or a branch will grow and how it will interact in the future, and overtime yiu'll get goid at removing undesirable branchung befir they developoe and wast time and energy. Rule of thumb. If it aint blocking anything then it is more then likely useful and catching something..
