Wallysaye2 uffff... let's see... I started a diary for this plant a few weeks ago. I closed the account and the little plant didn't give much either, but since it's still alive, let's keep going. This poor thing has had everything against it, but it has survived. It started off for just over two weeks indoors, but due to the lack of space and being far from a very regular light source, it ended up quite small. I took it outdoors because the cabinet was turning into a drying area, and I pretty much forgot about it. Very little water, and some days almost only in the shade (and late autumn, chilly). So, I abandoned it to its fate and now some pistils are starting to show. I'm already assuming the yield will be less than 5g, but hey, it's cool to see a plant overcome limits and conditions. So I've grown fond of it. To not drive it too crazy, I'll start fertilizing gradually and see how it goes. Cheers and good vibes to everyone in these polarized times!

Wallysaye2 I'm not giving it any water... since it's been raining, I haven't seen the need. It's a shame about the fertilizing... It's going to stay really small, but it's so healthy that I don't want to get rid of it... just a little more, starting to flower...

Wallysaye2 End of week 7: I've only watered her twice, she hasn't needed more. The truth is that the balcony is great, she makes good use of the few hours of light the day has. I might start using my closet as a base for photodependent plants in the vegetative stage, and once I see them stable, they'll go to the balcony to bloom... The blacky won't yield more than two joints, but considering the mistreatment she's suffered, she's super healthy and pretty... Maybe I'll harvest her on January 1st to avoid bad luck XD Peace and health to everybody!

Wallysaye2 I've had the chance to give it fertilizer two or three times, and while it appreciates it, it looks like it would have done just fine without it too. It seems like it still has a few weeks left, and with how tiny it has gotten, it doesn't bother me at all. Soon I'll add some company, I'll try two or three different feminized ones, two or three weeks indoors, and then off to the balcony, but in smaller pots; I think 5 liters will be more than enough. I'll be posting some photos during the week when changes are noticeable. I have no idea how long the plant has been growing, so I'm unofficially marking today as day 56, but mainly to keep track of the pace. Peace and health to everybody, take care!

Wallysaye2 Well, the young lady is starting to mature. The trichomes are beautiful and the smell is old school, it's great after some time growing varieties with more peculiar flavors and aromas. Just one more week and we're ready!

Wallysaye2 Well, very bad news. Pest :( all the big leaves woke up yesterday with eggs on the underside. I removed them, but today there were still some remnants on smaller leaves (photo) It's no longer time to treat them. Since it's less than 2 grams, it doesn't matter, but wouldn't it be better to harvest it or wait and pray that the bugs go away... any advice? By the end of the week, the bug issue will be water under the bridge. It's almost ready, but still no sign of amber trichomes. As soon as I see some, I'll cut it down...

Grow Questions

Wallysaye2started grow question 6y ago
Day70. White fly and eggs (pict.2) removed all infected leaves. Harvest, avoid more problems and midrange weed, or wait and hope it doesnt go worse? does she have any chance to recover? I wont mind either way as we're speaking less than 2,5g...

I wouldn't worry too much, just let it finish, the white flies will not eat your buds. Removing leaves will just reduce your plants capacity to produce energy and at this late stage when she is nearly ready there really isn't much point to doing so and there are no drastic cures either. She should finish and mature just fine, despite the white flies. After looking at your diary, I am a bit alarmed by you only giving this plant 9/10 hours of light. Try 18/6 for your next grow and you will certainly be able to harvest a lot more flowers. This could also be why this plant is being "attacked" by white flies, they will "attack" plants with weakened health as they easy targets, and a plant living under only 9/10 hours of light would certainly be suffering from weakened health, due mainly to the lack of time to photosynthesise causing metabolic deficiencies for over all health. Hope this helps,.... Organoman.

Wallysaye2 Harvested on day 80, 10% amber. 55 grams wet, good smell and very nice appearance. I estimate about 4 grams final, and since it's so little, I'm going to give it an optimal drying and curing. So in a month, month and a half, I'll share the results. If I look at how it turned out outdoors, and the conditions it has lived in, it came out quite decent! See you soon!

Nice oldschool smell and smoke. Too much Indica to do big things, too much Sativa buzz to disconnect. Took me 5 minutes to write one sentence. I mean, nowadays you can grow really incredible strains, very high thc, beautiful colours, sherbalato cake #4 and all this. And they taste like actual stuff and all this. You are high for a while, but meh.... its been a while since I first-smoke a strain and am this satisfied. It smells like you didnt shower for three days and tastes fleshy. But jeeeeeesus Im getting old feelings back. Sheeeeeeeeit Im going to change my rate from 9 to 10 and roll another one. See you all, thanks sweetseeds for this little jewel :)

Wallysaye2 well, as a growing experience it has been quite interesting. This little lady spent her first 3 1/2 weeks indoors, but a ridiculous distance from a cfl away, so it stayed tiny and didnt develop. My fault. Then I put her outdoors early december. Despite living in a mild zone it is still winter, so the hours of light were very little. I had no real hope on her, but she is a real champion. Practically no feeding and very little watering. Some days I forgot to elevate her so she would get sun. Still a little bushy plant that skurvived even bug eggs on her leafs at late flower stage. Dried for a week after 80days lifetime and is going to cure now. Still, I had an uncured 0.5 and am very happy with the result. Balanced effect in a very good way. Definitively going to give her a second try respecting more her first weeks of life to get better yealds. I think thats all, love, stay high and good health to everyone!
