Just about halfway there. Week four is going great. The buds seem to have lost some of the stickiness on the sugar leaves not sure if that is normal or not but the insides are still super sticky. I can definitely see the buds are getting dense. I upped my feeding to three times a week for the next two weeks. Both girls seem to drink about a liter per day but I usually water every two days. I also found a ladybug that has a new home in the tent to ward off any pest since I had a run-in with spider mites, it got to a point where it destroyed an entire plant. I didn’t know what it was until it was too late. I used to use blurple lights and it was really hard to see deficiencies within the girls.
Still feeling about 3 to 4 times per week and about one or two waters windows. She is coming in nicely and I can definitely tell the buds or thickening up. As soon as you open the tent the smell of cake and sweetness smacks you in the face. On week 4 of flower the buds have seemed to lost their stickiness but they have for sure come back this week. Just touching a few of the buds and your fingers are super sticky. More to come
Coming up on the end of week six. I can definitely see a change in the bud size and density. I also notice the maturity of the plants. You can see a few of the leaves are starting to purple. The majority of the pistols are starting to turn orange. Some of the buds are turning purple as well. I think I may have burned the number one plant or either light bleached. I can see a noticeable yellowish pistol shooting from some of the top buds that are closer to the light so I knocked it down to 75% and I’ll probably kick it back up to 100 for the last week or two. As soon as you open up the tent the smell of sweet cake slaps you in the face. I 100% recommend a carbon filter if you want this to go unnoticed in your household.
Upon further inspection I noticed some nanners shooting of some of the buds. Wedding cake number one been stressed to much and started to herme. I can too a considerable difference in bud size sumpoveto wedding cake number one. I son also start to see the bud structure changing To form buds. The sugar leaves have become dark brownish and and bunds do not seem at stickey. I also noticed a dust like material coming from the buds when I shake them which I’m thinking is pollen. Luckily wedding cake number 2 is still growing and becoming more dense. What do you guys think, should I cut my losses and harvest now or just wait it out until final harvest. More pics to come.
After many hours of research it looks like I have kept my like to close and intensity was too high which caused when you take number one to herm and pollinate wedding cake number too but not as bad. The pump inspection the try combs are all falling off in the form of dust and the birds and leaves were starting to turn brown. The buzzer were also not a sticky I started to lose color so I decided to harvest early. Lesson learned and onto the next growth ,pictures to come.
