Hello everyone. After too long of an absence, we are finally back for another round. This time we don't make any mistakes and we start with the basics and that is starting with the right seed from a reliable breeder. And this time our eye fell on a reserva line strain man bear alien pig from Mephisto genetics. We have been growing mainly mephisto for a few rounds now and it must be said the quality of the plants is phenomenal. The difference with other breeders is overwhelming. Anyway, let me show you ... Follow along with the grow of Double Grape! First some basic info. -------- Setup: -------- 1 x Mamoth 240 * Professional Collection* 2 x Lumatek full spectrum 400 Watt (dimmable electric ballast) 1 x Reflector mirror cap 50 cm 1 x Le Grand Omnirex analog time switch 1 x Climate controller with thermostat 1 x Tube fan Can-Fan RK 100L (max 240 m3) 1 x Can-lite 300PL max 300 m3 100 mm 2 x Ventilator 1 x Hygro-thermometer digital min/max 1 x Medisana UHW Humidifier ------------- Nutrients: ------------- The primal way of organic growing is based on the use of compost. Based on compost a number of organic strategies have been developed. BioTabs is an organic fertiliser, using the force of soil organisms. BioTabs stimulates soil organisms by converting organic material into ideal plant food. In this way, plants develop strong root systems and are disease-resistant. BioTabs guarantees a fair, full and very tasty harvest. We're using this round following products Bio tabs 3x pp Startrex Microtrex Orgatrex Bactrex ------ Soil: ------ Light Mix is a lightly fertilized soil. This lightly fertilized soil is ideal for the cultivation of autoflower cannabis. The BioBizz light mix ensures (through the open structure of the substrate) that the roots quickly and vigorously develop which leads to a better end product. -------- Strain: -------- Reserva Strain: Double Grape Genetic Heritage - Sour Stomper (Sour crack - Grape Pheno x Grape Stomper OG) x Grape Crinkle (Canadian Crinkle x Supernatural x Ripley's OG) Seed Type: F3 Feminised Automatic ---------------------------------------- Project introduction and Overview: ---------------------------------------- Auto Double Grape is the F3 version of the original limited edition Double Grape auto-flowering strain. Auto Double Grape is a cross of Sour Stomper x Grape Crinkle and the extra two generations of highly selective breeding have concentrated the special attributes of this strain further bringing vast trichome coverage, delicious flavour and huge potency to the table. Auto Double Grape is 60% indica and 40% sativa; it is the product of the union of two great Artisanal Mephisto strains - Sour Stomper (Sour Crack - Grape Pheno x Grape Stomper OG) and Grape Crinkle (Canadian Crinkle x Supernatural x Ripley's OG) - and hybrid vigour is definitely the watchword here. This plants grows with quite an open structure but becomes bushy, a quality which can be enhanced by judicious leaf-tucking. Double Grape also responds well to Low Stress Training (LST) if done early enough in the life cycle. Odour control is a must with this plant if growing indoors! As you would expect it remains a short-ish plant growing to a height of 55 - 80 cm. tall and approximately 40 - 50 cm. wide. Grown as single plants growers can expect to yield 90 - 120 gr/plant but Mephisto recommends planting 9 to a 600 watt grow light indoors (1.2m2) in 12 litre pots where the yield can reach 500 mgr/m2. This strain will also thrive in a greenhouse environment but proper outdoor cultivation is best reserved for regions with warm climates. The life-cycle is in the region 65 - 70 days which is certainly not too long to wait for a plant of this quality. In terms of flavour grape's certainly the name of the game including ripe red grape fruit flavours and also an artificial fizzy grape drink taste. THC production has been measured by CANNA at 21.78%! The effect is very stimulating initially evolving into a more relaxed, sedative type of stone. Therapeutic uses include appetite stimulation, relief from aches and pains and insomnia. Auto Double Grape produces enormous quantities of resin and makes fantastic bubble hash and other extracts including rosin. --------------------------- Strain figures and info: --------------------------- Genetics: Sour Stomper (Sour crack - Grape Pheno x Grape Stomper OG) x Grape Crinkle (Canadian Crinkle x Supernatural x Ripley's OG) THC - 21.78% Yield - 500 gr/m2 indoors Height - 55 - 80 cm. Flowering time - 65 - 70 days from germination Medical conditions - Insomnia, Lack of Appetite Taste/Flavour - Grape Effect - Powerful, Relaxing, Stimulating

----------- Week 1 : ----------- Good start to the first week of growth. Double grape shows its potential from the first week. Have already bred her and from the moment she raises her head above the ground it is a race to the top. The speed with which she comes out of the starting blocks is phenomenal. The humidity is a bit on the low side and it will increase as quickly as possible. Furthermore, the light mix soil with added bactrex, orgatrex and fungi seems a bit too 'hot' to start autoflowers. Although I suspect that this will already be resolved this week. All in all, a good start and on to next week. Until then!

------------ Week 2 ------------ Second week of growth behind us and more than satisfied. After the somewhat slower start than usual due to too low humidity, she completely recovered in the second part of the week. The humidity is around 70% and DG enjoys it to the full. The growth in the second part of the week is spectacular and a good number of shoots are trying to make their way to the top. As far as possible I have applied the necessary leaftucking, next week we will continue with this more intensively. This week also no extra nutrition except the standard nutrition that has been added to the light mix. Hopefully she will continue as strong next week. Until then everyone!

Looks great!! My humidity I have keep between 45-60 is that two low never really noticed anything wrong with it but should it be higher for veg and lower for flower correct ?

@Dazednhazedlynn, thx ! Yes, humidity, temperature and lifestage of the plant are correlated. Google VDP chart for cannabis for the ideal temperature/humidity ratio. It makes a big difference. But in general keep humidity high during veg and low during flower ( because of mold)
