Day 1
7/9 ladies have germinated completely. 1 Somango XL and 1 The Church are trailing, had to help them a little. Thy might have been to deep or not enough air. hoping 1 will come through as I would like to have 8 plants for the next grow.
Day 8
Maybe a little early transplant but I already saw some roots growing out of the coco plugs so decided to move them to 1L airpots. Using soil now, gave them a little water with very little root stimulator. Waiting for my current round to finish before moving them to the bigger tent. Only 40cm in height because the tent is put sideways, otherwise the lamp cannot fit in, so lets hope it does not take to long for the other round to finish.
-------------------------
Day 12
The Phantom OG and Critical Kush are trailing a little, the rest is progressing nicely. Some deformed starting leaves I guess due to the high temperatures in the early days. Placed an exhaust fan and now it is more controlled.
------------------------
Day 14
Ladies are growing nicely. Both trailers are starting to recover. No water for them as the rest are drinking around 100ml every 2 days. Will top the ladies that have 4 nodes today and remove the bottom two nodes.
Thanks for reading! Cheers
Day 17
Switched the ladies to the larger tent and switched the Mars SP 250 back on. Original plan was to put it on 90w but since the cold is kicking in and the tent was having problems to get as high as 20 degrees, decided to give it full power and higher the lamp a little. I have a plan for an extra tube heater but it has not arrived yet. We'll manage for now.
Two of the skunks have somewhat weird leaf growing or marks on the leaf. Did not see any bugs yet but will spray some preventive neem oil as we have had problems in the past with bugs. The Phantom Og and the Critical Kush are gaining on the rest and are slowly pulling thourgh. Topped two of the skunks and one church on the 4th node and removed the first node. Will do t he same to the rest of the ladies as soon as they are there. will keep them in this pot for a week or before we will transplant to a bigger container.
Thanks for reading!
Day 23
Repotted the ladies because they were not looking comfortable in those small containers. It seemed a good time as the were showing more yellow and droopy leaves. 10L containers filled to the top, lets see how these ladies develop further.
Not linking some plants as they grow weird leaf, but lets see the progresses this week. Rooting look all well as they were almost all nicely spread. Also some yellow because the light mix from plagron I used only contains nutrients for about a week. Now they got some fresh in the new soil so we will wait a good week before giving some extra nutrients, but might add some root stimulator along with the water.
----------------
Day 26
So the ladies are recovering somewhat. Topped the rest of the plants and most of the ladies are looking better than before. The previously topped plants we have started training. We will slowly start giving water. Enough nutrients in the soil for now, no nutrients needed yet. Probably we will start next week.
Thanks for reading!
Day 29
Some ladies are still recovering from topping/fimming, others are looking better. Some burnt tips on a couple of ladies from adding a little nutrients to the soil before transplant, plain water today for 7/8 ladies. The Phantom OG is the smallest and looks like she could take a few more days without water. Trying this round to less frequently give water but enough for a few days at once. Lets see if we can keep the bugs from forming in the top wet layer and have it dry out properly. Difficult to water as the soil does not take water so good when really dry, but after a few small doses it was better.
We will see how it goes on with the plants to do a next round of topping or not in the days to come. Trying some LST here and there and will do the Kyle Kushmans chiropracting before flowering.
-------------------
Day 32
Another round of topping/fimming and some LST on most of the plants except for the Phantom OG. Also I have left the recent toppings alone and did not top them again, still too soon. Possibly this will be the last round before heavy defoliation and switching to 12/12. Will see how it goes this week before I decide to do anything.
Ladies are looking good to me. Some burnt tips but nothing to worry about for now. Started with adding a little root stimulator, cal mag and 1/4 of advised nutrients. 500ml - 1L each. PH 6.2. Will let them dry out for a few days before I water again.
-------------------------
Day 35
Installed a heat bar to heated the tent. It was getting as low as 14 degrees. A little too cold for my ladies. Will heat for 15 min in intervals to make sure the tent does not get too hot. It takes away 30cm in height but I think that's more than worth it.
The ladies are doing great!! Absolutely love how they have grown and expanded this week. Saw some burnt and downward pointing tips which shows a little too much nutrients, but nothing worrysome.
Thanks for reading!
Day 37
These ladies are filling up all the space nicely. Because of some burnt tips I am not giving a lot of extra nutrients this week. Even the Root Stimulator might be a little too much atm, but I am giving very little amounts.
Broke a branch of the Critical Kush while LST'ing, hope it will recover, if not so be it. I will spray some neem oil again for bug prevention somewhere this week.
-------------------
Day 40
Sprayed the ladies with neem oil on Sunday. I think some bugs are coming from outside or from my other house plants. I occasionally see a flying bug, but I think I got it under control now. Hope not to spray anymore until the end.
I also got the ladies some new light as I switched the Mars Hydro SP250 for the Mars Hydro SP3000. More or less the same lamp, only a little bit more LED's, better range and easy dimmer. Let's see how that piece of hardware performs. I don't think I will put a net this time, as it limits the movability and I would like to see how if they perform better without. Switching to 12/12 this week, but not before we do some heavy defoliation. Also did some Kyle Kushmans chiropracting but I'm not sure if it was done correctly or if it has any impact. We'll see...
Thanks for reading!
Day 44
Added a CO2 bag a few days ago and we did some defoliation today. I went hard on these ladies. I will give them a few days to recover before switching to the 12/12 schedule.
Saw some lower discoloring of leaves and some early Cal/mag signs on 2 plants, so we upped the dose a little. Because of the defoliation, I need to make sure more nutrients are available in the medium because we just took away a whole lot of food for the plant, so I gave some water with nutrients and will let them recover for the next days. Also added a top layer of dry soil extra against the fungus gnats.
-----------------------
Day 48
Switched to 12/12 2 days ago. I'm waiting another week before counting the flowering weeks. Let's wait and see. Added humidifier in the grow to for max result.
Thanks for reading!
Day 50
The ladies are looking very fine. We will try to get the the room in optimal conditions and VPD ranges in order for the plants to burst. With the CO2 added, it should not be a problem for the lamp to hang lower and grow fatter buds. Combined with humidity control, I'm really looking forward to this seeing these ladies grow large buds and a record and result!
Some small issues which I believe are a little nutrient sufficency/deficiency starting from below, some small Cal/Mag signs so upped the dose.
---------------------
Day 52
These ladies are doing really good imo. Maybe a little yellow on the new growth, might up the dose of nutrients as it looks like a iron deficiency. We'll see. Trying to get the optimal conditions with humidity, light and heat but because of the cold temperatures outside its difficult to manage. Still sorting out what is the best setup.
Meanwhile, we have something to check and do in these times!
---------------------
Day 55
Installed everything for more temperature and humidity control. Lets see if we can get optimal conditions for the ladies! Happy me!
Be safe and thanks for reading!
Day 57 - Day 11 Flower
The ladies have all shown their gender and buds are forming. Will defoliate near the 2,5 week of flowering mark, but the bottom seems to be needing more light. Temp and humidity are under control so I'm really happy the way things are going. Still the same burned tips and the Critical is getting more and more yellow, not sure what's going on. Other than that a few bugs because of the high humidity and the airpots, will do a last spray of neem oil just before defoliation.
----------------------------
Day 59 - Day 13 Flower
Took away some yellow bottom leaves and made it a bit easier for watering. Because they are so bushy it was not so easy, so lets hope that gets better. No complaints, all ladies are looking really good. The ladies on the first row are all doing a little better. This might be because the light tends to hang a little more to that side, because of the fan. Lots of buds looking to form, really looking forward! Defoliation in a few days.
Thanks for reading!
Day 64 - Day 18 Flower
Everything is going smoothly! The ladies are all developing flowers nicely. Some deficiencies for the Critical Kush, other than that everything on track. Still some bugs after spraying neem oil for the third time a few days ago. Not sure if I want to do another round of spraying when flowering, but it seems like I do not have a choice. We are generating the ideal circumstances, 20-27 C and humidity around 60-70, so that is not helping... Lets see how they progress before taking actions.
--------------------------
Day 70 - Day 24 Flower
Buds are growing everywhere!! Ladies are doing very decent, some yellow bottom leaves. Probably have been a little dry and too little nutrients, but I'm careful this round. Upped the feeding dose a little, we will see what it does! Still some signs of bugs on the leaves, will decide this week to do another spray or leave it as it is.
Thank for reading!
Day 71 - Day 25 Flower
Not much complaints. Still some bugs here and there. Still some lower yellowing. Looks more like the right side is a little overfed and the left side is doing nicely. Will try to give them separate feedings next time to keep them more green. Buds are increasing nicely in size. Maybe another round of neem oil this week, not sure yet. I'm seeing how it progresses...
Thanks for reading!
Day 76 - Day 30 Flower
Not much too report. A little more yellowing although it looks more stagnant and the ladies are processing the nutrients nicely. Buds are thickening. I'm removing large fan leaves, not too many at a time now to stress them. The ladies on the front row are advised to grow 49-56 days, the ladies on the back row 49-63. The Critical Kush is already having a lot of brown hairs, my guess due to her being right next to the humidifier and the fan blowing in that direction.
Solid steady temperatures around 27 with the lights on and 21 with the lights off. The humidity is also somewhere between 50-65/70ish, in range of VPD charts for the temperature in the tent. Really liking the amount of control and looking for a good finish!
-------------------------------------------------
Day 79 - Day 33 Flower
Its going nicely! Buds are thickening and starting to smell heavy! Trichomes are showing everywhere! The yellowing has not spread too much, some plants are still looking nice and green. We are giving 100% of the nutrition scheme for the rest of the grow. I think these ladies can handle it! The ladies on the first row are a bit bigger than the ladies on the back. Might be because the light tends to hang a little more to the front. The waiting game continues!
Thanks for reading!
Day 82 - Day 36 Flower
The ladies have been growing nicely. Just a few more weeks now. Not much more yellow but some more burnt tips. Will easy down on the nutrients a little, not too much. The left side is looking a lot bigger than the right side, but I have heightened some pots so its not that fair to assume. We'll see it in the end results.
Haven't seen that much bugs anymore so I think we are hanging on until the end, after we will switch tents and clean out everything properly before starting the new round.
------------------------------
Day 87 - Day 41 Flower
We are getting closer to the end! The Skunks (left side of the tent) are starting to get completely milky with some ambers here and there showing, or two of the three plants that are getting more yellow. One seems to be a little behind. I'm feeding for a few more days before starting to flush. The rest of the ladies can get a little more bigger, probably around 2-3 weeks more. We will see when we start flushing the rest.
Thank for reading!
Day 90 - Day 44 Flower
Budporn alert! It's looking really good, some ladies are a little overfed, but nothing serious. I gave them all about the same amount of nutrients, which is probably not the best way for all these different ladies, but hey, it is what it is. The hairs are from my cats, sorry for that! Did not clean the fans and air intakes frequently and I might have hit some buds with clothing...
Still a lot of small flying bugs, I also left too much water in the pots regularly and the heat and humidity combined is ideal for these bugs. Sprayed three times with neem but now will not use it anymore this far in the grow.
The Skunks are the furthest in their bloom and have the shortest flowering period, with some amber trichomes and a lot milky already. I will start to flush them soon. The rest looks like they can take another week of feeding, the Phantom OG might need 2 more. The Critical Kush is covered with trichomes and sticky as hell. The smell is starting to get really intense. Looking for a strong finish and some nice organic buds!
----------------------------------
Day 93 - Day 47 Flower
Last day of nutrients for the Skunks. Everything looking milky and amber. The breeder says they need 49 days, I'm giving them a few more. They start to smell like old stool skunk, I really like how they have turned out! The Somango might follow the Skunks lead in early flushing. I think I'll be giving the rest of the ladies a few more days of nutrients, but they are looking nice and milky with starting amber as well!
Thanks for reading!
Day 97 - Day 51 Flower
Started flushing these ladies a few days ago. Will not let the right side take some more nutrients and stay a little longer in the tent, will cut everything at the same time. Seen some more thrips on the Phantom OG and Church, will not take any risk and finish this round a little early for them. You can see the "snail trails" on different plants in the dark, looks a bit like mildew but definitely isn't mildew. The Skunks are way ahead with already around 10-20% amber or more. The Somango and Critical Kush are around 5-10% amber and both Church and Phantom OG only very little. They say 100% milky is the strongest effect for a plant so lets hope to get close for them in a few days. Seeing milky trichomes everywhere, the Critical Kush is a trichome BOMB!! I like it a lot!
I feel like I've been on pretty spot on with feeding, not too much burnt tips, and they can start yellowing now. Hope y'all like the pictures!
---------------------------------
Day 102 - Day 56 Flower
I cut the Skunks, Somango and Critical Kush. All very milky with ambers, I am satisfied how everything turned out. Around 150-200gr wet per plant, some little more, not too shabby! I will update the strains once everything is dried properly. First impressions are looking good, smell is great, maybe it could have been a little more imo but I'll take what they have given! The Somango has this reddish shine on the inside top buds, really pretty under the microscope!
I will let the Churches and Phantom OG stay for a week longer. They look like they can ripen a few more days, mostly milky with very few ambers, so I gave nutrients for the last time and we are flushing them as well now.
Thanks for reading!
Day 106 - Day 60 Flower
We cut the rest of the ladies after 56 days of flowering. 3x Skunk, 1x Somango and 1x Critical Kush! Will update the results over the next days. Really satisfied how everything turned out!
The Churches and the Phantom OG are still fattening up and getting a little more amber trichomes. They will be harvested in a few days after flushing, which I am currently doing. More thrips on the Phantom OG so she will receive a close trimming and making sure all the bugs are gone!
-----------------------------
Day 109 - Day 63 Flower
Cutting day for the Churches! Haven't watered them for a few days and they look ready! Really nice smell, quite citrus!
The Phantom OG is remaining for the last days without watering, will cur her down in a few days!
Thanks for reading, enjoy the last pics!
Day 110 - Day 64 Flower
Last days and last water given. From now nothing anymore and 24-48 hours of darkness before cutting! Smells amazing, looks milky all the way with ambers here and there. Nice!
The bugs have not spread too much, although you can see their traces here and there... It is what it is! Will cut away enough to make sure no bugs are in my harvest!
Thanks for reading!
Lovely strain, great buds and smell! She did take longer than I expected and still I might have chopped her down early. Some bugs here and there, no mould or other pests!
