Decided to give this strain a try since a lot of people swear by it and say it gives fantastic yields.
I know 100W probably isn't the best for 2 plants, but just want to experiment and see how far I can push it.
Just been doing some light defoliation and readjusting LST.
One of them (the first pic) is filling out nicely and has been very minimal work.
The second pic, has been a little more challenging. Nothing crazy but it's growing a lot more "bushy" and has been a bit harder to LST than the other.
Note: I'm currently using a Mars Hydro TS1000 for this. However, I just bought a Spider Farmer SF4000 and will be getting to me some time this week so will probably end up swapping the TS1000 out.
Swapped light out to a SF4000. Also got a new higher capacity sprayer which is why my nutrient ratios have changed slightly from previous weeks.
Got some fans on the way to target some airflow on top of the light and cool it a bit since that's why my temps are quite high at the moment around 30C..
Still waiting for chiller to get here to help with temps, but the plants have actually been dealing with it surprisingly well. They are still looking incredibly healthy. Definitely want the chiller though for late flower to prevent any mould/rot issues for sure.
Water uptake has been increased due to flower and the temps, so I'm just being careful with the nutes and making sure I don't give too much at once to hopefully prevent nute burn.
Bit of a late update due to IRL stuff. Temps have continued to soar where I'm located, where ambient temperature is now 30C+ most days.
Have one of those ice water evaporative chillers that sometimes drops it from 30 to around 24-26, but that's still not ideal since it only holds a few hours max. Keep in mind this is with the light not even at 100%, usually 75%.
Also noticed Nitrogen deficiency with the leaves turning yellow, so applied some PK 13/14 and just waiting for the plant to react for now.
