After some issues early on with pH & deficiencies, we are now in 10 gal living soil pots. I am expecting to see some more deficiencies as it is the first round of my living soil in these 10 gal pots. I will look to supplement with aerated teas before they happen (hopefully!). After seeing some diaries of the same strain, I am very excited for things to come. Happy growing!

As 8thchevron said this is actually a bract which keeps the sexual organ of the plant safe while it grows! It is too early to determine the sex of the plant but keep an eye at those growth points, if a little pair of white hairs/pistils pop out of them then it's a female, if a sack/banana/stamen pops out then it's a male.
