Pure Indica - Coco - ILGM

I’m recalling this from a few weeks back, But the plant in the larger black plastic container has been way behind its entire growth up until flowering where I’m at now.. not sure the cause but it worked out in the end.

These were the week of FIM/topping. Definitely should have let them recover a bit more before sending into flower tent.. but space was getting real tight in the veg/autoflower tent

This was actually a few weeks back but I had to top the PurIN 1 again because the growth vertically continued after FIM attempt- must not have cut enough off

Pure indica 1 was always lagging behind the # 2 plant.. I FIMed #1 on November 18 I Topped #2 on November 16 Both went in Flower after a few days of recovering from topping/FIMing I’ll put up photos from the veg state ASAP Did my normal defoliation @ week 3 of flower on December 12th - photos attached. Mainly on PurIN # 2 because the growth has been more intense. Did even more defoliation day later, Following nebulas defoliation schedule/technique of serious defol during week 3 Upping nutes to around 1200 ppm today December 16 - they look like they can handle more some I’m giving it

Well the heavy defoliation in the last week seems to have done no harm, I think this is a good strategy I’ll use to some extent on future grows. I’ve always done defoliation, but more so randomly and without too much strategy so to speak. I’m adding a bit of tiger bloom and big bloom from fox farm to the regimen here because I’m interested in involving more organic nutrients for the plants, especially in bloom.

The buds have still been steadily packing on weight in the last week.. sugar leaves are filling out with trichomes also Getting a tiny bit of color of darkness on some of the buds- this tent gets down to 62 at night so I’m sure that will continue to get some color

Basically just another week of the buds fattening up. I’m really surprised though I think these are gonna be where I want to harvest within two or three weeks. I these Indica plants appear to be pretty quick flowerers. The smaller plant in the black plastic container is almost full cloudy trichomes.. whereas the fabric part one that has bigger buds is actually a little less mature as far as judging by trichome color/opacity. Smell is quite lovely it actually reminds me of the amnesia haze plant I have going. It’s very citrusy.. This is by far the most frosty flower I have had in a while.. the trichome density is quite amazing. These plants aren’t producing massive flower or yield but seem potent as anything I’ve grown. This is to be expected according to breeder info, it’s a lower yielding plant.

Flowers/buds bulking up even more this week as they should be! Getting some nice color in the tops of the buds cuz I’m dealing with tent temps in the low 60s. One of these plants is in the fabric pot and ones in a plastic pot. From the beginning the one in the plastic pot has always been smaller, started out slower, thinner branches/stem. At this point the plastic pot one is actually a little closer to harvest than The other is. I’m pretty sure ill harvest it first - it’s at the point where all the trichomes are cloudy. The plant in the fabric pot is at the point where it’s about 50-50 between clear and cloudy. I know this is a pure Indica strain so I think a lot of people would harvest more when they get to Amber color but I prefer to harvest right when there’s just a couple beginning to turn amber. So I started running florakleen to flush in the plastic container one.. I’ll probably flush 7-10 days and harvest that one, followed by the next probably within that week. These are tiny plants and I certainly wasn’t going for yield on these.. this has been my first go growing in coco, so it’s new to me. If I’m going for huge yield I use my DWC set up I currently have a nice big blue dream in. These were FIMed at a month old and thrown in flower just a few days later. I actually enjoy plants this size cuz they’re manageable.. not so damn think and bushy. These both have 8-12 main colas and they were nice and spaced out from the LST. These are starting to get some serious color everyday, more and more.. it’s crazy. Last couple photos I tried to capture the color. It’s not necessarily purple, it’s like a bluish color I guess. I dunno it’s hard to describe but it’s gorgeous nonetheless! Thanks for checking the girls out!

All right folks so I harvested today but I’m gonna put these pics in the last week this week 12. And then once I have a decent dry on the buds in a week I’ll do the harvest update with some numbers of dry weight. So we have one of the plants it was substantially bigger the whole time and yielded about 2x the amount as the smaller one. There wasn’t a huge difference in the environments of these two plants but one was in a plastic pot one was in a fabric pot - the one in the plastic pot struggled the whole time in veg - it did OK in flower and yielded decently given that. The fabric part one which I believe I labeled pure Indica #1 - had absolutely my best buds as far as density.. they are rock hard! Theyre not huge- but I’m fine with that.. the yield isn’t huge. I’d rather just pull a few ounces of some dense ass buds than a half pound of some subpar buds. So these two plants ended up at about 12 ounces wet weight - most of it coming from the bigger plant. I expect we’ll end up with about 3 ounces dry.

This had a nice quick flower cycle - which I loved.. I think I chopped right around 8 weeks of flower, Trichomes were about 15-35% amber depending on the location of the bud on the plant.
