Dropped seeds in water. The next day after sinking I placed them in paper towels. SCB decided to grow completely out of the seed husk by day 2. BK decided to shoot it's taproot THROUGH the paper towel. The 2nd BK had cracked open but no tap yet. Placed all 3 in solos 12-12-20 promix hp
Week 2 is starting rough for the BK. She seems overwatered even though I only give a few drops a day. Haven't ph'd water so I suppose it's time to start. Looking very mutated as of now. The SCB is looking decent. Looks a lil hungry already so I'll start with a tiny bit of food soon.
They came close to dying but pulled through. pH issue like always. I swear I can't dial in with promix for some reason. Anyways started feeding and they came back. Definitely stunted but I'll be vegging for quite a while longer✌️
Transplanted today day 39. BK went well, the SCB on the other hand... Only half of the root ball came out the cup (just a lil bit, I stopped it and bopped the rest of it out of the bottom of cup) so hopefully it doesn't fall over and die in the next few days😐
I have finally stopped reducing pH to what I want to give them. pH going in now is 7.4 and coming out around 6.0
I'm done using promix I just can't get it where I want it when feeding. I just add nutes to water and pour it on the medium. Gonna go back to real soil after this run. Flipping lights tomorrow since they've finally gotten back to normal.. we're getting there 😂

SCB is doing good! Pruned some leaves off a couple days ago. She's a little longer than her counterpart. Pistils have been visible for around a week now.
BK is doing good as well. Slight mag def a few weeks ago but since figuring out the pH fiasco she's doing good. She's VERY short and stubby, less than an inch between nodes in this one. The LST is beginning to work as several bud sites are popping upwards.
LST on SCB is very noticeable. The trunk is hugging the medium and the arms are stretching out with around 10+- tops & an even canopy.
Can't wait to see what 12/12 has in store for me!
Sunday 2-7, they're ready to stretch. Everything is going smooth now. Still sticking to the Coco for cannabis GH feeding chart. pH going in is 7.3 and is buffered down by the promix. No deficiency or irregular colors.
Week 3 of flower, they're healthy ladies. I gave them both a lollipoping and inched the lights down a little. Still stretching for now.
Mid week check-in: they're still doing good. Still growing slightly
Running into phosphorus deficiency. Flushed and fed in hopes of correcting. Other than the hints of purple they seem to be doing good. Cut N out of BK's feed but SCB still gets a little. Thanks for lookin'👍
End of week 4 is looking promising. The smell from the Super Critical is AMAZING. Very tropical and sweet. The BK terps aren't as flattering but not bad! Especially for a freebie. The flush seems to have fixed my purpling and kept them moist for most of the week. 👍
Week 5: made a classic mistake of not having my pH pen calibrated. Now both show signs of Phosphorus deficiency. Calibrated it today, flushed again and gave them some food. I'll have a grow without pH problems one day.
Day 35, no more lockout 👍 they're starting to get chubby. Super Critical isn't getting as fat as Bubba is. Cheers to 3 more weeks 🌱
Day 43, they're doing good. BK started having leaf tips curling up but not dying. It doesn't get too hot in there. I'll ask a grow question and adjust.
Day 45 some leaves got worse but it's not spreading. Took some micros but couldn't seem to get a clean shot lmao
Day 46, bubba ain't drinking anything since last feeding. Guess I'll flush when she dries out 😐 SCB flowers aren't half as fat as BK's are though, and SCB pistils aren't half as orange as BK's.
Leaf tips curling but not discolored on my bubba kush. Had some pH issues last few weeks but finally corrected it. They weren't like that yesterday, it was 74 when I opened the tent today. What could it be? Is it a big deal?
hey there BootyMissles, I gotta disagree with DrGT here, overwatering will cause leafs to curl downwards not upwards. What you have is Potassium deficiency , you can tell from the colorful discoloration. Increase your bloom nutrients, you would be surprised how much potash is used up ! Hope this helps ! 🚀
This grow was alright. I had pH problems which turned into lockout problems but the strain was pretty resilient. Medium stretch, tall pointy christmas tree buds, and quick flower time. I would recommend growing it if you're interested! Will update after dry and cure
good luck with the pre-98 B.K. seems to be a pretty finnicky strain, that struggles to get going. Well worth it if you can get it established and growing.
@Bootymissles ,The BK I have going right now is 3 inch's behind everything else in the tent, only requires water like every 5 days instead of twice a week like the rest, is not really fond of nitrogen, but is a cal/mag hog. Big fat fan leaves. Kind of reminds me of a tropical shrub as far as the stature goes, which is all consistent with my previous experiences with this strain. I hope you get her turned around, because its one of my favorite all time of my own grows once its in the jar, just a pain in the butt getting it there lol.
@CRiSPrGrow, I think you got it right. I fed today with full strength bloom nutes in hopes of helping my ladies. Appreciate your input! I may have starved them when I flushed last time and didn't feed.. oops
