This is my first grow in an indoor grow box. The box was delayed and of course I had already planted some seeds. My first seeds all died because I couldn’t give them proper lighting. I reused the soil, but I’m not sure if that was a smart idea. I found some larvae in the soil and have some flies. I tried to get rid of them by increasing airflow and pointed the fans directly on the soil. Their population seems to grow smaller by the day after I started this. Hopefully they won’t affect the rest of the lifespan.

So, it’s the first week of vegetation and I’m pretty happy so far. My little queen has had some trouble with my watering (I suppose), her leaves started drooping and looked heavy. I skipped watering her and she’s doing better since. The flies from next week have just about all left, also there are no larvae anymore. I’ll start feeding next week.

So, the second week and I must say I'm very happy with my girls. The smaller one has grown slightly slower than the other one, I'll keep an eye on her since I'm not sure about how healthy she is. The flies are still an ongoing problem, there's still two of them that seem to hold on. If anyone has tips on getting rid of them, please let me know. Anyhow, I think I'll start LST'ing somewhere next week.

As you guys can see my girls have grown quite a bit since last week and are starting to look like proper plants. The stems have gotten so much thicker and I've startedtraining both of them. The taller one had some rusty spots on one of the leaves, I took the leave off and bought a pH meter so I'll be sure she's able to absorb the nutrients she needs (should arrive somewhere next week). Also I took off bottom fan leaves that wouldn't produce any bud sites and te ones that were blocked form the light. I'll give the smaller one some more time to produce more nodes and leaves before I tie her down, just to see what works best. The flies are still pretty much gone, but I want to make sure I don't have to deal with pesticides during flower so with the pH-meter I orders some sticky paper to catch the flies that are left. In addition to that I still clean my growroom thoroughly every sunday before or after I update this diary.

I snapped her neck 😭 A couple days ago I tried to pull the smaller one down and put too much force into it, the main stem snapped half way. It's pretty saddening to any weed advocate 😔. As a response to losing the main stem the plant started its flower cycle, Ichanged both of them to the terra bloom and eventhough they're both aufoflowers I changed the light cycle to 12-12 (saves some Watts). Since both plants started their flower stage this sunday I will count this week as a vegitation week. Im really looking forward to next week.

WOW! what a recovery the little one shows. The smaller one I beheaded last week has shown tremendous recovery, she quick started her flower stage and I starting to pack some buds. As you guys can see the stems that are left on her have grown to be thick sturdy stems. The other one has entered the flower stage as well and is showing white threads all over, I expect her to start packing on the buds in the coming week. However, because the plants have entered flower stage at different times it might bring some difficulties with harvesting. I'll already have to think about where I'll put the first one in the 48 hour dark cycle before harvest. All and all I'm really happy with how both of them are doing, sometimes I find myself just looking at them :)

Another week and we're a little further in growth. It's clear the smaller one is in flower big time, big white hairs are everywhere and she smells amazing. The bigger one is a little slower in het flower stage, white hairs are developing, just at a slower pace. I guess it could be because the bigger one has more volume to keep alive. Everything is going well and I'm looking forward to the next week.

It's been a good week, the smaller one is getting closer to harvest by the day. I just ordered a good magnifying thingy too make sure she'll be the best she can be. Also because I've been feeding both my plants from bottles I'll be checking on some more information regarding flushing. I read some people don't flush and it doesn't hurt their end product, what would you guys suggest? The bigger one is starting her growth spurt, so I expect her to form buds within the next two weeks. I'm so excited, I can't wait for the first home grown spliff.

So, it's been a great week. The smaller one of the two is producing thicker buds by the day and man are they sticky. Also the aroma she gives off is astonishing, sweet, full and fruity I can't wait to light her up. On the bigger one you'll see that the gnats have grown in population. I read that it might be because the top layer of the soil stays wet for too long e.g. I water my plants a little too often. I'll try feeding my plants every 3rd day instead of every other day from now on. In my next grow I'll make sure to use a dryer solution with more perlite so I can water my plants a little more often and therefore give them more nutrients. I think it might be time to give the smaller one her 48 hours of darkness somewhere next week, but it might take a little more. We'll see.

So, as you can see I harvested the smaller one. She's drying now and my stupid ass forgot to take her picture before so it'll be a surprise for you guys. The other one keeps getting bigger and since this week is really bursting with white hairs. My plants just keep surprising me, apparently cannabis can make people happy even when we don't smoke it hahaha.

So, this is the first plan (the one I beheaded), I took a one gram test with some friends and of course didn't take a picture of the weight. All together I'm really happy with how the plant turned out, the other one is still growing and I can't wait to see how much she'll produce. So, I just harvested the second one and about 36 grams are left after trimming and drying. I was a little worried I harvested too quickly, but man with the potency of this strain it doesn't even matter. This one gets me really talkative and creative for about 1 hour and then hits me like a bulldozer and I get sleepy AF.

So, she's looking good and is really forming some bigger and denser buds. I've just smoked the last bit I had left of her sister and man what an intense flavour profile, the curing really makes the weed taste better by the day. For this one I started implementing neem oil to get rid of the gnats and it seems to really make a difference. Also I think I have to pace myself, I think I've soon a little to much defoliation the past few weeks so I've decided to only take of the leaves that are absolutely blocking a big portion of buds. I hope this will make sure the plant doesn't stress too much.

So, I decided to repot this plant from a 3 liter pot to a 7 liter pot. I'm hoping that the extra space for root development will result in thickening of the buds. If that is the case I will use this technique to keep my plants small and my buds thick, I'm curious to see. Furthermore the plant Is doing great, she's starting to smell really strong. I took her in the living room for pictures, after 30 minutes the room still smells like this one. I'm really looking forward to smoking this one. I think she'll be ready in 2 maybe 3 weeks. I'm planning on putting her in the dark for 2 days before harvest.

We're getting closer by the day. All hairs have turned brown and are curling up, the trichomes are pretty much all milky and the flowers have been thickening. All of these are signs It's almost time for harvest. Somewhere halfway this week I stopped feeding and I'm only watering this plant. Before I'll harvest I'll wait for the trichomes to become amber, or at least about 10-20% of them. When that happens I'll put her in complete dark for up to 48 hours. And as you guys can see I already took a tester, It's drying for now. I took the tester to get a feel for the type of high that fits the milky trichomes without any amber ones. It should give me more of a head high. The reason I want to test this is because some weeds (White Widow mainly) make my body really tired the day after. I want to find out if the CBN in those amber trichomes are the reason for this feeling. Also, I transplanted her (last weeks diary) and something I didn't expect happend. The smell weakened, she smelled a little stressed and now she still does a little, but also some sweeter aromas came in the mix. I think transplanting at the end of the flower stage might indeed help the plant focus on the buds and also keep her small because the grow of her roots are limited during her grow.

So, I'm pretty proud of this one. As I wrote last week I tested one of the stems to find out if I should harvest early and I found out I was way to early. The buds have a really nice smell and taste already, however a pure blunt only got my mildly high. I've looked at the trichome heads better this time and my claim last time (they're almost all white) is far from the truth. I've finally figured out how my jewellers-loop works and tried to take some pictures through it. On this better inspection I found that most of the heads are still clear which explains why it didn't get me high. Also as you might have noticed I put the light a little closer, the buds have swollen a lot since last week so I think it might be because the have better lighting now.

So, as you guys can see the leaves are starting to die, this might mean two things: 1. it's almost time for harvest. The leaves are dying so the plant can focus its energy on creating a better flower. 2. The leaves are burnt because the light has been too close. I think it's the second, because the trichomes are still clear so it's not time to harvest yet. Also, I did a little research about when it is a good time to start your flush. Apparently it's best to start the flush when the first trichomes are getting milky. All of my trichome heads are still clear so I put her back on nutritions. I'll be on the lookout for the first trichome to turn milky, when that happens I'll start the flush.

As you guys can see I've set this one aside, and it might sound cruel but it's time to die. I just put het in the dark room for 24-48 hours. Something weird happened to the trichomes, about 10% were amber/brownish while some heads were still clear. I decided to cut her light and hopefully the last trichomes will get milky in the dark period so you guys know next week we'll know the yield of my very first grow. Im excited!!
