Started these off in a shot of water in the morning and by lunch time they were ready for a rapid rooter. This will be my second grow ever and first ever grow with autos. First grow I pulled in about 150g of Amnesia Haze off one plant and am looking to learn from my mistakes to hopefully get some better yields and quality. After 2 days they had already ditched their shells and where outgrowing their germination dome so they have been transplanted to their permanent home.
Growth is consistent and we have plenty of roots that have made it through the pot. The LSD was an xmas gift therefore I thought I had GG until I unwrapped the seeds.
So I did something really dumb and blew up my TS600 so they are under a Giixer "1000 Watt" light until I can get a new light. True draw is about 70W but the light has worked just fine while they are this small. Growth is explosive and they are about ready to be topped.
Topped at the end of last week and replaced my weak blurple with a new TS1000 for veg and an additional for Flower. Ladies are loving the light and responding great to the topping.
This is the first week after the topping and the BD is getting bushy and growth is explosive with new growth every morning. LSD looked like it had a bit of a shock to the topping but after going through some other diaries on here they seem to be just fine. they are now being fed full strength and they are loving it!
Day 30 - LSD is having a rough time and I have not seen much new foliage. Just refreshed the reservoir and hoping it come back soon. Blue dream is like night and day with explosive growth. Did some additional LST and LSD is already seeing some flowering stretch.
Day 33-34 Just took some shots of the BD on not much of the LSD. At this point the LSD was really struggling with root rot and I was not really taking too many pics. My reservoir had holes drilled on the side for air hoses but since I went with a top approach then I had to switch to a new reservoir and that really started to help. After a few more reservoir changes with fresh water and low nutes/hydroguard then it really started to recover.
BD is doing great and I am working though helping the LSD recover from a bad case of root rot brought on by a leaky reservoir that was making the temps very high.
Day 45 From Seed/Day11 Flower - Roots are much healthier and we are in full bloom. LSD has recovered very well and there is so much new foliage that it may end up needing a bit of a defol. Have not seen as much of as stretch as I was expecting but it still early in flower.
Day 59 from seed / Day 25 Flower
LSD - Although I failed to provide this girl a good place to vegetate by having it in a leaky bucket that raised the temps upwards of 80F. After putting her in a proper reservoir with a few flushes she has blown up and has many huge colas in the making. I am excited to regrow this strain to its full potential as it is already getting heavy resin growth and smells amazing.
BD - At the the beginning this gal was doing great and had explosive growth all over the place. Since the LSD was doing so badly and I had it down to just a few bud sites then I though the same of the BD and in hindsight I think I would have a beast of a plant on me if I would have just let her go. I can't change the past so what I have now is a thiccc bushy plant without much vertical growth going on in the stretch so I am worried that mold may be an issue later if things get too thiccc😱
