Here are my two gorilla zkittles by Barney Farm I also went with the natural route with this grow. I let them go and see how they will go on their own with no training at all and so far they are turning out really well the canopy is actually pretty even I’m really surprised at the growth versus training . All the bud site are getting light and it’s coming along nicely but I did have to take off a few of the fan leaves that were really large and blocking prime areas. So far the grow is going great and I’ve only watered up to this point. I’ll be starting nutrient feeds within the next week or two.
Coming up on week 6 from seed and they are exploding in growth. I started to see a few deficiencies so I now know that all the nutrients from the soil have been used by plants. They bud sites all have formed and it’s starting to get some of its fruity zkittlez smell. Both plants are now towering over everything in the tent. They are also being grown under a new light, the FC6500 by MARSHYDRO. I started feeding this week and they seem to love it so far.
Week 6 of growth. Nothing much but the buds are getting big. Trichomes are starting to develop, getting sticky. It smells of skittles and a sweet fruity smell.
Week 8 from seed and these girls a doing great. I’m seeing a little rust spots on some of the leaves so I upped the calmag by 5ml. You can smell these things as soon as you open up the tent. It’s pretty cool to see the difference in size even thought they are the same auto flowering strain. Zkittlez #1 is double the size as number 2.
Both girls coming along nicely. Number 1 is more compact and short with closer node spacing and I can tell already she’s going to have nice dense buds. Number 2 is tall and close to 4 foot. The buds are nice and thick and it’s way farther along than number one. I wil for sure have to harvest this one before number one. Barney’s farms states that it will take about 70-75 days for this strain and she starting to yellow already. It’s about day 57 for both. The smell is amazing coming from these girls, the buds are super sticky and resinous. I checked trichomes and there are some cloudy and some clear so I’ll give her another week or 2 before the chop. I’ll go ahead and start the flush as well.
This one finished off early, I like to harvest with some amber trichomes, and mostly cloudy. She is super sticky and has a great smell. I stripped all the sun leaves and left all the sugar leaves to hang dry. The buds are massive. I did zero training and just let her do her thing. I did do some lolli popping around week 3-4 of flower. I don’t really want don’t want any larf. The other girl is still going and putting on more and more weight each day. She’s going to be nice and short and have baseball bat size colas.
