Another one to join my suffering babies 😁
She should have her head up in a couple of days
Update: She's managed to get her head up, think she's coping with the light levels okay.
She's off to a good strong start, nice healthy growth. She's had the full available 30w of LED from day one with out issue. I've just increased the distance of plant to light.
Wondering what else I can do to screw her up 😂
Another happy camper.
Gained a small amount of height, but most of the growth is in the leaves.
She seems happy with the tent environment, and the watering levels.
I fed with half the recommended dose of Bio Grow at the beginning of the week, plain Ph'd water the other time.
Let's see if I can keep it up 😃
Update: Looks like this little one is going to start the new year on a good foot. Have I broken my jinx?, Dobby say's "yes". Happy new year all 😁
Happy with her progress thus far, can't help feeling that this diary is a week ahead of itself really.
This is the start of week 3, end of week 2 if you see what I mean.
The stem on this little one is scarlet, and quite striking. Be interesting to see if it stays that way 😀
Update 6/1: The scarlet girl is the happy one in the tent. No signs of discontent (yet). A problem with one of my other girls has made me address the temp issues in the tent.
I felt they were on the low side now they should stay in the low 20c's.
Maybe she'll get happier, maybe...... 😀
Update 7/1: Fired up my grow/flower tent over the last 24hrs. It's sitting at 24c with lights on, seems like a plan to move her in there, let's hope she is ready for it 😀
Hey all so I've been neglecting my plants and diary for the last couple of weeks. Alas RL stuff getting in the way, but lets get this up to date.
All I've done for the last couple of weeks is feed and water. She is just starting to show signs of flowering, she's not going to be huge (mainly due to early teething troubles) but I think she'll get to harvest 😁.
Today I removed her from the tent and thinned her leaves a little. I thought about training her, but decided against it for now.
See what the next week brings.
Only her small size hints at her difficult start. Seems very happy to me, I'm letting this one grow more natural. I don't think there's any danger of her filling the tent 😂
Well she's not exactly over the moon, but not unhappy either.
Think her feed needs upping. Not sure how I'm going to do it yet. Water more often at same strength of nutes, or up the dose. Either way I'm going to be up against it, her pots on the small side 😀.
I'll have a look see how your she's doing manana.
Update: 8/2 She's drinking more so watered again with nutes. Hopefully I can get on top of her hunger.
This little ones doing ok considering the shaky start. I have a few more of these seeds 😀,be good do see how she does from a running start.
Her flowers are coming on. I was a bit concerned she was getting enough air passing through her, very dense and bushy in there. Thinned her out a bit, and she's starting to get a little sticky. 😋 Used some "bends" clips to open her out even more.
I expect by next week she'll be as bushy as ever, but I tried😀
Update 16/2: getting bushy again
She's getting there. 😁
She's getting plenty of cloudy trichomes, but not so many gold ones yet.
I'm hoping another week or two on this one, with any luck. I'm excited to get a harvest 😀
She's getting a strong smell to her, but she's not overly sticky.
Update 25/2 : She's fattening up nicely, I had another look with the scope, not ready yet. 😀
Well we're all but there. She's got some lovely Autumn colours going on, with a spicy smell.
I haven't bothered getting microscope on her today, I'll do that over the coming days.
Harvest by next week - maybe 😀, her space in the tent has already been booked by others 😂
Update 28/2: After a close look, not ready. Not going to look again until next week
Another week past and Dobby and I say "still not ready"
I've looked up the details on this strain, and they say it's an 11 weeker, so we shouldn't be surprised. It's certainly gold 😁, let's hope it's super as well. It certainly smells super, spicy and tangy. Dobby agrees.
Let's hope we can make this last week, I still need the space in the tent 😀
Super Gold is no more. I could have let her go one more week, but I need the space. Also Dobby took one sniff and hot tailed it out into the back yard like a fire work. I'm taking that as a seal of approval. 😁
So she's been chopped, buds have been washed and hung up to drip dry from Olly. He's had heavier loads, but considering the shaky start, and the 3L pot I'm happy.
I'm a convert to the air pruning pots. In the past I've used cloth pots, the roots always cling to those for dear life, not a problem with these.
Also these plastic air pots dry out slower than cloth pots, but faster than a normal plastic pot. I think I'm happier with the middle ground 😀
The plan now is to let the buds drip dry for a couple of days. Then it'll be a paper bag in the fridge for a couple of weeks before being jarred up.
I'll do a harvest report then. Can't wait 😁
After re-reading the description of this strain on Eurogrow it seems I've done well to control this one, they claim it grows big if allowed. The 3l pot must have helped with this. It's also coped with some far from ideal grow conditions.
It's most striking feature is it's colour, it really did go golden yellow. Some of this may be down to mistreatment by me, but not all.
I'll grow it again. I can see a tent with this, a nice purple strain, and something like white widow making a nice looking tent 😉
20/3 She's had a week in a brown paper bag in the fridge. Still not dry enough to jar up, another week me thinks. Fridge smells great though. 😁
She's been jarred up and sampled. Very energetic vape for me, with a piney taste, but it's early days .
I'll grow her again for sure, I think she'd produce with the right treatment. I'll get there, in the mean time still happy 😁
@Nickeluring, I'm not very good with the smell game. I'm sure a resounding "GGGRRREAT" isn't going to do it for you.😀 Personally I'd say earthy and spicy, with the help of Dobby we also get cloves suggested but that's a bit beyond me 😺
The most striking thing about this plant was the colour change, she really did go golden. Some of that may have been down to under feeding by me, but it's also her nature for sure.
