Once they sprouted I moved them off to the side of the 1500W light and had it raised all the way up. This is my first grow so I didn't want to burn them but they stretched and needed to be much closer to the light. I dropped the light to 28" from the top of the plant on day 5. Tried 24" and it was too strong.
I have them on a 18/6 light schedule. I am waiting until the soil is dry about 3/4" down and watering them moderately. No nutrients yet. The soil is a basic home mix just to get them started. They will be transplanted into good soil fairly soon. Straight tap water.
The first White Widow (WW) and the first Special Kush #1 (SK#1) took off very quick. The second SK#1 did nothing at all. The second WW was VERY slow to stand and open leaves. This may have been my fault because I think when I placed the seed into the soil I left a gap around the seed. It had trouble making a tap root long enough to stand itself up. Fixed that and she opened up.
