Just amazed at how fast they are growing. Started playing Mozart on a speaker for them during the day. Trying to dial in watering amount with coco using the lift method.
They love the 6.5 water! I began LST and leaf tucking to start shaping her. Very easy once you figure out the weight of the fabric bags with water and without. The meters work well too. They have become my girls and I love them.
I decided to keep up with her LST about ever 24-48hrs. Trying to expose as many possible sites. The growth at the end of this week has been amazing. They listen to music every day.
Starting to stink! Citrus banked pie! At the end of these the girls started flowering. I added worm castings and one shot granules to meet their new need. All the LST payed off big so far. Will do a tea for them soon. Turned on the dehumid to 50%. Also watered with Sledgehammer which is an organic yuccus extract. The girl with the most sites is already craving phosphate <3
One of the Lemon Pies is hungry. We took care of her really good. It is a pleasure growing these genetics and taking their pictures. They are getting thirsty mid week 6. The bigger one I used a lot of LST on her and it is paying off, she will be a big yielder. Noticed the first sign of trichome resin productions at the very end of this week 6.
Trichome production has started and looking great. Towards the end of this week it really picked up. Its been a pleasure growing these. The pina colada started really fat and leafy but changed and spread very well. Lowered PH and watering around 2L per plant dailyish. I still pick my pots up and only water the lightest.
Smell is turning strong. Butt loads of limonene! The trichome coverage is great! Buds are swelling up. Pina coladas are off to the races and passing up the LPs.
Harvesting for hash, I have my eyes closely on the bracts! Fantastic strains to grow, very healthy! Normal continued defoliation. Smells like someone poured pledge in the room. Cutting back on nutes and using colder ph balanced water to hope for more resin.
Flushing with carbon filtered ro 6.0 water and starting to lower water temperature. Keeping my eye on the bracts and the amber trichome ratio. Defoliation of majority of long stem fan leaves. Frosty nugs :) They love the spider-famer Samsung diodes. USE code KCROSIN at checkout! https://www.spider-farmer.com/?ref=ujc3l6ohalhr
Bracts and heads are where I would like them. This is the final moments with the girls' before I chop to hang dry. Its been a pleasure growing Fast Buds and Mosca genetics and plan to glow more in the future. Next run after reset I will be installing a auto pot system. The terpenes smell great and I look forward to processing these girls. Hand fed 6.0-6.5 carbon ro water the entire grow and they loved it. I'll post a more complete overview at harvest. Smells like a tropical pinesol in the room.
I try to maximize my trim so I include all lowers and buds smaller than eggs. +217g Dry large nugs, +129g lowers/trim. Terpene profile is on point and the effects are wonderful for a day sativa.
The nug structure was not as dense so I decided to freeze the majority of pina! +66.5g dry large nugs and +179g lowers/trim. This strain really really stinks like a tropical lemon drink! Overall it was very easy to grow and I cant wait to process her.
