All five seeds sprouted with 10 hours of each other between the fourth and fifth day. They were germinated in soil, in their final 3gal smart pots to reduce transplant shock and possibility of stunting. They are under 4ea 6500K and 2ea 5000K fluorescents at about 2-3" from the top of seedlings. Using square disposable cooktop protectors as reflective mulch. The soil is FFOF cooked for one week in the smart pots with Aurora Roots Organic Oregonism XL, flushed to remove some of the nutrients, then re-inoculated with the Oregonism XL before direct planting the seedlings at approximately 3/4" depth. Top of soil was kept moist via spray bottle up until vegetation emerged, then ceased all spraying. Addition: I'm going to be using a slightly modified version of the Roots Organic feeding schedule, sans any nutrients for the first few weeks depending on how the seedlings do, and also shorter due to their chart being twelve weeks long and this strain should finish at nine weeks.

The five ladies are looking good as of 2/6, first day of the second week. They have been doing very well in their three-gallon smart pots with reflective mulch, and haven't needed an additional watering as of yet. I also have not been misting or spraying anything, but will be doing a very light foliar feeding this week, I'm just waiting on the leaves to plump up just a bit. The mixed ration above is for the entire bottle, but only 1 spray mist will be used per plant, and this will be done after the lights are off to increase nutrient uptake.

Week Three off to a great start. After having fed dry nutrients last week, Im noticing the slightest amount of nitrogen toxicity in the leaf tips. I flushed with two gallons each. Luckily it had been two weeks since their last watering, so they werent too far off my normal watering schedule. Pushing back the liquid nutrients another week or more. Thanks for liking, following, and leaving a comment or question!

The ladies reall grew a lot last week, gaining three to four inches. Flowering started at 18 days at about the sixth node, surprisingly fast! So day week four day one is three days into flowering The plants got a healthy dose of fertilizer, all from the roots organic line. I use the dry and liquid ingredients both, and also their amazing microbial complex Oregonism XL. I aerate my nutrient mix for approximately 24 hours before dosing due to the ph crashing to 4 when the nutrients are added, but it comes back up to 6.5. All plants looking good! Edit: Flushed again due to more nitrogen toxicity! Re fertilizing next week sans any nitrogen.

The ladies grew 12 solid inches last week and are now past their respective halfway points in time and height. Flowering is coming along well, and the nitrogen toxicity is well under control now. I am now feeding a severely reduced nitrogen nutrient mix until I start to see signs of decifiency, which may not happen. The support net is in place as well, as nitrogen toxicity can leave stems weakened and I do not want to lose any plant material to breakage.

The girls grew a bunch last week, and have officially stopped stretching. Feeding dry nutes this week to address some issues, but otherwise healthy and bug free! Looks like a bit of a ph problem to my eyes. Water in was 6.3, water out 6.8... Slowly trying to bring it down without shocking the girls, but we'll see how it turns out. Going to water in Trinity by Roots and their OregonismXL and bring my ph down .3 per watering until runoff measure below 6.5, then bring my water in back up to balance it out. I believe what is causing this is the Roots Elemental, I shouldn't have added it in as a side dressing, instead it needs to be bubbled and mixed with the liquid nutes to balance out the higher ph. Any advice is appreciated, thanks for commenting, sharing, and liking! Happy grows

Girls are still recovering from their ph imbalance but should make it, they just wont be pretty and green while doing it. Will update again when I feed, but currently ph in is 6.3, down from 6.5 and my runoff is a whopping 6.8. Ill be lowering the ph of the tea which is Roots Trinity 1 TBL per gallon and OregonismXL at 1 tsp per three gallons, until my runoff is down below 6.5. Wish me luck!

The ladies are looking great and have recovered very well from their higher ph early on. I will be adjusting the next grow appropriately. The buds are coming in nicely, and should start to plump up this week. Hoping to see a good amount of fattening, but so far yield looks like 1-1.5oz/plant. I will be sewing up some custom bags to fit my space better and increase my veg capacity to six, and increase soil size to 5 gallons without sacrificing height. Thanks for following, liking, and commenting!

Gals are looking great! Starting to fill out and the smell is getting intense. The smell is one part sour diesel and five parts rotten fruit/GSC. Not my favorite, I wish it was more tropical fruity and sour, the rotten fruit aroma reminds me of pipe tobacco.

Still going strong, not quite done yet. Going to chop these on day 65, even if early. The next round will go the full cycle. They started turning purple as well this week, I wish I didnt have babies that need their space in the tent!

We've got some male bits showing up on one of the ladies, im trying to decide whether or not to keep one of the pollen sacs and isolate the branch to get some seeds or to pinch the last one off. Could save money down the road, on the other hand it could ruin a crop! I would love some thoughts or ideas! Happy grows

@Mescaline, wish I had an open window! Darn north facing windows... I let the single pollen sac mature, then pinched it off and rubbed it between my thumb and finger. I then used my thumb and finger to pollinate one of the smaller bud site's pistils. So far so good, I think I got the sucker just before it popped open. Time will tell

Mescalinecommented8 years ago
@Longhunter, hi! Good lookn girls! =) You should isolate male plant, then collect some pollen. It could give pollen even on the window with no risk to your ladies =)

Looking great! Will 5 plants fit in your box? They may tear your box to pieces :D
Longhunter
Longhuntercommented8 years ago
@HolyTHC, I agree. I think five is good, and I can cut 3.5 weeks or so off my grow time by vegging out of my tent under CFLs on my shelf. Happy grows and thank you. :)

@Longhunter, it maybe would, but it is not worth already, cuz these older ladies soon will be even bigger and will leave only very small space for young one. Nice gals, bro :)
Longhunter
Longhuntercommented8 years ago
@HolyTHC, I went ahead and moved them down, as they are stretching quite a bit! This weeks photos give a better representation of the tent space to plant ratio. Also, I can only fit 5 of my 3 gal smart pots under 4' of fluorescents, so putting more in isn't feasible at this time. One more would fit though, do you think? Happy grows :)

Hi man! Girls are looking great! You got nice conditions, why such short veg? What`s the volume of bags?
Longhunter
Longhuntercommented8 years ago
@Mescaline, Im running three gallon smart pots. The Sour Stompers are said to be harvestable at day 65, so they are very quick to veg before flowering. Everything seems to be on schedule, though! Thanks for checking in, Happy grows!
