Build A Soil Living Organic Soil 3.0 is the substrate.
I soaked the seed for 12 hours in water before planting. 5 days after planting the sprout popped through the soil.
I use tap water. I remove Chlorine and Chloramine using vitamin C. (0.05 grams per gallon of water)
I seeded the substrate with cover crop mix. Then I covered it with worm castings and barley straw mulch.
