Week 6 was an interesting one. I learned a lot this week. My plant was doing fine, but one day I woke up and I noticed the plant was mad droopy. I didn't think I had overwatered the plant because I feed her one gallon of water every three days which I think is really on the safe side of overwatering. (if not under watering) I did notice that the weather outside had become colder at night and perhaps my heater wasn't set at a high enough temp. I checked the temp inside of the tent and it said 60 F. Since this is my first time growing in winter I had to do some research and it turns out the ideal temp of the tent is much higher than 60. 72-77F is ideal from what I have read. I changed the temp setting for the heater in the tent and sure enough the plant is bouncing back. I have to now be much more mindful of the temp of the tent. Overall in three days with better heat settings the plant is starting to spring upwards at the flower areas which I'm super stoked about. I do think I have slowed the growth of the buds by half a week or so. It'll prob set the harvest day back a few days.
* Lesson learned= plants like a warmer climate ha
I also started feeding her small amounts of FloraBloom today 1/13. According to 2Fast4Buds this breed is sensitive to nutrients. Since I am using Strawberry Fields soil already, I decided to add a half teaspoon in her watering today. If she responds well I will continue to give small amounts of nutrients every watering. (I have see other grow diaries which have used nutrients and their buds look dannnkkk) lol so I'm gonna do the same. Hopefully these nutrients will help the plant with any deficiencies it may have.
Week 7 should be fun. I'll probably do another defoliation to the plant once she bounces back and rest for a day or two.
