The first crop was small. My bad but quality was exelent. So I thought . There is a few bits of green at the bottom. I've done regenerate from seed stock. Can't hurt to try
I'm using Pro Mix from Rona. I don't use a fertilizer schedule. If the leaves start to show deficiency I will feed the micro organisims in my soil . Then I don't need to flush and the smoke is ultra smooth.
I'm am excited about my results. The Auto did a good job of regenerating. Flowers are starting but rather irregular growth.
I re potted the auto into a larger container to help feed the flowers.
I use Pro Mix no other nutrients. I add an inch of soil( top dress) every two weeks or when plants need it.
Five weeks after cutting down the Early Miss seedling the same plant is giving me a second crop. I have done regenerating before but not with Ruderalis genetics. Two weeks after I started the regenerate process. I repotted into a larger container same pro mix soil. Regenerating involves keeping healthy green growth and removing all flowers. The new growth was easily seen after one week. I had no idea how a plant that flowers based on morphology instead of chronology. The results are interesting. She has different branches that are at many stages of flowering. There are many new green shoots coming from the base of the plant.
I know the yield won't be great but this Early Miss Phennotype is beautiful to look at. Dark green leaves , vigorous growth , very frosty flowers with a sweet unique flavour.
I wonder if having a biodynamic soil that has no chemical fertilizer allows the plant to recover and regenerate quickly.
As a control I have a second Early Miss Auto at 7 weeks. It has light emerald green leaves and looks similar to the plants I have seen on grows in GD .
I added Gia Green power bloom . A bit late but I only re potted this girl a few weeks back.
A day later the scent from this plant was pronounced. Sweet and skunky. Not overwhelming but a pleasant odor permeating from my closet😁
Buds are forming and swelling. This plant is dark green! It's not too much nitrogen as all my other girls are not as dark. It's also very hardy . Would make a great out door plant.
The flowers all mature at different rates. So much mis information about autos.
Yes you can regenerate autos.
Yes you can clone autos and go through normal veg flower cycle and get a large yield.
No Autofems do not go into flower and just die.
Like all cannabis it's adaptive .
It flowers based on maturity of the plant Not age!!!!
So if you pinch the tops in vegative you will get a larger plant.
I have seen a beautiful auto clone that finished with a very respectable yield. I have not tried cloning Autos my self.
As for chopping an Auto and putting back to 20 hours. In my case I got a second full size plant! The crop will not be as big but autos from a same strain can have very different phennos. If I get an auto that really impressed me than it's worth it to do regenerating.
What a hardy plant! Probably a good out door strain. This plant was small but my second plant is huge! The taste is mild with no bite no coughing. I want flavour . Early Miss is ok for flavour but nothing extraordinary.
