Root soak with liquid kelp and humic acid. Will Foliar spray once a week with fulvic, kelp and yucca. Following VPD for early veg where leaf temp is 2 degrees cooler than room temp.😇. Waiting for roots to poke thru the pots before transplant to larger pots.. Keeping RH no more than 60% to help with calcium uptake. Week 1 in Veg ran Dec 27th to Jan 2nd/2021.

Today Jan 14/2021 is 19 Days in Vegetative Growth. I have procrastinated as usual so I must plant them in larger pots today. Finally got them planted in 3.9 Gal pots, reusing my soilless medium 50% with new medium. Used rain water EC 0.3, PH 5.9, Temp 22C .

Working on expanding the room in order to save on electricity. Previously had 2 separate rooms. Removing the wall between, which will allow me to share the space but use only 1 mini split or air conditioner and dehumidifier and or humidifiers. This is the plan, will see if it works as plants get larger.😕 Topped one plant today(Jan 23) and fimmed the rest Jan 20th, will continue to defoliate, seems like I should always do more of it than I do. Plants are ranging from 10 - 12" tall on Day 28 Veg. Sprayed once a week with fulvic, kelp, yucca. Using RO water and adding a little well water to bring EC up 50-100 for buffering. Once all was added EC was 1.6 and I ran out of RO water😵 I hope I don't get too much damage.

Today Jan 26th I took the first Brix reading of this grow😞. The plants look healthy to me, not too green, the leaves look like their "flying" and they seem to be comfortable in their pots. I thought the Brix would be higher. 2 Plants at 4 Brix, 9 Plants at 5, 1 Plant at 6 Brix. Jan 26th Sprayed with fulvic, kelp and yucca after Brix was taken. Jan 27 Day 32 - Watered with silicate, humic, kelp, B vitamin. PH 6.0, EC 0.6, Temp 20

Defoliation will decrease your plants ability to produce energy, reducing growth potential. Simple plant biology. Brix is just another way to get people to spend money and is something to do with nutritional values of food you eat and will not increase the potency of your flowers. Any good source of humic and/or fulvic acids will do exactly what you are looking for, without needing any sort of "wonder nutrient". Hope this helps,..... Organoman.

Took down the wall this week,, drywall dust is a drag even though I covered plants with a sheet. Trying to improve the Brix by balancing the nutrients and providing bio-stimulants ( humic, fulvic acids , protein hydrolysates, peptides) to help the plants uptake the nutrients. Both by root soak and foliar spray. Jan 31st is the First Day of Week 6 or Day 36 in Veg. Will Brix tonight & update when lights come on. A reverse osmosis system should be installed today which will be able to supply the quantity of water needed.. Watered last night PH 6.0, EC 1.1, Temp 20, I wasn't able to "temper" or dilute with more water😣 Runoff was high PH 5.7, EC 1.9, Temp 22. Running VPD where leaf temp is 4 degrees cooler than room temp. 7 Plants had no change Brix of 5 3 Plants went up 1 point to Brix of 6 1 Plant went up 1 point to Brix of 7 1 Plant went up 2 points to Brix of 8 Today Sat Feb 6th is 42 Days in Veg,,, Watered today PH 6.0, EC 1.4 Temp 22 Runoff = PH 5.8, EC 1.6 Temp 22 6 Plants @ 5 Brix 4 Plants @ 6 Brix 1 Plant @ 7 Brix 1 Plant @ 9 Brix Plants are emitting a skunky smell when touched, pruned or crushed😀

Today Feb 9th switch to 12/12. Watered today with RO water EC buffered to 0.1. Input = PH 6.0 EC 0.9 Temp 24, Runoff = PH 5.8 EC 1.6 Temp 21. Haven't found the "sweet" spot yet in regard to feeding. From Homegrown Hydroponics: If PH goes down while EC goes up the plants are putting nutes into water rather than taking them up! OH Boy If PH goes up while EC goes down; plants are taking up nutrients = slightly increase nutrients If PH and EC remain stable ; plants are taking up equal amounts of water and nutrients this is great and a goal😐 Grow room is lovely and I'm grateful . Best wishes to all plant lovers😇 Document, document, document...Thanks Grow Diaries👏 you make record keeping easy! My memory is deficient! Feb 24/2021 - Was the 16th Day of Flower and Day 60. Room has been running well, smallest plant is 18", most are 38", 3 are 42" high. Pistils are white, pom poms are coming on strong. March 9, 2021 = First day of Week 5, Plants are 29 Days In Flower and 73 Days Old. Watered today and Runoff was too high on some so I kept adding until EC came down, It took quite a bit of water. Usually They are quite light when I water on the third day. Osmotic stress I guess is good for creating trichomes. The buds are showing frost which makes me smile. These are the healthiest plants I've grown. Watering every other day, using left over RO water from last feed with a little more phosphorous and potassium. and cal mag and fulvic and molasses added... EC 1.5 PH 6.2 Temp 20. Runoff was within 500 ppm higher than input (yikes). (still going for same input & runoff😒); its a dam goal ! These last couple of weeks seem to take forever. Praying to the ganga gods😇 that it finishes OK. March 29/2021 Brix is increasing, highest brix is 14 on 2 plants, brix of 10 on 5 plants, Brix of 9 on 3 plants, Brix of 8 on 1 plant, Brix of 7 on 1 plant.

April 4th 2021 is Day 55 in Flower, Niagara's Own Seed says their Wedding Cake takes 50 -55 Days. These seeds are great 5 beans for $35 or $40 Canadian. Can't beat the quality and the price! Wish some seed company on here would offer such great prices! Trichomes are mostly milky viewed with a 60X loop. Plants are sticky and smelly. Buds are dense not an airy fluffy bud in sight😍. This is the frostiest bud I've grown to date I think. Some pistils are still white and sticking up straight while others look they are curling in. Since I didn't put up netting or bamboo stakes the branches aren't holding the bud weight so supporting with rope from ceiling hook works OK.

April 10 /2021- Is 61 Days In Flower Week 9 In Flower. Flushing this week. Trichomes are cloudy and a few amber. The chop will be soon! Hope this run will provide lots and lots of medicinal qualities😎. They are sticky with some frost. Thanks for taking a look. Hope that maybe some info in Diary may help a grower along the way. I'm learning as I grow and growing as I learn. Plants are developing better with each run. Thanks😀

2nd week flushing, watching trichomes with a 60X loupe waiting for a few amber. One plant was chopped last night and hung...patiently waiting for the others😑 Well I decided to take Roberts suggestion and try 2 days of total darkness (thanks) before chopping down the rest. Removed the fan leaves and chopped the ladies down 😇hung them to dry in a dark room with indirect air movement. RH 55% at 20C for 3 days then RH 50% at 18C for a couple of weeks, then mason jars and then lastly 62%Boveda. Will update with dry weight and smoke report😎 Thanks for your comments and suggestions

Do home growers test the THC levels of their harvests (other than smoke one)? Rather than using a LAB is there an accurate test or tool that will measure percentage or strength?

I ended up buying a tcheck device which is pretty handy and compared to lab tests it is quite accurate. I really think it is a good investment because not only can you test flower you can test concentrate and oils

Wedding Cake by Niagara's Own Seed - Excellent Choice. Fantastic Value! Masters of Genetics! Plants were provided with a good environment, fair quality nutrients and great light and they responded well with many many trichomes, a good sweet skunky smell and taste. They were sturdy and frosty plants with dense colas. No pest or mold problems. Turned quickly with many budding sites. Would absolutely grow again.

I felt that I should of provided nutrition more frequently than I did and I probably stopped nutrition earlier than I should but they had a good watering of only PH'd RO water at the end. Trichomes were cloudy with a few amber. 5.83 Ounces per plant was the yield😎 10 Day Cure Smoke Report - Fingers stick together as you break open buds and the smell erupts from the rolling tray. Pleasant, skunky and earthy, sweet and peppery on exhale. Melts away tension; arthritic joints are soothed and quieted. Mellow and uplifting with mindful introspection. Immediately thinking of tasks or projects. No rapid heart beat, no paranoia, no dry mouth. 2nd Puff felt like a cozy blanket😍

Wow you vegged for 6 weeks (not 6 months), used proper grow techniques like not pruning or torturing the shit out of them and you got healthy buds (not larf) with very efficient yield at the end im sure. Just nice to see.
