She is getting very bushy and full. Looks very healthy. I'm having a hard time getting the RH above 50%, running a humidifier full tilt 24X7 but can't seem to get over 50%. New light for this grow and it's making a huge difference. Last grow under a much less powerful light cause plants to stretch for the light and get quite spindly, not with this light. They are growing very dense and full, I have high hopes for this crop
She has developed a lot of buds. I'm not going to trim or top this plant. On my last grow I did a good bit of trimming on a different strain of auto. They didn't do too well. The light I was using was not nearly strong enough which I'm sure contributed to the small yield and the extremely leggy plant that developed. With the new light my plants are shorter and much more dense. I have a White Widow Auto in the same grow, she is about 3 weeks behind the Gorilla Glue. Quite pleased with both at this time.
This girl is doing well, quite bushy and short, she's not getting much taller week to week, but has a lot of bud sites. No training or clipping I'm letting these girls grow as natural as I can. Feeding Tiger Bloom every other watering, gave them nutes today 1/17. She looks very healthy and strong. Not much to do but keep filling the humidifier and try to get RH above 50%, so far haven't had any luck with that.
This girl continues to spread out and not add much height, she's only added an inch in the last week but has gotten significantly more dense. Had to trim a few, (3-4) fan leaves that were blocking big bud sites so they could get some light. I wasn't going to trim this plant at all but the density seems to demand that I remove some of the fans that were directly blocking big bud sites from the light. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this plant. This is my third attempt to grow this strain, the previous three failed mostly due to farmer error, poor light, poor environmental control, etc. This grow has a new, brighter light and better control of conditions and it's paying off. Adding Tiger Bloom to every other watering and watering on average every other day. Looking good.
This girl is not getting taller week over week, but she is filling out a bit more. Trichomes are all clear at this point. Buds are still a bit on the small side, but I have hope that they will fill out over the next couple of weeks before she's ready to harvest. Switched to straight water with no nutes to flush her out before harvest which should be in about 2 weeks from my best guess. RH is low but I can't seem to get it any higher, running the humidifier 24X7 and can't get RH above 40%. The ambient air is super dry right now so the grow room is better than the rest of the house, but still low. Everything else is right in spec. I'll hold final judgment on this plant till I harvest her and see what the yield looks like. This seed is from True North seed bank, and is the only one of the five seeds I got from them that survived. 2 others sprouted but didn't get far, and this one has progressed to this point but just doesn't seem to be thriving as I hoped. Goes to show you that where you buy your seeds matters. Wouldn't recommend True North based on my success with this purchase. 5 seeds, one plant that's not doing as well as I'd hoped. My other plant a White Widow auto from Homegrown Cannabis is doing much better, check her out in my other diary.
This plant is getting close to harvest. Trichomes are starting to turn milky, guessing one more week to harvest. Buds are getting fat and heavy, nice and dense. I clipped one of the lower colas to dry and test for taste. Smell is getting strong and I removed a bunch of yellowing fan leaves from the bottom of the plant to help her concentrate on bud growth. It will be interesting to see the difference between what I took today to the final harvest. She has stayed smallish and is only 13" tall but quite bushy, lots of buds and all are nice and dense.
This plant started off slow and never got tall at all, she stayed low and bushy. Flowers are big and fat and very dense. Still drying so I don't have dry weight yet. Also haven't tasted it yet. I'll update after I taste the first bud trimmed a week before harvest.
I cut this plant down 10 weeks and 3 days from sprouting. Trichomes were mostly cloudy and she had a lot of nice fat buds. The top cola is huge and firm. I took one bud a week ago and it should be ready to spark up today for a first glimpse of how it smokes. The entire plant is hanging in the grow room since Thursday. I'll get the wet weight today
