This week was crazy because they grew like crazy. I sprayed with nutrient tea starting at the end of last week every other day since then and it payed off!!!
Ok farmers so this week the temps dropped in Skunktopia and the citizen’s didn’t like it at all once the soil became cold. I added a heating mat to bring the soil temp back up but not before the plants suffered some damage. The plants are started coming back around. They’re happy again!!😁
I switched the lights in Skunktopia to 12 hrs this week and sprayed and watered with a compost, kelp and mycorrhiza tea...yummy!!!!Towards the end of the week the race towards the light was on so the lights were increased from 60% to 75% of full power😀
Top dressed with high phos fruit bat guano and defoliation was performed on the entire tent. I removed everything below the top two nodes on each branch. The response in growth has been amazing!!!
Besides one plant that's light green this week went well with lots of growth. Oh and the season changing caused the temps to spike 7 degrees during lights out.
Skunktopia is in a temp sensitive location so last week at lights on the temps were 50s and this week temps were back to the 30s at lights on outside the tent. Root zones dropped 4.5 degrees. Plant zone is warm but the root zone is much cooler.
At the beginning of the week I added a duct fan and ran a duct to the window for more fresh spring air. They seem to like it. After adding the air intake I didn't pay them much attention this week. I trusted the process They seem to be doing ok. I wonder?
New pistils started to show up and the buds are starting to get dense. The smell is sweet ands just a little citrus but sweet like a candy smell. The flowers are very sticky. I have one fast flowering pheno in the lot of 11. On this one most of its Trichomes are 80% milky already and it's looked different than the rest since flowering started. The rest are still a couple of weeks from harvest. I think 🤔
Everything went ok this week. They seem to still be drinking ok but not as much. The flowers are hard dense. I also notice the smell isn't as strong a week ago. This week I downgraded the tea to just molasses and my diy compost.
I learned a bunch growing these plants and the harvest was well worth the effort it took. 300 watt actual power consumption for lights so I think I'll give this strain another run in the future. The smoke is smooth the smell is potent fruity with a touch of citrus. I dried to 67% then placed buds in a plastic bin for one week burping 4 times a day for 15 minutes then Jared at a humidity of 63% with 62% bóveda packs for one week burping twice a day . After 10 days of I exchanged the 62% packs for 58% packs. Burns smooth and tastes great but I'm going to see what it tastes like in a couple more weeks.
