SUMMARY: Second Grow ever after an ok first grow. I germinated 2 seeds initially, a Barneys Farm Wedding Cake Auto and a Fast Buds Gorilla Cookies Auto though I stupidly forgot to take note of which was which when germinating and one of them didn't make it. SO..."Jesus" (born on Christmas Day) is either a Wedding Cake Auto by BF or a Gorilla Cookies by FB. I will need some assistance in determining which one it is and I guess no one will know until well into flower. I used both the "Glass of Water" technique and the "Paper Towel" method to germinate the seeds as I did with my first grow though sadly this time I didn't have 100% success and "Seed Y" failed to germinate. "Seed X" then became "Jesus" after sprouting on 25/12/2020. Sunday 20th December 14:25 The seeds went into a glass of room temperature (21°C) rain water at a pH of 6.3 and were placed in the tent in darkness at a temp of 25°C. Monday 21st December 20:45 The seeds were still floating but sunk immediately after a light tap. I soaked some kitchen roll in the water and then rung it out so it was just wet but not dripping and placed the seeds onto it folding it over gently twice and then sealing it in a ziplock back. I placed the ziplock bag in the the tent which is controlled at 25°C leaving it in darkness. I also soaked the coco coir which is ready in 5 gallon fabric pots so that it will not be bone dry when I plant the seeds. I realized at this point that I did not take note of which seed was which and so I wont be able to gauge which plant is which until they have flowered properly. This will make documenting the grow awkward as I will have to label them A and B. Tuesday 22nd December 20:15 Not quite ready to plant yet. One of the seeds is showing a tap root of roughly 1/2 cm and the other whilst the tap root hasn't popped out yet I can see it beginning to emerge. Wednesday 23rd December 13:00 Seed X now has a tap root of roughly 1-1.5cm whereas Seed Y tap root hasn't quite popped out yet though it's broken the seal and is visible. I hope to be able to plant them both this evening. I mixed 12L of rainwater with calmag and pH'd it to 6.0 with 1L of it at 6.1. Wednesday 23rd December 20:20 Seed Y tap root still not popped out, exactly the same as it was at 13:00 today which is concerning. Seed X tap root now atleast 2cm. Hoping to see 1cm of tap root out of Seed Y tomorrow otherwise it might be a dud...the tap root has emerged though so I dont know. Thursday 24th December 10:10 Planted both seeds and gently sprayed roughly 45-50ml of pH'd rainwater with calmag. Planting Seed X was awkward due to the length of the tap root making it difficult to plant with it facing down. I am worried about both failing to sprout now. Seed Y tap root still not stretched though it has emerged ever so slightly more than it was yesterday which still gives me hope it might sprout. To be on the safe side though I have germinated an amnesia auto from Seedsman just in case Seed Y doesn't make it.

SUMMARY: I kept the coco around the seedling area moist by giving it roughly 30-50ml of rainwater and calmag for the first 3 days, not allowing the coco around the seedling to fully dry out. On Day 4 I started to increase the amount up to 80ml and then 100ml by Day 5. The seedling developed its first true leaves (serrated) on Day 2 or 3 from sprout. I lowered the light from 32" to 24" above the pot after reviewing some videos on YouTube (particularly Mr Canucks Grows). I started nutes on Day 6 from sprout as I was trying to see if the seedling could manage the first week off its own resources but I shit out on day 6. I am using the Drain-To-Waste Nutrient Schedule from GWE (growweedeasy.com) which is exactly the same as the older Coco Coir Nutrient Schedule on GWE that I used for my first grow. https://www.growweedeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/drain-to-waste-flora-series-schedule.pdf DAY 1 ------- Friday 25th December 10:20 Seed X has sprouted. The medium was drying out a little and so I gave another 50 squirts of rainwater/calmag around the seedling area. Friday 25th December 21:50 Plant X is now about 1cm tall and will be known from here on out as "Jesus". Seed Y has still not sprouted yet. I gave each pot 50 squirts (roughly 20-30ml) of rainwater and calmag to keep the medium around the seed/plant moist. DAY 2 ------- Saturday 26th December 10:15 Sprayed both pots with 50 squirts of water (20-30ml) to keep the coco around the seed/plant moist. Seed Y still not sprouted. Saturday 26th December 21:55 Seed Y still not sprouted and so I'm becoming doubtful it ever will. DAY 3 ------- Sunday 27th December 13:30 Seed Y still not sprouted and so I assume it never will. I gave roughly 80-100ml to Jesus and 60 squirts to Seed Y (still hoping) to keep the mediums moist. DAY 4 ------- Monday 28th December 12:00 Seed Y is officially dead, no signs of life. I gave Jesus roughly 100ml of rainwater and calmag. Jesus is around 3cm tall now with 4 leaves (including the cotyledon leaves) meaning it already has its first "true" leaves. The "true" serrated leaves first appeared yesterday and so I really need to start irrigation for Jesus. Monday 28th December 20:15 I dropped the light from 32" above the pot to 24" after noticing Mr Canucks has his light at 24" height. Still no signs of life from Seed Y and so I carefully and gently pushed the coco to the side until I could see the seed. There appears to be some change albeit marginal and the tap root still hasn't popped out, just emerged out the crack more. I would consider this dead and was going to bin it tonight and plant a Northern Lights auto seed straight into the coco. However people reporting seeds in similar state to mine popping after 8-10 days and strongly advising patience in these situations has made me decide to hold off another 48hrs. I gently placed the seed in a shallower hole (1cm) and gave roughly 50 squirts of water (30ml) to moisten the surrounding coco. I gave Jesus another 50ml (gently poured from the bottle this time as opposed to sprayed) to keep the coco moist. DAY 5 ------- Tuesday 29th December 10:40 Jesus is still the same height with seemingly no growth in last 24hrs. Seed Y still not sprouted. I gave Seed Y 60-70 squirts of rainwater and calmag to keep the coco moist and I gave Jesus 100ml gently poured around seedling and also sprayed roughly 20 squirts. My humidifier appears to be having issues as it is not producing the same amount of moisture. At highest setting it appears to be producing the same level as the lowest and the RH in the tent has plummeted from 80%+ to around 40%. I have placed plastic cups over the seedlings to increase humidity (sprayed inside of cups first). Tuesday 29th December 20:15 Turns out the humidifier is fine and it's me having issues on account of me being a dumbass. The power cable was getting wedged inbetween the water tank and base unit preventing it from being seated properly thus not being able to work properly. I gently poured 100ml around Jesus. The plastic cup has made a noticeable difference as Jesus has flourished a little since this morning. Seed Y still not sprouted...if no signs in the morning I'm going to take it out and plant a Northern Lights seed directly into medium. DAY 6 ------- Wednesday 30th December 14:00 I have held off on nutes so far but I mixed some week 1 nutes from the GWE nute schedule and pH'd it to 6.1. Seed Y is officially dead and has been for a while. I gently dug it up and whilst it had changed since planting it didnt look like it was going to make it and I cant give it anymore time. I gave Jesus 200ml of week 1 nutes. [30°C/60%] DAY 7 ------- Thursday 31st December 13:00 I pH'd some rainwater to 6.3. Wanted 6.0 but after 30 FUCKING MINUTES of fucking around I had to settle for 6.3 (pH pen is shit). All pots in need of some water but none have dried out too much i.e. no dry dusty coco on top layer. I gave the Amnesia 70 squirts of rainwater and calmag and gave 80 to the Northern Lights seed which is still yet to sprout. For Jesus, I have her Thursday 31st December 21:30 I was already concerned that I might be giving insufficient water for optimal growth at this stage and after watching some vids on YouTube today I decided I should give more water to each pot. I gave roughly 500ml to Jesus, just enough to saturate the area around the seed. I gave the Amnesia roughly 200-300ml gently poured and I actually got roughly 50-100ml runoff (didnt measure). I gave the NL seed 60 sprays directly on top of where the seed is planted and then gently poured water around the seed area to gently saturate it. Mr Canucks on YT advises not giving enough water during germination and seedling stage stunts root development and therefore stunts growth.

SUMMARY: I started to up the water this week as I'm a bit concerned I should be giving her more. DAY 8 ------- Thursday 31st December 13:00 I pH'd some rainwater to 6.3. Wanted 6.0 but after 30 FUCKING MINUTES of fucking around I had to settle for 6.3 (pH pen is shit). Thursday 31st December 21:30 I was already concerned that I might be giving insufficient water for optimal growth at this stage and after watching some vids on YouTube today I decided I should give more water. I gave roughly 500ml, just enough to saturate the area around the seed. Mr Canucks on YT advises not giving enough water during germination and seedling stage stunts root development and therefore stunts growth. DAY 9 ------- Friday 1st January 13:45 She was drying out so I tried her with 500ml of nutes fully saturating the area surrounding the seedling. [25°C/60%] DAY 10 -------- Saturday 2nd January 13:00 I gave her 700ml of rainwater as I am slowly building the amount up to see what she is consuming in a 12-15 hour period. [25°C/60%] DAY 11 -------- Sunday 3rd January 13:00 I fed her the remaining nutes in the hope's of producing some runoff to rinse any potential salt buildup from the medium though 2300ml of week 1 nutes did not produce any runoff. [24°C/74%] DAY 12 -------- Monday 4th January 13:30 I gave her 2L of rainwater slowly saturating the medium from the seedling out towards the edge of the pot. I will feed until 20% runoff when it dries out. [25°C/53%] DAY 13 -------- Tuesday 5th January 20:00 I gave Jesus its last feed from the week 1 nutes and so felt it was time to feed until runoff aiming for 20%. However after slowly giving it 3L and not seeing any runoff I decided to stop and give it some time. After 1hr I checked and it had produced 800ml runoff (26%) which is perfect. [25°C/50%] DAY 14 -------- Wednesday 6th January 15:00 Still moist/damp so left her be. I'm struggling to keep the humidity high in my 2x2x4 tent even with the humidifier on 100% power cant seem to get it above 50% this week. [24°C/46%] DAY 15 -------- Thursday 7th January 14:20 Still plenty damp and looking healthy so left her be for now. [30°C/40%]

SUMMARY: I have decided to skip any plain waterings as the GWE schedule is very weak and I continue to read that you should irrigate every watering with coco so as long as I don't see any nute burn I will keep irrigating daily moving forward. I haveb't been getting enough runoff from the feedings. 3L every 72hours is clearly not enough. DAY 15 -------- Thursday 7th January 14:20 Still plenty damp and looking healthy so left her be for now. [30°C/40%] DAY 16 -------- Friday 08/01/2021 21:00 I made 5L of GWE week 1 nutes with rainwater at a pH of 6.0. I have decided to irrigate every watering moving forward and only introduce plain water if issues are noticed as this schedule is very mild and it makes sense to skip plain waterings before increasing the strength. I've also raised the light up from 26" above the pots to 42" (3.5 ft) as all my plants are stacking too tightly and I need them to stretch a little. I've started week 2 of nutes today giving 3.5L at a pH of 6.0. I intended to give 3L but I slowly gave 3L and again could not see a drop of runoff within 2mins and so I gave her an additional 500ml to be sure. I gave 1L concentrated around the seedling and then I used the remaining 2.5L to slowly saturate the entire pot working out from the middle. After 30mins I went back and collected 1050ml (35%) of runoff at a pH of 5.6. [25°C/52%] DAY 19 -------- Monday 11th January 20:40 The medium had not dried out on top however it was mostly drying out. I slowly gave her 3L of week 2 nutes starting from the middle working outwards saturating the entire medium. I forgot to collect the runoff and have "locked up" for the night so will check it in the morning. The environment was showing 38°C/33% on my small hydrometer however my Inkbird reported 23°C and my bluetooth hydrometer reported 24.7°C/52%. It seems the hydrometer was in the heat path from the electric fan heater. [25°C/45%] <-- guesstimate with the multiple different readings DAY 20 -------- Tuesday 12th January 20:20 Jesus is fine though I collected yesterdays runoff which was 380ml (13%) and so I need to make sure I'm giving her enough to produce at least 20%. [23°C/62%] DAY 21 -------- Wednesday 13th January I let the plants dry out today due to the green perlite I'm seeing. DAY 22 -------- Thursday 14th January 20:45 Jesus coco was still dark and slightly damp however it's due a feed and so I fed her 3L of week 3 nutes as she was due to start them on Wednesday. I only collected 250ml (8%) and so I fed her another 1L and can see more runoff now. I will be irrigating on a daily basis moving forward after reading up at cocoforcannabis.com. I'm sold on the idea of always keeping the coco wet as it can always breathe especially with the amount of perlite I use.

SUMMARY: I started LST this week by anchoring the base with wire from one side of the pot and gently bending the top in the opposite direction and securing in place with more wire. Even with anchoring the base the plant is now coming out the ground at a 45° angle. I have tried to leave her alone as much as possible and only tied down shoots when I see them ensuring they are spaced away from each other and will fill the pot when they get their pre-flower growth spurt. She is a very compact and bushy plant with tight spacing between nodes and so she is a real pain in the ass to water. I feel like as I become more experienced I will start employing techniques during veg to ensure more stretch and perhaps early defol/lollipopping as I have so much difficulty watering these small plants especially when you have LST in the mix and wires everywhere. DAY 23 -------- Friday 15th January 18:00 I made 5L of week 3 nutes (Ph 6.0) with rainwater and collected 35ml runoff from yesterdays feed (%) which is not enough. Friday 15th January 20:30 I gave Jesus 2L as I didn't see any runoff after 1L. I checked on it later and collected 1.5L runoff (75%)!! I started LST anchoring the base from one side and then gently pulling the top down from the other side to as close to 90° as safely possible. I'm noticing a smell now as well. [28°C/60%] DAY 24 -------- Saturday 16th January 20:45 I gave jesus 3L of week 3 nutes as I didnt see any runoff after the first 2L. I collected 1.55L runoff (51%). DAY 25 -------- Sunday 17th January 17:30 I fed Jesus 2L of week 3 nutes after not seeing a drop of runoff from 1L. I left it a couple of hours and then collected 1L (50%). I lowered the dehumidifier to 75% power as the RH has been very high this wknd [24°C/77%] DAY 26 -------- Monday 18th January 18:15 I fed Jesus 2.5L after not seeing any runoff after 2L. She's bouncing back after the first bit of LST though I can see the slightest of what appears to be nute burn on the tips. [25°C/47%] Monday 18th January 20:30 I collected 980ml from Jesus (39%). So 2L per day looks to be the sweet spot. I turned the humidifier back up to 100% as the hygrometer was reading so high seemingly due to being sat on the coco. Moving onto a dry surface it is now showing 54% RH. DAY 27 -------- Tuesday 19th January 18:30 I fed Jesus 2L of week 3 nutes which produced 600ml (30%). I also tied down 2 more shoots so I have the main stem and 2 shoots all tied down in opposite directions. [27°C/59%] DAY 28 -------- Wednesday 20th January 19:00 Fed Jesus 2.5L after seeing so runoff from 1.5 or 2L. It produced 900ml runoff (36%). The heater has burnt one of the big fan leaves and crisped it so I have rearranged the tent a little to prevent this from happening again. I also tied down another shoot and added a second tie to the main stem pulling it in a clockwise direction around the pot. [21°C/60%] DAY 29 -------- Thursday 21st January 11:00 The tent temp is a bit low at 16°C as its been snowing here last night. I thought the heater had broken as it was not on even though the ink bird was showing that it was heating. But I switched the heater off and on and it's now heating. Will have to keep my eye on this as it's an old heater. I've got a new one I bought ready to replace it so might just do that this weekend and avoid the risk as i understand one night of cold temps could kill these girls. [16°C/60%] Thursday 21st January 20:00 The heater had broken and so the tent was down 16°C. My bluetooth hygrometer battery also died and so I cant see exactly when it died but it seems that one of the coils had gone and so it just couldn't keep the space heated. I put a new fan heater in that i had on standby and were back up to 24-25°C. I fed Jesus 2L of week 3 nutes which produced 1.5L runoff (75%). Clearly not drank as much due to the low temps, which have possibly stunted her growth too a little.

SUMMARY: She's started to flower on day 33. I'm being much more aggressive with the LST this time around pretty much tying down new shoots each day or 2. Last time I simply tied down the shoots to keep them the same height but this time I'm using the wire to pull the shoots in different directions so they will be nicely spaced when she gets her growth spurt which I expect any day now. She has lots of shoots already and the smell is already quite strong and so I have a good feeling about this one. I'm seeing some brownish spots, like mottling, on a few leaves. Looking at pics online I would say its a slight calcium or perhaps phosphorous deficiency but the leaves are a healthy dark green colour other than the little patches and I'm following a schedule I've used before the only difference this time is that I've used 100% rainwater instead of tap water. DAY 30 -------- Friday 22 January 18:00 I made 5L of week 3 nutes at a pH of 6.1 and 5L of transition nutes at a pH of 6.2. I also collected 5L of rainwater and pH'd it to 6.1. I fed Jesus 2L of week 3 nutes which produced 700ml (35%). I was going to give her a plain watering due to the slight nute burn on some leaf tips but the water was ice cold and so will give it her tomorrow. I've accidentally broken one of her biggest fan leaves off, not sure how. DAY 31 -------- Saturday 23rd January 18:30 I fed jesus 2L of week 3 nutes which produced 1180ml runoff (59%). It seems she may have drank less due to light stress from LST as I have made adjustments the last couple of days. I was going to give her plain water but I'd rather not if I can help it and she looks very healthy and happy so fuck it. DAY 32 -------- Sunday 24th January 18:00 I fed Jesus 2L of week 3 nutes which produced 500ml runoff (25%). DAY 33 <--- STARTED TO FLOWER -------- Monday 25th January 19:00 Jesus has started to flower and so I need to start the transition nutes tomorrow. I fed jesus 2L of week 3 nutes which produced 780ml runoff (39%). She is giving more runoff than the Northen Lights I have which is 2 weeks behind and half the size. I cant understand why she isnt drinking more - am I stressing her too much with the LST? Should i not be adjusting every 24-48hours as need be? Some of her leaves are showing signs of an issue which from memory looks like a calcium or magnesium deficiency though it cant be surely with the amount I supplement with. DAY 34 -------- Tuesday 26th January 19:00 I fed Jesus 2.3L as I didnt see any runoff from 2L and I had 300ml left over. I collected 630ml runoff (28%). I tied down a few more shoots (they are popping up all over) purely just to get them growing in the right direction with even spacing. I think shes going to fill the pot out nicely in the next week. DAY 35 -------- Wednesday 28th January 18:30 I made 5L of week 3 nutes with rainwater at a pH of 6.3 and 5L of transition nutes with rainwater at a pH of 6.1. I fed Jesus 2.4L of transition nutes which produced 860ml runoff (36%). I have tied down more shoots spacing them to fill out the pot and trying my best to keep them all growing at the same height. I'm still seeing brownish mottling on some leaves which is concerning though I dont know what it could be. I LOWERED THE LIGHT TO 16" above canopy after reading 12" is recommended but some advise 16" as 12" burnt their plants. I TURNED OFF THE HUMIDIFIER as the tent was at 74% at 20:00 and Jesus is now flowering. Down to 60% by 20:30 just 30mins after switching humidifier off. DAY 36 -------- Thursday 28th January 10:30 I made 5L of early bloom nutes at a pH of 6.1 made with rainwater. The RH was at 42% and so I have put the humidifier on at 50% power see how that changes the RH. Thursday 28th January 20:00 I fed Jesus 2L of transition nutes which only produced 120ml runoff (6%) and so I will feed her 2.5L tomorrow. I tied down another 2 shoots and made some slight adjustments again spacing them all evenly. [25.5°C/62%] I LOWERED THE TEMP FROM 26°C to 22°C as I feel 26°C is unnecessary.

Any ideas what issue I'm looking at here? On roughly 4-6 leaves currently, not on new leaves. Running calmag so wouldnt have thought its calcium def. but I am using rainwater instead of tap water this time. Plant is looking great other than these spots...

Could still be Calmag, I know you're supplementing already but coco coir could be leaching some of it. How's your airflow, could be that too. If there is enough air flow on the leaves that they are rustling and moving slightly then you're good, if not, get a fan on them incase its a pest.

SUMMARY: I've stuck with the transition nutes this week to try and squeeze every last drop of veg growth I can out of her. She's very bushy and needs defoliating really though I am hesitant to as I worry it stunts her development though I have removed around 20% of her leaves that were dying or blocking bud sites and could not be tucked. There are still too many leaves and tucking daily is time consuming but I dont want to mess with her too much. The RH of the tent is stable around 45-55% now and so I have turned the humidifier off. DAY 37 ------ Friday 29th January 15:00 I TURNED THE HUMIDIFIER OFF COMPLETELY AS RH IS AT 55-60% AT 25% POWER. Friday 29th January 18:20 I fed Jesus 2.6L as that was the last of the transition nutes I had made and yesterdays 2L didnt cut it. This produced 920ml runoff (35%). I think that's all her shoots popped now and so it was just a case of adjusting them today. There are 12 shoots I have tied down all reaching out to the sides of the pot evenly spaced and then theres 3 in the middle so that's a total of 15 tops that if I'm lucky and all goes well and the Gods smile upon me will all fill out into nice long colas. [23°C/57%] DAY 38 -------- Saturday 30th January 12:00 I made 5L of transition nutes with rainwater at a pH of 5.9. Saturday 30th January 19:00 I fed Jesus 2.2L of transition nutes which produced only 50ml runoff (2%). Some more slight adjustments on the LST to keep the canopy as flat as possible. Shes really showing pistils now which makes me wonder if she's actually finished her pre-flower growth spurt in which case I may have fucked up and overdone the LST...I dunno DAY 39 -------- Sunday 31st January 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.4L of transition nutes which produced only 200ml runoff (9%) which is good as I believe she is going through her final growth spurt now and is drinking more. I removed 2 large fan leaves that were covering the entire centre of the plant and couldnt be tucked. This has made a huge difference and opened the lower canopy up to more light. DAY 40 -------- Monday 1st February 11:00 I made 5L of trans nutes at a pH of 6.1 and 5L of increased strength week 3 nutes (extra 0.4ml of each nute) at a pH of 6.1. Monday 1st February 18:00 I fed Jesus 3L of transition nutes which produced 890ml runoff (30%). She is showing a lot of pistils now and I'm concerned shes finished vegging which isnt too good as I could do with a little more vertical growth. [23°C/49%] DAY 41 -------- Tuesday 2nd February 11:40 I made 10L of transition nutes with rainwater at a pH of 6.0. Tuesday 2nd February 18:00 I fed Jesus 3L of transition nutes which produced 800ml runoff (27%). I lowered the odd branch. It looks like the veg growth is slowing down now. [22°C/59%] DAY 42 -------- Wednesday 3rd February 18:30 I fed Jesus 3L of transition nutes which produced 660ml (22%). Shes a beast drinking 3L per day now. I defoliated removing around 20% of the plants leaves, strictly removing older unhealthy ones, ones hanging over the edge that were burnt to a crisp by the heater, and then ones covering bud sites that I couldnt tuck. [23°C/54%] DAY 43 -------- Thursday 4th February 18:00 I fed Jesus 3L of transition nutes which produced 800ml runoff (26%). I have removed a couple more leaves and ensured the bud sites are open to light. [23°C/56%]

SUMMARY: I started to drop the evening temps this week as I have always kept a constant temp from seed to harvest in the past but I want to see if cooler night time temps makes any difference. I have started to drop the temp from 24°C down to 17°C between 21:00-09:00. I did a heavy defoliation this week after much hesitation. After being so apprehensive about removing any leaves I ended up going overboard imo and I think I removed at least 50% of the leaves and also any small lower shoots so I guess I effectively lollipopped her. She seems to be doing ok if her water intake is anything to go on as she is only drinking a little less (producing 15% extra runoff since defoliation). DAY 44 -------- Friday 5th February 18:00 I fed Jesus 3L of early bloom nutes as I've pushed the transition nutes long enough (10 days) and shes done vegging now. This produced 760ml runoff (25%). Shes still growing and I'm still gently pulling down the taller ones to keep the canopy even. [23°C/60%] DAY 45 -------- Saturday 6th February 12:00 I made 5L of transition nutes at a pH of 6.1 and 5L of early bloom nutes at a pH of 6.2, both made with rainwater. I made the inkbird temperature control more accessible and so I will begin experimenting with dropping the night time temp tonight. Saturday 6th February 19:00 I fed Jesus 3L of early bloom nutes which produced 540ml runoff (18%). Adjusted most ties ensuring an even canopy. I dropped the tent from 22°C to 17°C at 21:35 DAY 46 -------- Sunday 7th February 18:00 I turned to heat from 17°C up to 24°C at 10:00 (12hrs of low temps). I fed Jesus 3L of early bloom nutes which produced 540ml runoff (18%). I adjusted the ties again and had to make some DIY stem benders from garden wire to put a bend in a couple of the centre shoots which were climbing, I turned the heat from 24°C down to 18°C at 21:00. DAY 47 <--- DEFOLIATION -------- Monday 8th February 12:30 I turned the heat up from 18° to 23° at 09:00am (12hr period). I made 5L of transition nutes at 6.2 and 5L of early bloom nutes both at 6.1 both made with rainwater. Monday 8th February 18:00 I fed Jesus 3.4L of early bloom nutes which produced 890ml runoff (26%). I gave her a proper defoliation removing any and all lower shoots that would not produce good bud. I removed A LOT...I got carried away with the clean look and didnt realize just how many leaves and little shoots I had cluttering the lower canopy up. I have definitely removed more than 20% (perhaps close to 50%) and so I hope I haven't stunted her too much. [22°C/52%] DAY 48 -------- Tuesday 9th February 10:30 I made 5L of transition nutes at a pH of 6.3 and 5L of early bloom nutes at a pH of 6.3. Both made with rainwater. Tuesday 9th February 18:00 I fed Jesus 3L of early bloom nutes which produced 900ml runoff (30%). Shes drinking a little less today s expected after the heavy defoliation yesterday. [24°C/45%] DAY 49 -------- Wednesday 10th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 3L of early bloom nutes which produced 860ml runoff (29%). [24°C/42%] DAY 50 -------- Thursday 11th February 11:30 I made 10L of early bloom nutes with rainwater at a pH of 5.8. Thursday 11th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 3L of early bloom nutes which produced 320ml runoff (13%). [24°C/42%]

SUMMARY: Last week of early bloom nutes this week. She's flowering but slowly and I wonder if its due to the stress I caused with the big defoliation on Sunday 14/02 where I removed most fan leaves and all lower shoots of which the bud sites would not receive enough light and just create larfy poor quality low strength buds. She smells very strong now as well. DAY 51 -------- Friday 12th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 3L of early bloom nutes which produced 570ml runoff (19%). DAY 52 -------- Saturday 13th February 18:00 I fed Jesus 3L of early bloom nutes which produced 610ml runoff (20%). DAY 53 -------- Sunday 14th February 11:45 I made 10L of early bloom nutes with dechlorinated tap water (no rain water left), 5L at a pH of 5.7 and 5L at a pH of 5.6. Sunday 14th February 18:00 I fed Jesus 3L of early bloom nutes which produced 800ml runoff (27%). [24°C/46%] I did a second defoliation on Jesus which was supposed to just be removing some fan leaves and inner foliage I missed last time but I ended up getting carried away again. Every bud site has plenty of light now so hopefully shell bounce back quick. I also raised the light again so that it is 16" above the canopy of Jesus as it was too close now Jesus has grown. DAY 54 -------- Monday 15th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 3L of early bloom nutes which produced 1350ml runoff (45%). DAY 55 -------- Tuesday 16th February 11:30 I made 10L of early bloom nutes with rainwater, 5L at a pH of 5.8 and 5L at a pH of 5.9. I forgot to turn the heat down over night and the humidity is at 56% currently. [22°C/56%] Tuesday 16th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.9L of early bloom nutes which produced 1250ml runoff (43%). Shes still not back to her usual intake after the defoliation 2 days ago. I turned the dehumidifier on and set it to 45% as the RH had climbed to 62%. [22°C/62%] DAY 56 -------- Wednesday 17th February 12:00 I made 10L of early bloom nutes with dechlorinated tap water, 5L at a pH of 5.7 and 5L at a pH of 5.6. Wednesday 17th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.5L of early bloom nutes which produced 590ml runoff (24%). DAY 57 -------- Thursday 18th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.5L of early bloom nutes which produced 800ml runoff (32%). At the wknd I think I'm going to try and bend the 2 tallest shoots down in the centre as they are taller than the rest by a bit now. I adjusted a couple of ties to expose more bud sites. I had to move the light up again by 2 inches to accommodate for growth as it was sitting at 14" above the canopy. [24°C/52%]

SUMMARY: Still on Mid Bloom strength nutes this week (+ 1 tablespoon of molasses per 5L). Irrigating once every 24hrs as always with her taking in about 2.2L average per day and always aiming for 20-30% runoff. Whilst she has many tops, they're very skinny and I'm not sure they are going to fill out to be honest. DAY 58 ------ Friday 19th February 18:30 I found the tent at 28% RH. No idea how that's occurred but I did notice it was hotter then usual this morning. I turned the dehumidifier of for a couple of hours and it jumped back up to 61% and so I will just set it to 55% RH. I fed Jesus 2.2L of early bloom nutes which produced 195ml runoff (9%). Will up this back to 3L tomorrow. I adjusted a couple of ties to expose more bud sites. [24°C/52%] DAY 59 ------ Saturday 20th February 11:30 The tent temp has been sat at around 23°C overnight somehow. The dehumidifier keeping the humidity around 45-50% seems to also keep the temps between 23-27°C. Saturday 20th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 3L of mid bloom nutes which produced 1050ml runoff (34%). Looks like i have a humidity problem and so ive reluctantly removed some more leaves from Jesus as she is bushy again after a week or perhaps I didnt defol enough. If I have the dehumidifier off the humidity is in the low 60s but if I lower it to like 45-50% then the temps stays too high between 24°C-33°C. [22°C/64%] DAY 60 ------ Sunday 21st February 11:30 I made 5L of early bloom nutes at a pH of 5.8 and 5L of mid bloom nutes at a pH of 5.6, both made with tap water. Sunday 21st February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.5L of mid bloom nutes which produced 825ml runoff (33%). [22°C/49%] DAY 61 ------ Monday 22nd February 11:45 I made 5L of mid bloom nutes with rain water at a pH of 5.9. I am adding half a tablespoon of molasses to every 5L now by adding just enough boiling water to liquify the molasses and then pour it into the feed. Monday 22nd February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.5L of mid bloom nutes with molasses which produced 710ml runoff (28%). [22°C/55%] DAY 62 ------ Tuesday 23rd February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.3L of mid bloom nutes which produced 640ml runoff (28%). With the dehumidifier set to 50% RH it seems to keep it at around 50% RH though the temps between 25-30°C. If I turn the dehumidifier off the RH climbs to 60-64%. Removing more leaves will lower the humidity and I do pluck the odd one every day that is blocking light (I rotate the plants daily 25° per day to ensure all sides get a fair share of light). [25°C/50%] DAY 63 ------ Wednesday 24th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2120ml of mid bloom nutes with molasses which produced 200ml runoff (10%). The temps have risen to 30°C due to the dehumidifier. It is currently set to 50% RH which keeps the temps around 28-30°C and the RH at around 38-40%. I have increased the setting to 65% to see if that helps lower the temp and increase the RH up to 45-50%. [30°C/40%] DAY 64 -------- Thursday 25th February 11:30 I made 10L of mid bloom nutes with rainwater and molasses (level tablespoon per 5L). 5L at a pH of 5.9 and 5L at a pH of 5.8 Thursday 25th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.4L of mid bloom nutes which produced 700ml runoff (29%). SUMMARY: Still on mid bloom strength nutes this week (+ 1 tablespoon molasses per 5L). I've been dropping the pH closer to the low end of the scale this week ensuring I cover as much of the range as possible for maximum benefit. Still no signs of getting fatter yet though...not sure if its just down to genetics though as I havent had any problems and feel this has been a great run so far yet the buds are very skinny still. I'm now pretty certain this strain is Wedding Cake Auto by Barneys farm as opposed to the Gorilla Cookies by Fastbuds purely based on the frosting. DAY 65 -------- Friday 26th February 11:30 I made 10L of mid bloom nutes with rainwater and molasses (level tablespoon per 5L). 5L at a pH of 6.0 and 5L at a pH of 5.6. Friday 26th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.4L of mid bloom nutes which produced 820ml runoff (34%). [22°C/55%] DAY 66 -------- Saturday 27th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.2L of mid bloom nutes which produced 510ml runoff (23%). [22°C/55%] DAY 67 -------- Sunday 28th February 18:30 I fed Jesus 2.2L of mid bloom nutes which produced 500ml runoff (23%). [22°C/55%] DAY 68 -------- Monday 1st March 11:00 I made 10L of mid bloom nutes with rainwater and molasses (level tablespoon per 5L). 5L at a pH of 6.1 and 5L at a pH of 5.8. Monday 1st March 18:00 I fed Jesus 2.2L of mid bloom nutes which produced 235ml runoff (11%). [22°C/50%] DAY 69 -------- Tuesday 2nd March 11:45 I turned the heat up from 22°C to 25°C as I'm going to raise the temps a little moving forward. [25°C/42%] Tuesday 2nd March 18:00 I fed Jesus 2.4L of mid bloom nutes which produced 120ml runoff (5%). Seems shes drinking more today after turning the heat up, go figure. [22°C/50%] DAY 70 -------- Wednesday 3rd March 12:15 I forgot to turn the heat down last night and so I'd left it at 28°C all day yesterday and overnight meaning the girls have been thirsty. [28°C/38%] I made 10L of mid bloom nutes with molasses and rainwater, 5L pH'd to 5.9 and 5L pH'd to 6.1. Wednesday 3rd March 18:00 I fed Jesus 3L of mid bloom nutes which produced 100ml runoff (3%). I will drop the day temps to 25°C and the evening temps to 20°C but will need to increase the intake up to 3.4L tomorrow. [25°C/40%] DAY 71 -------- Thursday 4th March 09:30 I dropped the day temp to 25.5°C today. Thursday 4th March 18:00 I fed Jesus 3.4L of mid bloom nutes which produced 1160ml runoff (34%). [25°C/50%]

SUMMARY: Switched up to late bloom nutes this week on Day 73. Still feeding once per day roughly 3-3.4L which provides 20-30% runoff. I took some macro shots with my cheap microscope and can see we already have a small percentage of amber. I plan to start the flush on Friday 26/03 with a harvest of 10/04 at which point all plants will be ready. SUMMARY: Nothing interesting this week...she's receiving 3.5-3.7L of late bloom nutes per day providing roughly 20-30% runoff each feed. She's still skinny and I'm thinking this one is going to be a low yielder all things considered. I do think that I was late introducing bloom nutes and this has hurt my final yield. SUMMARY: I defoliated her for the last time this week on day 88. I removed all remaining fan leaves and any sugar leaves that were blocking any light or facing inwards. My aim here is to expose the buds to as much direct light as possible and to remove any excess foliage to help with the flush (less stored nutrients to burn through during flush). She's still drinking between 3-3.5L per day and still a skinny bitch. Starting to see some of these pinks and purples coming through in the sugar leaves and so I am now certain that the strain is Wedding Cake by Barneys Farm as opposed to Gorilla Cookies by Fast Buds. DAY 86 ----------- Friday 19th March 11:15 I made 10L of late bloom nutes with molasses and rainwater. 5L at 5.8 and 5L at 6.0. Friday 19th March 18:00 I fed Jesus 3.3L of late bloom nutes which produced 1L runoff (30%). SUMMARY: Its finally time to start the flush and I'm aiming to flush for 2 weeks. I started the flush on day 95 flushing with tap water straight from the hose. I’ve heard you’re supposed to flush with 3x the container volume, however that would be around 57 litres for a 5 gallon pot which seems absurd. I didn’t record the amount but I took my time and flushed with at least 30 litres. I am now continuing to water twice daily until harvest aiming for 20-30% runoff each time. I water once of a morning around 11:00 giving roughly 2-2.5L and again of an evening around 18:00 giving a further 2.5-3L. DAY 93 ----------- Friday 26th March 18:30 I fed Jesus 3L of late bloom nutes which produced 740ml runoff (25%). [26°C/48%] DAY 94 ----------- Saturday 27th March 18:30 I fed Jesus its last ever feeding, 3L of late bloom nutes which produced 560ml runoff (19%). 2nd week of flush this week (started on 28/03). I am watering her with pH'd water twice per day giving her roughly 2.5-3L each time, once at around 09:30 and again at around 18:30. I am not measuring the amount of runoff. She's sadly not a high yielder but she sure is pretty with all the pinks and purples coming through towards the end. I'm really surprised by the lack of amber trichs by day 108 (day 75 of flower). Whilst I would have liked more she has enough for my preference and I smoked a tiny sample bud last night that I knocked off about 2 weeks ago and just placed into a small jar burping randomnly over a 2 week period. I thought it would be very dry and taste of hay but it smelt nice and tasted really fruity and had a strong effect for the tiny bit I had so I think the final product will be beautiful. She had her last watering at 15:00 on Thursday 08/04/2021 and I'm now giving her 48hrs of darkness before I chop her on Saturday 10th April which will be Day 110 from sprout and Day 77 of flower.

* 110 days from sprout to harvest (77 days of flower) * Started flowering on day 33 * 5 days germination (from glass of water to breaking soil) This run I fed her twice per day which was a change from my 1st grow in 5 gallon pots that I fed once every 48 hours. This one was off to a great start and got developed into a great size and shape (sculpted with LST) with lots of tops though she was very underwhelming when it came to flowering and the buds whilst pretty were very small and larfy. I tried supplementing with Molasses as a bloom booster after reading somethings online but it did not seem to make any difference and it does seem that molasses is only beneficial in soil for the microorganisms. I also gave her a proper 2 week flush this time though it may have been for nothing as I have spoilt her somewhat by overdrying her. I dried her for 7 days at 22°C and 55-60% RH until the smaller branches snapped but not clean in half as per all online advice. It seems that 22°C is too hot for optimal drying and I would have done better had I dropped it to 18-20°C. Things I've learnt from this grow:- - You get out of coco what you put in, if you treat it like soil and irrigate once per 24/48hrs you'll do just fine...but if you treat it like hydro and feed as many times per day as possible you will get better results (fresh oxygen is brought to the roots every time you water) - 22°C is too high a temp for drying. Next time I will dry for only 5-7 days at 18°C and 60% RH and then jar (I have no idea how people are still managing 60% RH in the jar after a 2 week dry period! must be very low temps) - Whilst I do see see some slight nute burn (burnt leaf tips) from irrigating every watering as opposed to giving plain water every other watering, it definitely is optimal to irrigate every watering and makes no sense to me to give plain water ever unless flushing. - Molasses does not work as a bloom booster in coco - Dropping the evening temperature seems to add no benefit whatsoever - Better to saturate coco and just top it up regularly (I think of it like a battery and its just best to keep it charged above 70% at all times)
