So, the 4th has just started bad, really bad. 😞 I'm supposing the problem is my pH. I had checked it and the result was nearly 8, so I used a pH reducer and now it should be fine (~6,5). I'm guessing this was the problem from the beginning, but my plants started to show the symptoms just now. I also added some Mg in the water because i think they also have a deficency. Do you think it's better to add now some nutrients or should i wait a few days? πŸ˜• I hope they will get better during this week πŸ˜‡

Grow Questions

Hello! I've seen a lot of pictures on this site and i'm starting to think that my grow is slower than the others. I didn't use any fertilizer. However, today (day19), Nr.1 started the pre-flowering phase. I have seen one pistil coming out. Any ideas why it seems little and slow?

Well the first week with natural light could be the issue. With autoflowers, I have learned that they need to grow as much as possible and as fast as possible. Remember, the first week or so, she is developing the root system before she takes off. Therefor, it could be that without much light she took a bot longer than others. Most autoflower growers use a 20 hours light 4 hours dark scheme. Anyways, nothing you can do about it now. Just take care of her and when she starts to stretch (shortly after showing pistils), you'll see a lot of growth at once. Hopefully she will grow a lot! Also, since youre using 90w, try some LST to spread out the canopy for the most efficiency :)

I thought autoflowering are independend of light schedule for flowering? So why the change of light schedule now? Forgive me if it is a dumb question, but I am new to this (no grow yet) and trying to learn...

@MiguelBay, that's interesting as I heard autos flowering need all the light they can get to get big buds, at least 18-20 hrs, some do even a 24 hrs schedule. I follow and see how it works out 😜

@MiguelBay, thanks for the reply πŸ˜‹ That's interesting, as I read that autos need as much light in the flowering phase as they can get to create big buds, at least 18-20 hrs, some even give them 24...

@StonedWolf, Hi! First of all i'm new too 😁, this is my first time growing. However, i changed the light schedule mostly because of the electricity bill (which wasn't that expensive). And also because i've heard that putting them in a 12/12h light schedule stimulates the flowering phase. I also noticed that since i've put them on this schedule they started to grow faster. πŸ˜„

9 and a 1/2 in away from the plant .......your lights probably to close. .......I'm thinking that's why the leaves are curling

@ChefGreenThumbGardenofWeedin, at first I thought the same thing, but now I see they have partially recovered.

Hi! Auto's don't need 12-12 light schedule. Do it 20/4 all over or u get popcorn buds.

Your problem was that she is too stretched out. You need better lights. Just one or two more bulbs at 30W would have given you the minimum required fro one plant. You are left with a grow delays, popcorn buds, stretching, and other issues.

I think she is looking good as well. The natural look! When you get a chance, have a look at mine as well. No training which I think applies here as well.
