Sour Dragons First Test Grow ruby dragon bx x Sour diesel 18th January 2021 firstly sorry i should have updated this 2 days ago but have been busy. The bigger plant unfortunatey got eaten by something so I am keeping the 4 little seedlings I still have, in a grow tent under a LED until they are a bit bigger and I'll repot them. It's probably also about time I gave them a light feed so I'll give them some "Go Green" from the Professors nutrient company. Cheers for stopping by 👍

Sour Dragons First Test Run ruby dragon bx x Fastbuds original sour diesel 2nd February 2021 Only 1 Plant left now . 👈 One showed itself as a Male already!! 😮 The other ones just looked shit and stunted 😄 so I pulled them up. The only reason I kept this one , is because of it's nice shaped leaves and general healthy appearance. But if it fails to grow much in the next 7 days it to may fall into the (not worth the effort and time) category. Remembering this is a test run of auto flowering genetics I want the plants to be vigorous straight out of the seed so may need to keep popping beans or move onto another potential cross. Sour Dragons First Test Grow ruby dragon bx x fastbuds original sour diesel auto 24th February 2021 Well I am pretty happy with how this sour dragon plant is developing. the stems when rubbed emit a smell almost Identical to the sour diesel parent plant 😍 which to me is fantastic because the sour diesel is one of my absolute favourite strains 💪 She's looking a little scruffy so I'll do another light defol to tidy her up and allow more sunlight to penetrate those lower budsites. I gave them some Superthrive @1ml to 3 litres Rainwater. The Buds are stinky as Hell 😍 Super Gassy and sweet and fruity combine to make an incredible aroma simply lovely indeed!! I expect that they will be ready in 7-10 days This Dragon has buds that look very Kush like in appearence yet have retained that Diesel smell from the fastbuds strain I made the cross with 😀 Now the Bad News........ 😬 Tiny little grey caterpillars are causing damage to the delicate sticky buds 😡 How dare they Destroy such Stickiness and Goodness??? Not much I can do at this late stage except pick off the pillars I can find between now and harvest. Now for the Three Little Sour Dragons.......................... Three will soon be two as I think one of them is a Male & I'm just waiting to be certain before it gets the chop. Sour Dragons First Test Grow ruby dragon bx x fastbuds original sour diesel auto 23rd March 2021 So I chopped down the flowering girl today as the Caterpillars were getting beyond a joke and the trichomes were mostly clouded anyways so I thought lets get this over with. 👊 To make sure I got rid of every single "pillar" from the plant after harvest I did something I have previously never attempted. Basically I Plunged the whole plant into a bucket full of clean cold water and thoroughly rinsed it all over . Then I shook the shit out of it to remove the excess water and probably a lot of good trich's 😬 It's now hanging up to dry and then it'll be trimmed and cured for a bit. I'll post pics of the finished bud at a later date. I did try a small bud that I removed and dried over the last couple of days, and yes I can tick off a couple of desired traits in this one that I was hoping for. Main one was the Sour Diesel Smell and flavour , this has Both the astrigent smells and tastes of diesel with a sour citrusy infusion. Bloody lovely if I do say so myself . 👌😁 Another trait that I liked is the tight almost "kush" like buds that are like golfball sized hard potent and sticky 😍 Now for the things that could be better in my opinion 😎 I would have liked to see it grow faster during the vegetation stage to provide a medium to large sized yield 60Grams dried would be ideal but perhaps the genetics need tweaking to achieve this. ????? 😏 The other thing that worried me was it's apparent weakness to any sort of bug attack . The plant really turned up it's toes because of that caterpillar attack and it looked like they would win eventually if not harvested first. So what do I do now ??? Couple of options I can explore , One is to cross a sour dragon female with some feminized pollen from a donor auto variety that may help increase the yields and vigor . Possibly a Sativa dom auto strain I would need to do some research. Or the other way is to use a Sour Dragon MALE auto fom my stock of seeds to pollinate a female auto plant of the same desired traits as mentioned above. All this takes time so hopefully I'll get some progress with these Sour Dragons my very first Autoflowering variety 😀 Now Back to whats already happening , I am down to only one little Dragon now as the other two were males the one that is left isn't very big but that could have something to do with the tiny pot it's in ? Now it's shown it's sex I'm gonna repot into a bigger pot and hope for the best 👌 I'll keep updating the growth of this last little Sour Dragon as it develops each week and Once again before I sign off A Huge Thanks to All of you for the likes left each week and the Positive comments and vibes you provide me .
