UltraFlatBlack Wk 2; The kids starting preschool this week...👍👌✌️ They’re growing so fast, I’m gonna cry! Lol...✌️👌👍

UltraFlatBlack Wk 2; Started the kids off this week with a tiny bit of nutes since they’ve been being so good...👍👌✌️ Just watching, cuddling, and maintaining...👍👌✌️

UltraFlatBlack Wk 3; I topped all three kids on day 15 and they put up no fuss and did really well. I then had the soul crushing horrible accident this morning during some daily cleaning. As I went to rotate the girls I tripped over some shit on the floor and down she went😩. After the dust settled it was painfully obvious that she was gone. R.I.P little Afghani #1, taken down before her prime...👍👌✌️ I upped the nutes a tiny bit and just lots of kisses lol...👍👌✌️

UltraFlatBlack Wk 4; I over watered two of my kids this week and they hated it! I’ll have to check better in between waterings. Being new I get cocky and a I paid for it LOL... ✌️👍👌 So the kids got over the watering incident with no fuss and I got them a new fan today so we’re even! I did a little light defoliating since they’re back to being healthy wild little shits. Tomorrow I’m going to start some light LST training and we’ll see how they go...👍👌✌️

UltraFlatBlack Wk 5; So week 5 started out good kids are lively and getting big! I broke my iPad so the photos jump a week or so. My bad... The last week has been horrible weather where I live, -20F during the DAY! I’ve had to constantly monitor my temps due to power surges. Hopefully we are getting over the worst of it and I can relax just a bit. I need to defoliate this week but it’s just to cold to even handle them outside of their house. So I wait and watch. 😕 Day 37 and all of the kids have started to show highlights, even the Afghani. So I am excited... Day 41 and it’s the end of week 5 and I’ve got some deficiencies going on that I’m trying to fix. Frustrating and for a newbie a real pain... 👎✌️

UltraFlatBlack Wk 6; Start of week 6 finds me dealing with some deficiencies. Im trying to get on top of it but it’s starting to climb so I’m worried. It’s only on the the two Northern lights. I’ve amended the nutes on those two so time will tell I guess. Not good...👎 Day 45 and I believe I have corrected the deficiency perhaps.?. The new foliage is healthy and I don’t see anything spreading so I keep babying them until I know for sure. I tried to do a few things different this grow and I’m starting to realize why you need to fully understand your grow, plants, nutes, etc well enough before you just start trying new things. I’m trying... 👍✌️

UltraFlatBlack Wk 7; Start of week 7 and things are scooting along, somewhat nicely I guess. I still have one kid giving me all kinds of trouble while the other two are growing up beautifully! Especially the Afghani. I have a new “higher quality” PH meter coming and I’m working on my nutes for the sickly one. Frustrating...✌️ Day 52 and I received my new ph meter and when calibrated my old cheap one was 50ph off. Even when calibrated it would just scatter after you dried it or shook it. Anyway I hope this will improve things... 🤨

UltraFlatBlack Wk 8; Start of week 8 and I’ve almost got the deficiencies stopped completely. A quality ph meter seemed to do the trick. I already baby them...👍✌️👌 Day 58 finds me a day or two away from chopping the Afghani. It’s super early for this poor kid to be finishing but my faulty ph meter has just caused it to be dwarfed and to finish way to early in my opinion, but what do I know. I’ve checked my new meter twice just to make sure it’s on point. Finding out it was so far off whack so late, a couple of weeks into flower, has just tore this grow up. I’m so super pissed at myself for not checking it when I couldn’t stop any of the deficiencies! Total rookie. I really hope I can still have somewhat of a decent harvest. We’ll see...🤨

UltraFlatBlack Wk 9; So start of week 9 finds things moving along. I chopped the Afghani a few days ago and she’s drying now. The NorthernLights are doing good, one great and the other is limping along. All the stress through out the grow has really hurt things for it. Ah well all I can do is learn and try not to let it happen again right!?! Right...👍👌✌️ Day 67 finds me getting ready to flush the Northern Light. The kid has bounced back with gusto! I’ll leave picks and updates about the Afghani harvest as soon as I jar them... 👌👍✌️

UltraFlatBlack So I harvested the Afghani on day 56, that’s two weeks earlier then CKS recommended but that’s due to my mistakes with the faulty PH meter and a few small other things I could’ve changed that made it flower to early I believe. I’ve learned so much this grow... 👌✌️

UltraFlatBlack So this harvest was a lot better then I thought it was going to be. The buds were a little denser then I like and the frost was a little low but I know all of this was due to me so it’s a champ in my eyes! I learned so much again from this grow and I’m super ready to go again. Let’s get it!👍👌✌️
