I planted this in with a mango chutney for the 1st 14 days and wow what a mistake!! I ripped off so much roots trying to transplant them into their own pots! The leaves were going orange but I was using John Innes no1 soil and I think the nutrients in the soil had depleted from the crazy growth of roots! Put them in fresh soil and fed bio bizz to top up the nutrients as John Innes no1 is for seedlings! They really slumped for 3 days then started picking up again
Starting to come good after losing her roots last week and the nutrient deficiency and then transplant shock too. She is in soil with nutrients for seedlings so I’ve topped her up with half the minimum amount of bio biz ie 1ml per litre of water.
Moved her to an 18 litre and moved to her a different spectrum and she’s really bushing out now, not quite ready to flower I don’t think so I’ll keep vegetating longer than Kush and mango. She’s been so temperamental that I don’t think I’ll do a cutting from her.
Upped her to 4ml bio biz and changed her light, she’s picked right up now. She’s ready for flowering because if she grows the same this week as she did last week then she’ll be too big for my tent lol I’ll be having to hang my lights from my actual ceiling and take the roof off my tent
She is an amazing plant to grow but very temperamental to the cold, didn’t need much LST even though I didn’t know how to do it while I was growing her
Water and feed was running straight through so had to aerate with a thin knitting needle which helped instantly! Slight nutrient deficiency but this should be fixed now
Getting so frosty that the leaves look like cotton balls but the buds ain’t fattening like my mango chutney and critical Kush is! Mind you, the don’t have that frost that gorilla Zkittlez does lol
Started flushing today, day 55, seeing what looks like trichomes going amber but my scope arrives tomorrow so I’ll finally get to see exactly what is going on. But I’m sure the scope is gonna show that the trichomes are screaming that they’re ready lol
My 1st grow so not sure if it was my mistake but buds just didn’t grow as big as barneys critical Kush or dr Kripplings mango chutney. She doesn’t like the cold at all, needed a heater to keep her warm while the lights were off. Apart from that she never gave me any problems at all
Enjoyed growing her and once I’m more experienced I will give her a go again but out of my 3, Gorilla Zkittlez, mango chutney by dr Krippling and critical Kush by barneys farm, gorilla Zkittlez was my least favourite. But I might change my mind once I’ve smoked some of the other two lol! She had some weird flower looking things and after a million opinions me and many others concluded she had hermied. Wasn’t 100% sure she was ready but after smoking her I’m sure she was and if she hermied then I’m glad I harvested her when I did
@Ganjagrandaddy, thanks, she dried in 5 days so I was worried it wasn’t long enough but this is day 3 in a jar and everyday she is smelling better. Still has that green homegrown smell to her so I hope she loses it as I was so unprepared for the harvest and drying stage lol
