Grow Questions

I feel like my coco isn’t drying, partially because there’s no root mass to support the larger container (I know, I know, I’ll use solo next time to get them started in media before transplanting into auto pots). Anyway, is overwatering possible with coco like soil?

If it's not drying then leave it lol don't water more. Coco is best mixed with clay pebbles or perlite as it gives better airiation and drainage . It's hard to over water in coco but you don't want to flood it either. Once the top starts to dry out is usually when I water . Every other day waterings at your stage . No need to water everyday atm as they don't have enough root mass. Also keep in mind that plastic pots and straight Coco will take longer to dry out.

Coco coir natural hold air like perlite or growstone. Adding one or other to coco mix helps with drainage and additional air to roots. With coco use cal mag. Like 3 times amount. Coco absorbs cal mag, so compensation is needed. Good luck and happy growing 🌲🌲🌲👊

Not if it's good coco. It's very hard to overwater in coco if you have decent drainage. Just a warning, constantly wet coco invites critters. Let the top half inch to an inch dry out occasionally.
