Lemon Hunt

bobtheblob I'm doing the same training as in Critical Bush diary, pruned off some top leaves hoping for slowing down the main cola. When moving the pot around found that the root is already pretty long and escaped the pot a while ago, looks like the plant tends to have a solid main cola. Just a guess though.

bobtheblob So I'm continuing to removing the main cola leaves to the stretch and it seems to work. The stem is already a monster, looks like this lady gonna be big. The lights are too close and I'm not caring enough hence the burns, but overall she's doing fine to me

bobtheblob Moved to 12/12, not plucking leaves anymore, trying to spread the existing branches a bit - did the same with Critical Bush

bobtheblob Pruned a bit, LST-ing to spread the branches and make it wider. All good, she's recovering from surviving in a smaller tent :-P

bobtheblob She recovered from the repotting and looks much better! Not doing anything this week. Pistils are starting to appear, will count next week as flowering most probably.

bobtheblob Pre flower took about 2.5 weeks or so, buds are just starting to form. Pruned a couple of branches in the middle to let it breathe better

bobtheblob Here come the buds! I touched her once and she smelled like amnesia haze/kalashnikova I've grown, fresh carrots or something similar. Pollinated one of the branches with Tropicanna Banana pollen, all good otherwise.

bobtheblob Looking good, eating good, getting bigger and bigger day after day. All good. I'm still lazy to act on whiteflies but I don't see them seriously damaging plants yet. Probably making them produce more THC! Hopefully ahah

bobtheblob This week I've spread the branches a bit to let the light penetrate the lower buds better, placed a couple of fly traps, and put some diatomaceous earth on top of pots and on a few leaves. LGTM :-)

bobtheblob So the buds are steadily getting bigger and I'm thinking about giving some PK for a week and for that I need to remove the drips and disconnect this exact lady from the system... Not sure if will ahah

bobtheblob Plucked fan leaves to reduce humidity in the center of the plant, also to kill the flies and their larvae. Encarsia Formosa seems to appear here and there but the larvae of the whiteflies don't turn black for now. Waiting for the whiteflies holocost. Also was hesitant to change the reservoir water completely, did that on day 5 or so, buds kinda exploded after, pretty noticeable on the timelapse. Another lesson that being a lazy fuck complicates stuff

bobtheblob After changing the reservoir the buds exploded, the color of the leaves gradually changed to green and I see the pressure inside of her pumping her every day. All well, much better than the last week. I hope this would also prevent someone from being lazy like me. Also, make sure to make the process of changing the water somewhat easy in your setup.

bobtheblob Chopped tops, yielded 117 g wet. Lower buds grow a little, I think I'll cut the rest this week. Terpene profile according to my wife - "Sweet carrot". That's how she'd call it ahah
