As everyone knows, the seedling stage is a bit boring.
Pulsar started the week at 1.25" with her first set of true leaves and finished the week at 2" with her second set of leaves and her 3rd set forming on the apical meristem.
Cement Shoes is vigorous and vegging faster than the other 3 with better leaf growth. She started the week at 1.75" with her 1st set of true leaves and ended at 2.375" with her 2nd set of leaves with larger fingers than the others and a3rd set forming on the apical meristem.
Cannalope Haze looked great when I transplanted her but I noticed that she wasn't growing. I found her leaning over on 1/22, so I pushed a little coco up next to her stem to prop her up. For the next few days she looked good but for the lack of vertical growth. On 1/25 I found her leaning over again. When I attempted to prop her up yet again her top fell off. On closer inspection it looked like the top had simply come off the stem and after a bit of time on the Google machine I chalked it up to damping off. I stuck a new seed in the coco and she popped on 1/28.
Now that my girls are going strong, for the next 2-3 weeks I'll slightly extend the intervals between watering to promote root growth. The goal is to have them root bound in their final pots to accommodate multiple feedings per day.
@iHateSativa, thank you, I certainly appreciate the compliment. Making sure things are dialed in and the plants are happy has been a challenge but I'm learning!
