Before I bought a tent I used to have them in my second room with a lamp and fan. Humidity was pretty low but I kept it under a plastic bags with some water. After a few days I have started adding some nutritions. I do not know what brand is it but it is a violet bottle with a bold title “STARTUP”.
Finally I bought a tent. The only thing I have to deal with is a heat. It is between 32 and 35 celsia. I am cooling it with open tent “doors”, water and stronger fan. The temperature usually goes below 30 celsia.
This week I had some doubts about their size so I decided to bring a supportive collection made a monkey, some motivation quotes and phrases, Barney’s devilishly smiling sun and my so called nude line art.
Plants go big. The difference between the third and the fourth week is damn huge. It seems to me like that motivation stuff worked pretty well. Also, I decided to put Amnesia plants in to bigger pots.
the difference between previous and this week is massive. A few days ago I bought a humidifier and now it helps a lot. Also I bought some new Plagron nutrients called "Alga grow". The smell of plants is getting stronger, Amnesia plants smells pretty neutral to me, but the Tropicanna Banana, oh man, it is like freshly chopped tropical fruits. During the day I like to leave the tent open so that soft smell could fill my flat. It is like, pretty therapeutic.
This week has been pretty juicy. A few days ago I gave away one of my Amnesias. My friend had a b-day and he decided to grow weed too. Now, every new day my plants are getting bushier and stronger. I think, next week or so. I will switch to the flo. light schedule. My tent is not that big and I am afraid that any longer holding it in veg. would be pointless.
This week I have decided to switch to the flowering light 12/12 schedule. The flowers grow a little bit more than I expected so maybe I will put them in some bigger pots.
This week I needed to move some of the growbox equipment. My Tropicanna Banana (the tallest) has been growing quite wildly. Also I trimmed the biggest leaves.
This week went pretty well imho. Buds are pretty sticky and their smell is superb. I know that the smell does not make you high but it definitely can uplift your mood. For the next run I should definitely manage some bigger pots and maybe different type of light.
I am out of Alga Bloom nutrients, so this week to next two other I am going to use just my pure zyme and as a final step before flushing. I hope it is going to be enough. The only thing that makes me a little bit nervous is that smell. When I leave doors open it feels like I am one step from those plants.
I have got that“DÁVEJ SI UWAGA MŮJ WEED, TĚ SEJME JAKO HURAKÁN PO JEDNOM POTAHU” feeling.
It grows.
It grows damn good and I am proud of it.
Growing weed is someting like a second parenting to me. Once you have them, you can not just throw them away. They have their names, their feelings. You have to feed them, teach them and be proud of them.
Now, after 15 weeks, they smell great, looks great.
God damn. Tropicanna banana. as you know it is my first strain and first growing ever, so my expectation were pretty low but things turned out pretty well. I do know yet how much grams I will get but I will count it and add it later. Also I would like to give very special thanks to DreamOn (his nick on Growdiaries) who helped me a lot. I definitely recommend to follow him here and on his Instagram. Tack.
Because of my moving out, I was forced to finish my growing Amnezia Haze one week sooner than I planned. I do not know how much it is influent but one week ago I dried a small bud and the taste was pretty nice. I know it is too soon and it will get better after curing etc, but I was pretty curious. ofc, in a few weeks I am going to add more info. I would like to give special thanks to DreamOn (his nickname on Growdiaries) for his mentoring and helping. It helped a lot. Many thanks to you, homie.
